  1. HOW THIS FORUM WORKS This is a work I'm going to be working on for a while. While I can't exactly control what you guys do, I would appreciate it if this didn't turn into a chat forum. Give me feedback as the story progresses and please, enjoy the ride ^^ Chapter 1 Morning Daylight breaks on a warm morning, welcoming and smooth. The light reflecting off of roofs and buildings bounces in a matrix of invisible sunlight, beaming in and out of windows down the narrow streets of a sleeping town. I lay in bed, warm and cozy, my eyes rested shut and my breathing steady. But something sounds amiss- a particular ticking I don’t recognize. It sounds like an alarm- DRRRRRING! DRRRRRING! Without warning my ears are assaulted by an unseen enemy, forcing me from my slumber and putting my attention on high. I realize at that point my arms are around a girl in front of me, which really isn’t all that bad until I realize she didn’t have any legs. No, the chick has flippers. Flippers. I can promise to you with 100% certainty that I have never been more freaked out in my life. Well, never more freaked out sober. So, naturally I do what any guy in the right mind in this situation would do. I scream, tear my arms away from her, and back away asking about a million questions. “Who are you?! What happened to your legs!? Why was I in bed with you?! Where am-“ I can’t finish that last sentence. I topple backwards into some sort of pool next to the bed. I flail helplessly for a few seconds then surface, looking around to see that the entire god damn house is pools. There are platforms above the pools, I guess to walk on, but turning back to the girl I see nothing but confusion and fear. Within normal bounds of reason, she has actually been screaming this entire time and pointing at me. She stops for a brief second, saw her flippers, and started flopping around like a fish on a boat deck. She falls out of bed and hits the ground pretty hard, a deep thud following. I look behind me to see what she was looking at and discover a picture of a fox that looks like a human. Wait, no, a moving picture. A reflection. It’s me. Again, I start freaking out and dropped in the water. Fish girl is still screaming. After a second or two we both stop. Feeling rather brave and seeking answers, I call out to her terrified from the other side of the bed. “Y-yo?”, I call out to her. No response comes immediately. But after a minute or two I hear her begin to choke through words to answer me. “H-h-hi?”, she answers. Good, she speaksEnglish. “I don’t know what’s going on, where am I?” I ask. “Your guess is as good as mine. Do you know what happened to my legs?” she asks in return. Good question. Why does she not have legs, why are my ears on top of my head, when did I get a tail, and where is my condo. All very, very, very fantastic fucking inquires. However I have a very heavy feeling none of them are going to be answered. “Are um…are you okay?” I ask. “Yeah, yeah I’m fine I guess. Kind of hurt my arm falling but past that…” she calls back. “I’m going to come over there, cool? Just feels kind of weird talking to you from behind a wall.” I say nervously. “Okay.” With that I stand up and started to walk over to her, slightly cautions. I snicker a little at that last line- it’s not even close to weird. It’s about the most normal thing I’ve done. Rounding the bed, I see her sitting on the floor, covering her breasts with her hands. She’s naked- and I realize I am too. Embarrassed I cover my crotch with my hands, but realize it’s pretty futile at this point. Removing them, I take a seat next to her. She’s beautiful really, her hair is silken and her face is youthful and smooth without folly. Her skin is a grayish tone, but it goes well with her hair. Taking a moderate tone, I try to initiate a conversation. “Alright, so from what I’ve got here neither of us has any clue what’s going on, why we were in a bed together, what we even are, or where we are. But I know my name, which I guess is good enough for now, right?” She nods her head. “My name is Kody.” I say. “Autumn.” She reciprocates. So far so good. So her name is Autumn, and much like me she has no idea what’s going on. Wonderful. Standing up, I take a gaze around the room. It’s stocked with a dresser, TV, bathroom, pool floors, a bed, and a doorway leading elsewhere. I walk over to the dresser and open the first drawer, finding a set of swim tops inside. I pick one at random and toss it over to her, which she puts on hastily. In the following drawer there are shorts, which I grab and slide on- but immediately wince in pain as it bends my tail at a rather uncomfortable angle. I hold back another scream, as I don’t think my lungs can take it. Dropping them back down I fish my tail through a precut hole and try the whole thing again, much more successfully than the prior attempt. There are some tee shirts in the last drawer, but I don’t bother since I’m pretty much soaked. Now decent, I walk back to Autumn and take a seat next to her. “Look, I’m gonna go outside for a moment, and see if I can get a grip on what’s going on, okay?” She nods her head nervously, clearly not a fan of being left alone. But I need to have a look- maybe there’s someone who can help nearby. Standing up I walk on the planks above the pool floor and head for the door leading out of the room. Outside of the bedroom is a full garnished living room and kitchen stocked with food, movies, and furniture. The shades are all closed, so I walk over to a window slowly and peer through. It’s morning, so the streets aren’t very populated, but there are a few people out. Well, not people, they look like me. Human in shape, but furry. With tails. And ears. Against my better judgment I make my way to the front door and open up, warm air bursting through the opening and parting my fur. It feels amazing, it feels sincere, it feels right. It’s been a while since I’ve felt like this, or- at least I think it has. Now that I try to call on it, I can’t recall anything before this morning. I know my name, but really that’s it. After another brief look around, I see that there’s really no one here looking remotely concerned, and as a result likely no one in the same spot as me and Autumn. So rather than wasting my time pulling someone aside, I head back in to find Autumn where I left her. I kneel down next to her and sigh, rolling my eyes on how I’m supposed to explain this. “Well, everyone outside looks like us. Well more look like me than you, but I mean that shouldn’t matter. Clearly you’re a norm if they make houses with pools instead of flooring.” I say motioning to the halls of water behind me. It’s a reasonable explanation, hopefully one she’ll believe. “I think they’re for you, anyways. Give em’ a try.” She nods and inches herself towards the water, sliding her fin in. She lets a light smile out because the water’s so warm, and slides in her torso. Almost as if she was born in water, she starts swimming about happily, propelled by her huge tailfin. After thirty seconds or so she returns to me and rests her hands on the side of the bed’s platform. “How’s the water?” I ask. “Warm. Warm and refreshing.” She smiles, looking down at the water. However her smile quickly dissipates when her focus falls off the water and centers on her tailfin. Her face tells me everything. It’s cool being something different, but the limits of whatever that “thing” is, aren’t quite as awesome. None of this situation is really that positive, but at least I have legs. And while this house may have waterways for Autumn to travel by, the sidewalk certainly doesn’t. Empathetically, I rest a hand on her shoulder and give her a weak smile to let her know I understand. Really I don’t, but I need her to believe I do. I need her with me in this, otherwise we might never find a way out.
  2. Hey Bros, I've been out of producing for a while, and I've had a little difficulty getting back on the horse. I'm looking for a dubstep/electronic artist like myself that would be interested in a collab. Putting a track out with someone would really boost my confidence and get me back in the swing of things. I use FL studio 11, have an extensive knowledge of NI Massive, and a load of drum loops, drum samples, synth one shots, and melodies. I'm thinking since it's so close to halloween we could do a nightmare night themed piece. If you're interested, tap this as soon as you can. If you've got a skype that'd be sick. Thanks so much, Vinyl
  3. My OC's Name is subhoofer. Maybe I'm just speaking for myself but I think that'd be a sick name for one of the electronic genre ponies.
  4. Soundcloud.com/VinylStab I ain't too popular yet, but people who hear my tracks say it's love at first hearing X3
  5. And so goes the life of the unrecognized musician X) I've scrapped sooo many projects. If they were all suddenly finished right now, I'd have four or five albums!
  6. Thanks! I do a little bit of sidbar rapping myself, but nothing uploaded at this point. Wanna collab on something? I've got a hoofload of unused beats. I cant boast about any singing myself XD I prefer instruments to make my sounds for me :3
  7. Nothing I love more than listening to and making music. I make electronica, dubstep, 8-bit, techno, and some more emotional piano-only songs. Sign me up! /)
  8. Friends call me Vinyl, and I love making techno, 8-bit, electronica, and dubstep. I also make rap beats and such. Anypony wanna work on something? I've got a pretty sick song stem and I'm STARVING for a collab. Hit me up!
