I highly recommend it. It has very good characters, the story is great, the animation is beautiful, it is hilarious, and it is very sad. Also, the music is beautiful.

But if you do decide to watch it, don't just watch the first one. Watch the second one as well, as the first one isn't the best representative of the show and the other episodes are much better. Not that the first episode is bad, it's just not as good as the others. Also, it is a very short show and you could watch the whole thing in a weekend.
