    OMFG there is a huge flying beetle in my room right now and I am scared...I tried to crush it but somehow it survived. Now I don't know where it is and I am freaking out.

      Then, think snake. Snakes are not afraid of bugs. Snakes eat most of them, including beetles. I ain't saying go catch it and eat it, just don't be afraid.
