searching Bangcolt Arena! (Fighting/Sol) -OOC- (Never closed)
Jack Baker replied to J.R.'s topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
Dear Lord, did I bury myself in a bunch of B.S. or what? -
@J.R. Raze kept focusing his thoughts... nothing, for now anyway. "Damn..." he said under his breath. Suddenly, caltrops appeared on the ground in front of him, inhibiting his original path... along with a monstrosity words could not describe. "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!?!" he exclaimed pointing at the... thing in front of him. It had three heads, and it looked extremely obscene... he almost wanted to vomit, if it weren't for the fact he was being chased right now. He looked to the left. There was a building located right before the caltrop-littered road, a store with a large display window in front of him. He braced himself, then ran and jumped into the window, shattering it. He landed on the ground with a roll, a bit sore from the impact. Nevertheless, he kept going. He infiltrated through the back door and onto a rooftop, where he jumped from that roof to another one. On top of it was a frozen-looking... "pony" hurling what appeared to be ice spells. He looked at the pony while he was running. He never knew someone was throwing magic up on the roofs, but that was besides the point. He kept running, jumping from the current rooftop into another, he turned around and unholstered his revolver, firing off a couple of shots at the guards still after him.
-
Raze was running through the city, not once looking back. He had to think, and above all, remain calm. Suddenly, an idea popped into his head. Cannonback. He knew he could sense things, including the prescence of other people. Perhaps he could sense someone's thoughts and communicate telepathically? It was worth a shot. He focused his thoughts. Hey, Cannonback... I don't know if you can hear this... Hell, probably not, I'm probably just thinking to myself here... but if you can... I have a tiny problem.
-
Raze's eyes lit up, and he grinned devilishly. "There's the reaction I wanted to see," he said, then quickly swooped up the crown pieces. "You know, those words really hurt my poor heart. But since you called me a ruffian and all, I guess that's what I am. The queen's words are absolute, right?" he said sarcastically. "So I'll do what ruffians are supposed to do: take this thing, melt it down into silver bars and sell them. I can already smell the moolah coming in..." He scoffed at the pony as he turned to run. "It's been a real pleasure!" he said to her as he quickly dashed out of the arena and into the crowded city.
-
Raze grinned as they turned around to leave, then, with one quick motion, dashed past the pony and the guard, drawing his katana out. There was faint ringing in the air near the two of them, that seemed to progressively become louder, until the female pony's intricate and seemingly expensive headpiece was sliced in half, faling to the ground with a clink. Part of the guard's tassel on his helmet had also been sliced off as well. "I'll have you know I'm more than just a 'heckler'," he said to both of them, then looked at the guard. "Another one of your brainwashed pets... what a shame." He pointed the blade at her. "Listen up. I don't care who you are, or what you do or did, all I know is you're bad news." He scoffed. "No charisma? No one would ever believe me? 'That's a generalization if I ever heard one.'" He mocked the pony's statement to him. "You really shouldn't judge. I have friends in many places, as you'll soon find out. And I'll expose you for the lying, manipulative rich-bitch you are." He sheathed the katana, but still kept a hoof on the handle, and assumed a careful stance.
-
Raze shook his head. "Don't hide it," he said to her. "I know what you are. You're the type of two-faced pony who who manipulates others to get what they want. Hell, I'm willing to bet this is your first time setting out of your 25 million something-or-whatever bit mega-mansion and into the sticks. I've seen many a pony like you in my line of work... let's just say the color of their blood really matches the vintage wine they drink." He got up real close in her face, then smirked. "So like I said, don't hide it. That's just one more lie you have to add to your hidden, heaping pile of deception."
-
Raze couldn't help but overhear the mare's pompous complaint and proceeded to head back inside. "Yeah?" he called out to the crystal pony, adjusting his katana. "Well, then what the hell do you think you're doing here? Did you lose your way to the Miss Equestria competition?" he said in a somewhat mocking tone.
-
Raze jolted his head up, realizing he had fallen asleep for quite some time. He looked around, still at the lobby. With a sigh, he headed out and stopped at the entrance, leaning on a wall next to the huge doors. Suddenly, he saw what appeared to be a crystal pony, a guard, and some sort of reporter heading towards the arena. He raised his brow. "Seems like someone wants to make a grand entrance..." he said to himself, then smirked. "What does she think this is, a beauty pageant?"
-
Raze looked at Agririon as he left, then sighed. "Still the same quirky wraith he always was..." he said to himself, then decided to leave the bar so he could head back to the arena. He headed back to the lobby to view the screens there. He was watching both Ivory's fight and Agririon's.
-
"Uh..." Raze said. "As much as I'd like to, aren't you kind of already in a fight? With that shotgun chick you were talking about, right? Do that first, then we'll talk... if she doesn't kick your ass first, that is." He laughed, then looked at the T.V. screen, showing the fight between Ivory and the pony she was talking about.
-
(( Background music)) "Ehhhh?" Raze exclaimed, looking at Agririon with a mocking grin. "Them's fightin' words, Cannonback... what, you think I take those trips just so I can admire the fresh air and frolick in the fields like a happy-go-lucky dunderhead? You're gonna have one hell of a rude awakening if that's how you see it. When I'm done beating YOU I'll be sure to send your skull to the Princesses in a nicely wrapped pink bow. I'm sure they'd like that."
-
"Yep," said Raze. "And I've got the mercenary gig going on for me as well, so..." He sighed. "Not to burst your bubble of optimism, but when it comes to the Princesses... you ain't gonna win. They have too many tricks up their sleeve, and their power is... well, overpowered, of course. Like One Punch Pony overpowered... it's kind of sad, really. You go in there just to get your ass kicked by them, like... why even?" He looked up. "Makes me question what they're even doing here in the first place."
-
Raze turned around to see the familiar face of his old comrade from way back when. He smiled slightly. "Sure is," he responded, looking around. "Somehow, I had a feeling you'd be here. Must be attracted to all the violence. Gives you a little tingly feeling inside, doesn't it?" He sighed, then looked at him. "Even still... why did you come here? Surely not for me..."
-
Raze, seeing as Libby left to make her way to the snack vendor to get something, decided he would see the fight later, and made his way to the bar first just to relax. There were screens inside anyway, so he would be able to watch the fight from there. He sat down at the counter, standing his katana next to him.

Nah, it's cool. Maybe I'll reboot it, sometime. Besides, we had one person disappear for a while from that RP as well, also, not a lot of people joined. -

@J.R. Hey, I've noticed that neither my character nor my fights are on the original post, is there a reason for that? -
@@Fractured, "I see..." Raze said, then turned around and adjusted his katana. "Well, I've had enough fighting people for one day. I'm gonna go and watch the fight from the stands, so, uh... like I said, be careful. May Celestia be with you in there." He began to walk, then turned to face Libby. "You wanna come too?" @@J.R.,
-
@Fractured Raze looked at Ivory, then looked away. What was her deal with this "Blizzard" guy, was what he started to think, then disregarded it. It was none of his business. "Now, as a person who's already fought in the arena twice..." he said to Ivory. "Be careful; no one pulls any punches once the fight starts, they look at you as if they mean to kill you... though they won't, they have rules against that. Even still, just keep your guard up."
-
"Yeah. I don't know why, but you can. I did it already..." He sighed. "And I nearly kicked the bucket too. It's weird. Why would they want to participate in something like this? A showcase of power?" He looked around. "Anyway..." He pointed to the entrance. "The lobby for matches is through there, if you want to see it."
-
@Fractured Raze slowly walked up to Ivory, looking around. "Yeah, it can get a bit... out of hand sometimes," he said to her. "You have to sign up for a challenge, then you and your opponent get taken to this... room of some sort, I don't know how to explain it; it changes depending on how you describe it before the fight. Speaking of which, you can fight almost anyone. Even the Princesses..."
-
@Fractured@J.R. Raze shrugged. "Sounds good enough to me, I guess. Might as well try to get a better understanding of who I'm facing anyway." He then turned over to Libby. "Soooo... am I allowed to come with you guys, or no? Either way's fine by me, I'll respect your decision either way."
-
"Dunno," Raze said, looking back at the arena, then back at Ivory. "I'm new here, believe it or not. Only been in a couple fights, and I haven't been paying too close attention to the bracket... hell, there's probably too many to name off the top of my head." He sighed.
