If you mean the pen nibs (You know, the removable pen tip)

Then yes, you should change it after it's worn out. (example - One side of the tip is flat)

But if you think it doesn't affect your drawing much, then you can save your nibs and change it whenever needed. Nibs are very expensive in my opinion, I try to save them as much as I can xD
