  1. Kismet was now among the ponies in the group, however with all the commotion, no pony seemed to notice her. She wasn't surprised, after all, with all these supernatural occurrences a small lavender mare was probably the last thing on their minds. Kismet tried to help, or at least make herself useful, when suddenly, Princess Celestia appeared! Kismet instinctively dropped her front legs down into a bow. She had never met a princess before, let along the most royal of them all! Yet here she was, not even 10 feet away. Kismet looked up toward the Princess, listening to every word she had to say. She spoke of Evening, which made Kismet's heart heavy. "Where could she be?" Kismet worried. It seemed as though the princess had revived the red stallion, evidently named "Red", and he regained consciousness. Kismet was amazed, but remained quiet. She wanted to watch this scene play out, perhaps it could lead her to where Evening is....
  2. @@Zhooves,@@Pripyat Pony, @@Sterling Crimson, As Kismet approached the group of ponies, she noticed little North's limp body on the ground. A white unicorn was using her magic (hopefully) to revive him and mend his injuries. Kismet's heart began to race. She couldn't bear the thought of the little guy being hurt. She noticed that another red stallion was also laying lifeless on the ground. Nothing would revive him, nothing would help. It was a disaster. Ponies were injured left and right - this wasn't supposed to happen! Kismet's breathing became shallow from fear, but she tried to remain composed. She pushed down any nervous, awkward feelings and summoned up all her remaining strength: "Hello? Guys? Can I help? I - " She was cut off by a blinding white light, seemingly coming from the lifeless red stallion's body. A small whimper escaped from Kismet's throat, her fear now stronger than ever.
  3. @@Sterling Crimson, Kismet ran about, looking for her friend. "No, NO! I can't lose her. Not again." the same thought cycled through Kismet's head as she swerved in and around the trees of Central Park. It was strange how - normal - everything felt. The sun shone brightly, just as it did the day before, and the snack stands around the park were filled with young fillies and colts begging their parents to buy them another ice cream cone. "It amazes me how society adapts so quickly," Kismet thought, "Ponies are afraid of what they don't understand, so they dismiss it as if nothing had happened." She stopped a moment. "What if.... what if it was a dream...?" Kismet continued her search, but to no avail. She simply could not find Evening. She was gone, and Kismet could do nothing. Just as she was about to give up, she walked a bit further and noticed a familiar red stallion. He was with others, and tending to what looked like injured ponies. "So it was real." Kismet thought sadly. "I just hope everypony is alright," She trotted over to the group to see if she could be of any assistance. It was times like this when ponies needed to join together for strength and support. ((BTW I'm using this as an opportunity for Kismet to meet the other ponies. We can make this as short or as detailed as you guys want. I'm up for anything.))
  4. She heard birds chirping happy, singing their song to announce the arrival of a bright new day. The sun shone strong and tickled Kismet's nose, causing her to sneeze. With the force of the sneeze she shook herself awake and realized it was morning. It was nice; clam, peaceful, and very, very quiet. She lifted her head. Much to her surprise, she was in Central Park. "How did I get to Manehatten? Am I dreaming?" Suddenly it all came rushing back. The wedding; the lake; the ponies; the darkness; it was all clouding her mind. She cringed from the memories. Then she remembered. Evening. ((Sorry for the bland and late post, i've been busy, but I'll be sure to post more later!))
  5. @@Budding Night, Kismet ran up and up the tall, winding staircase, up to where the private garden dinner table was. Kismet knew the newly weds had gone up there for their private dinner, so logically this would be the first place to look for her dear friend. "Evening?? Where are you? Are you okay? Please say something! I - I need you!" Kismet could feel her eyes starting to water and her heart swelled with fear. What's going on? Why is this happening? Tonight of all nights!?! Suddenly Kismet stopped, for in front of her was Evening. But she was not alone. She was talking to this strange earth pony, and they both had a morbid look on their face. This was not good. Kismet desperately tried calling out to her friend, but no sound came out. The shadow ponies were getting heavier and heavier, and like a thick fog, the shadows engulfed her. Even opening her mouth, the shadows would seal the opening and fill her lungs with inky blackness. Kismet was terrified, but there was nothing she could do. It was useless. She tried to fight off the feeling of feint, for Evening's sake, but to no avail. She felt herself drifting; drifting a long ways away.
  6. North had just finished talking when a huge shout came from the reception area in the park. Kismet whipped her head around and scanned the horizon to see what was going on. "Probably just a silly pony knocked something expensive over.." she told herself, but she wasn't quite convinced. She slowly got up and began treading towards the sound, inviting North to either come with her or stay for protection. He was a bit of a small pony, after all. Her slow walk soon became a gallop as she saw more and more ponies freaking out. This was no ordinary accident; something really bad was happening! The darkness grew and soon enveloped the whole park. Kismet could barely see, and she was desperate for help. Though she was scared, she wasn't thinking of her own safety, but rather the safety of a close friend. "EVENING! EVENING GLORY!" Kismet shouted, galloping through the screaming crowds, "WHERE ARE YOU?"
  7. @@Fluttermena, Wow what a great picture! Thanks for sharing And yeah, it's unbelievable how many episodes Apple Fritter is in that I never even noticed before! Perhaps when I rewatch a few episodes I'll be on the lookout... Anyway I wanted to just put this out there: What do you guys think of her cutie mark? I mean, I know they represent "Apple Fritters" but I just think they could have done a bit better job. They kinda just look like beige boxes. Comments?
  8. I'm glad my post is getting so many a couple replies! And yes, to agree with most of you, she is a super cute design but I believe she should remain a background pony. I definitely think she could appear more, maybe like a 'where's waldo' type thing. (But I think they do that with most of the background ponies anyway... hehehe)
  9. Thank you kind sir! I agree that she should remain a background pony, (I don't think she fits into the story enough to really play a role, unless it's an Apple Family Reunion or something) but I do want to at least see her more in the background. She really is a cute design and a sweet pony, so I think she deserves a bit more attention than she has now. (I mean, there's a thing going around about the pony 'Bottlecap' for Celestia's sake)
  10. Okay so I was just derping around and enjoying MLP FiM as most of us do. Yep, pretty cool, right? Everything is going just as well as expected aaaaannnnnnnndddddddd...... BOOM! New character, right in front of my eyes! Well, new to me. I had always noticed this pony in the background, but had never payed any attention to her. Now I am curious to see what others think of this pony. I personally think that her design is adorable. Her coloring is interesting too, she makes the green hair work in a cute way. I also love the German design in her 'herritage' I suppose, since Apple Fritters are popular in Germany. So, what do you guys think of this character? Should she get more talk than she has now? Or perhaps you think she is fine just as a background pony? Let the discussion begin :3
  11. I personally think that Rarity has the best design of the Mane 6. Her curly mane perfectly reflects her personality and the fact that her coat is white only emphasizes the fact that she CAN NOT STAND getting dirty. She is primed, polished, and perfected to the point where her color scheme, symbolism, and even her race as a unicorn all come together to make the perfect design - Rarirty! ((But I also think Applejack is a pretty awesome design too.... The long pony tail and pulled back mane are perfect symbolism for her hard working spirit and her hat is just so adorable!))

  13. ((@@Zhooves,)) Kismet breathed a quiet laugh, "I know what you mean. Weddings are great and all, and I'm happy for Sterling and Evening, but it can be quite intimidating. Especially since all of Equestria is either here or watching it on live television..." Kismet paused and looked back to the lake. "It's nice to feel a bit of tranquility before heading back to the real world." She said, barely louder than a whisper. She looked down at the blue colt, his eyes heavy. "You guys must have had quite an adventure. If you don't mind me asking, what happened? From what Evening told me, you guys and the other - survivors - became very close...."
  14. ((@@Zhooves,)) Kismet flinched back at the sound of the blue colt's voice. "North!" Kismet said, suddenly remembering his name. "How did you get here??" she paused - "I mean... I you're quick..." she gulped, feeling foolish. With a cute, quirky smile she said: "It's nice to see you." Kismet was never too good with social situations, especially with new ponies. Sighing inwardly, she waited for a response. In the meantime, she gazed forward deep off the glowing horizon, shimmering with the moonlight.
  15. Kismet didn't know what to do, but she figured sitting here alone in the moonlight wasn't helping. Breathing in a deep sigh, she heaved herself onto her hooves and began to wander around the park. She weaved her way through the crowds of ponies; some sitting and enjoying their meals, some standing around and enjoying their conversations. It seemed as though everypony were having a good time. "Good," Kismet thought to herself, "Evening and Sterling deserve the perfect night." She walked a ways more until she reached a beautiful pond, reflecting the moonlight off and glittering in wonder. Kismet took the opportunity to sit and gaze out onto the lake, soaking in the moonlight. Suddenly she didn't feel so alone. She felt peaceful here, and content. "I wonder which of Evening's friends I will meet next? I know... well Sterling of course, and... ummm... (what was his name?) the little blue one..." She looked up back toward the reception area. "That's him over there...!" ((@@Zhooves,))
  16. ((OOC: sorry sorry sorry sorry! Eeek I've just been busy ad I didn't realize how much I've missed!)) @@Sterling Crimson,@@Budding Night, Kismet chatted with Sterling a bit more, learning about him as well as sharing a bit about herself. Suddenly a white stallion with a bright blue mane trotted onstage, which caused Sterling to jump out of his seat (mid sentence) and talk to him. Kismet was just left with Evening, so she turned her head to speak with the mare. Just as she was about to say something, she realized that Evening didn't look... present. Her eyes were foggy and she had a terrifying expression on her face. Kismet didn't know what to do, she wanted to help her friend but at the same time didn't want to disturb or frighten her. Kismet just sat and watched until soon Evening came back to the present as Sterling sat back down at the table. She watched as Sterling presented his gift to Evening, and how happy it made her look. Kismet was overjoyed for the couple and wished them all the best. When Sterling invited Evening to a top side private dinner for two, Kismet could only nod in agreement. How perfect for the newly wedded couple! Evening sauntered off with Sterling close behind. "Phew" Kismet sighed. "I'm so happy for them, and the 'exquisite dinner for two' sounds perfectly delightful. Now I just need to find a place to eat. Here. Alone. By myself. In this huge reception hall filled with strange ponies." Kismet knew she was being a bit overdramatic, but it wasn't too much of an exaggeration. She looked over her shoulder and around her in the huge reception hall. She felt very, very small.
  17. @@Sterling Crimson, "Things are going well," Kismet thought. "He's a really nice guy. Just be yourself, Kismet, and it'll be fine." Kismet took notice of Sterling's calm demeanor, and felt a wave of relief pass through her. He really was a nice, polite stallion, Kismet just needed to be more confident. Meeting new strangers (with a lot riding on her first impression) was never her strong suit... Replying to his question, Kismet said: " Yes, Evening and I have known each other for a long time. In fact, I was her best friend as fillies. We would do everything together and we always had a great time. We were gonna earn our cutie marks together, but then one day her parents decided to move to Canterlot.... and.. Evening was... unable to remember our friendship for a long time. I was beginning to doubt that I would ever see her again... But I'm sure Evening's told you all about her - life - after moving to Canterlot."
  18. @@Sterling Crimson, Heart fluttering, Kismet barely even realized that Sterling had asked her a question. "Kismet" She blurted out. "My name is - Kismet." She blushed and smiled, trying to hide her rosy cheeks. "Don't be such a ditz" She thought. "He's just Evening's new husband, no reason to be nervous.. It's not like he'll be living with Evening for the rest of their life and if he hates me then I'll have to live with it forever and maybe even never see Evening ever again for the second time and......" Kismet shook her head. Trying to remain composed, she reached out a hoof in offering to shake. "Nice party you got going on here." She said to Sterling, not quite meeting his eyes. She stayed close to Evening for support.
  19. @@Budding Night, Kismet's eyes widened. "Meet him? Now?" She asked. It was hard to keep her nerves under control, after all this was Evening's new husband we were talking about! Kismet gulped and managed a smile; "Heh, well I guess there's no time better than the present. Alright. Lead the way." Kismet answered. Inside she was very excited to meet the new stallion, but nerves were getting the better of her. "Keep it together, Kismet." She told herself, "Just play it cool" She felt better, but as they approached the groom, Kismet had a feeling deep inside that Sterling was going to ask her about her cutie mark. The question she had absolutely no answer to. "Here we go"
  20. @@Budding Night,@@Sterling Crimson, Kismet began to smile as her best friend Evening approached. She looked so elegant and graceful in her gown, like the perfect bride. She was positively glowing with happiness, but, Kismet could tell (as she knew her very well) that Evening was getting a bit camera shy. Kismet couldn't help but giggle a bit when Evening finally reached her. When she asked her how she was enjoying the ceremony, Kismet answered wholeheartedly: "Oh yes, very much so! I, I just can't believe you're married, Evening! It seems like just yesterday you had left... But today is for rejoicing your future with Sterling" Kismet looked over, and noticed that Sterling had glanced this way, "And he's not too bad looking, either, Evening. I just know you two will be so happy together!"
  21. Noting that the ceremony was over, Kismet took the time to just close her eyes and feel the moment. The holy music of the orchestra playing, sending off their wishes to the newly weds as they walk down the aisle, was wonderful. Kismet smiled and trotted back down the aisle with the other ponies, leaving the chapel hall. "Alrightly Evening," Kismet thought, "Your big moment has arrived, but now it's time to celebrate!" Kismet's mind went to the cake, the music, the dancing, it would all be great except for on teensy, weensy little detail. "I still have to meet her friends.. The ones from the wreck. What will.... They think of me...?" Kismet gulped and tryed to focus on the fun and keep her worries to a minimum. After all, this was a time for rejoicing, not for doubts and fears.
  22. When the orchestra finished the beautiful piece, Kismet was overcome with emotion. "I'm such a sap," Kismet thought kindly, "It's just so beautiful!" As the last note ended, Kismet began stomping her hoofs on the ground. Such cherished moments should never go unrecognized. It started with her own hoof-steps, but soon the crowd began to join in as well........... (ahem)
  23. Kismet smiled from her back-seat view and watched her best friend transform from a bright young filly to a happily married mare. It was an emotional and happy time for everypony, even Kismet felt a little damp on her cheeks. She sighed a satisfied sigh and watched as the two locked together forever with their holy kiss. It was beautiful, and Kismet's chest swelled with joy at the sight of the newly wedded couple. She wished all the best for them and that they stay just as happy forever and ever. Kismet reached up and wiped her eye, trying to prep herself for when the bride and groom trot down the aisle for the first time together as husband and wife. She wanted to be there for her friend, to support her and love her every step of the way. ((OOC: Sorry it's been a bit of a delay but I spent the weekend with my family up in the mountains. 25. This was it. It was happening, and Kismet was missing it. The beautiful music had stopped, and only Princess Luna's Equestrian Voice could be heard echoing from the chapel. It could only mean one thing: the couple are taking their vows. Galloping as fast as she could without ruining her gown, Kismet raced to the entrance and set her wrapped gift down with the others in the reception hall. She quickly asked a puzzled concierge where her seat was and thanked him after she had gotten the information. Then, with a deep sigh and a gulp, Kismet creaked open the door. It was the back door. Frozen with embarrassment and frustration, Kismet was behind the podium where Sterling and Evening were taking their vows. Luckily she wasn't in the sight of the audience, but she had a clear view of the ceremony. Everypony looked beautiful, especially the bride. Kismet looked over to the groom. "So that's what the famous 'Sterling Crimson' looks like" Kismet thought with a smile, "Not bad, Evening, not bad." Then she heard Princess Luna ask Evening whether she would take this stallion as her husband. Before she answered Kismet did a small wave and tried to catch her attention. "I'm here for you, Evening. I'm so happy for you." she smiled.
