  1. @Fractured Raze quickly turned around, gripping his sword and drawing it quickly from the scabbard, parrying the blow that would have gotten him. The swords were locked, and Raze was staring at Luna dead in the eye. "The reality of what happened was not like the stories that idiot guard told you!" Raze said to her. "You are a fool for believing it so!!" He brushed her sword to the side with his own, then brought his blade back and followed up with a swift stab.
  2. @Fractured Raze kept calm, still remaining still. The dust storm didn't surprise him, he expected the princess of the night to fight with tactics such as those. If I can't see her... he thought, taking the hoof off his sheath and reaching for his weapon belt. She can't see me... He unclipped a sand grenade from his belt, and took off the pin, quickly throwing it in the direction of the storm and swiftly returning to his original stance. He waited a while, then heard a loud explosion. He hoped the magic sand would be enough to injure her in some way; each enchanted grain was like a tiny piece of shrapnel, and he thought one of them would have to hit her, at least.
  3. @Fractured Raze remained silent, then stood on his hind hooves; putting one hoof on the hilt of his blade, and the other holding the sheath, crouching low, anticipating Luna's next move. That was all he did. He remained stock still, focusing his gaze on his opponent's movements, if any.
  4. Keep in mind that time in this Rp is a bit all over the place right now; for some it's night, and others it's either day or afternoon.
  5. @Fractured Raze took the katana off his back, sheath and all, and strapped it to his right side under his gun holster, with the blade facing upward, Iaido style. He looked at the princess. "Hmph," Raze said. "I can't believe you would actually take the words of a jealous guard over my own word, the word of a guard you trusted completely and wholeheartedly. Well, it may not have bothered me before, but I've had time to think about it, a lot of time. And now, I'm a bit mad that you would think that of me. So listen up Tiara Girl, I've come back to reclaim my honor, even if that means taking down the princesses I once dedicated my life to serving."
  6. Raze remained silent for a few moments, then scoffed a little. "What a surprise..." he said, slowly walking forward. "You really don't remember me, don't you?" He stopped walking, still a good distance from the princess. "You don't remember Raze, your former bodyguard?"
  7. Raze nodded, then proceeded to make his way towards the arena. While on the way, he checked his gear, making sure everything was in order. Gun? Fully loaded. Sword? Ready to go. He reached into his saddle bag and took out two sand grenades, strapping them to his belt. He put his bags next to the arena entrance. There wasn't anything particularly of value in them, so he was confident that nothing would be stolen. He took a deep breath and entered the arena, seeing the princess in the distance.
  8. "I'm more than aware she's a good fighter," Raze said to him. "That's why I'll be sure to keep a calm head, and a steady hoof on my gun and blade." He looked at his weapons, then sighed. "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Besides, I have a few tricks up my sleeve... and I'm not talking about sand grenades or anything like that."@Fractured He looked at the receptionist. "Yeah. Whenever she's ready."
  9. @DwhitetheGamer "Yep," Raze said to Copper, waving hello. "Gonna try my hoof at taking on Princess Luna." He looked up the the screen, where it showed the Princess after her recent victory over Copper. I WILL beat her... he thought to himself, adjusting his katana resting on his back. I have to...
  10. @Fractured "I don't think I've been more sure about anything in my entire life," Raze said to her with a very serious look. "Look, just trust me on this. I'm more than capable of handling myself against the princesses." He smiled. "And if it turns out I'm not... oh well. I'll learn something from it."
  11. I was thinking you would play the receptionist. And yes, let the princess decide.
  12. @Fractured Raze went back into the arena lobby, finding the receptionist to schedule the fight. "See that princess on the screen?" he said, pointing at Princess Luna. He leaned on the table. "Schedule me a fight with her. Now. Any arena, I don't care where, all I want is to face her. Name's Raze."
  13. It's mainly due to the fact that Raze saw Luna first, so he doesn't know that the others are there. Anyways, now that I got your permission, I'll just post now.
  14. Luna first, if he wins, then Twilight, then Celestia.
  15. So this is all on Raze's character page, basically he was a Royal Guard before, one of the Royal princesses' most trusted bodyguards, before a jealous guard framed him for stealing money from the kingdom's reserves and kicked him out. He didn't mind before, as he always wanted to leave, but after having a long time to think about it, he's a bit mad that the princesses would think that he would when they trusted him so much, and also for losing the honor of being a Royal Guard. Now that he knows they are in Bangcolt, he wants to retake the honor he had lost by fighting and defeating the princesses. TL;DR: Raze wants to fight and beat the princesses to regain his honor.
  16. @Fractured Hey, so I was thinking of having a mini-arc type thing between Raze and the princesses, that has something to do with Raze's backstory. Wanna hear it?
  17. @P-Jay Raze nodded after reading what Yrel gave him. "Interesting..." he said, handing her back the book. "So he was a legendary blacksmith of some sort... who created three legendary blades; two of which are buried somewhere, and one that's still probably out there." He looked at his katana. "You probably thought this was Selene or something, huh...?" He smiled at her, then looked at the TV screens. He saw that Copper had just lost to Princess Luna in a fight... Wait. he thought. Luna... His smile quickly turned into a stone cold expression. He stood up. "Well... as much as I enjoy chatting about this, I'm afraid I've gotta go," he said to Yrel. "Don't worry though. If I see you again, we'll definitely continue this conversation. It's got my interest piqued!" He waved good-bye to Yrel, then turned to exit the lobby, making his way outside. So the princesses are here... one of them, at least... he thought. Looks like my plans have changed a bit... He looked up. Time to regain the honor I've lost...
  18. Yeah, I'm not sure if this RP is going to go through, I mean it hasn't gotten as much attention as I thought it would...
  19. @P-Jay Raze shook his head. "Unfortunately, no. The ponies in the Far East never told me anything about him when I was there, nor did they have any records of him... as far as I know, anyway." He looked at the katana, eyeing it with a newfound curiosity. "If you seem to know so much about him, why don't you tell me about Farrier and his three masterpieces?" he asked Yrel.
  20. @Melted Dog Raze shrugged. "Well, whatever the deal may be, they've been dealt with," he said, rubbing his bandaged face. "Oh, and thanks for treating this." He smiled at her, then looked at the hole where the front door was supposed to be. "We better get this fixed, somehow. We don't want any more Timberwolves coming in again..."
  21. @Melted Dog Raze looked around. When he saw that both of the wolves were dead, he breathed a sigh of relief, then felt the cut on his cheek throb in pain. "Ow..." he said, putting a hoof. "Well, at least it's all over now..." He sat down on the floor, then fully laid down on it, exhausted.
  22. @Melted Dog "In a wooden cabin I don't think that's the best idea!" Raze responded. "We can do without it, watch!" He grabbed the knife from the wolf's leg, and held it in a backhanded style. He delivered two quick stabs to the wolf's eyes, blinding it. It began to flail around wildly in pain, trying to figure out its surroundings. One of its claws cut Raze on the cheek in the process, and he grunted in pain. He delivered a strong roundhouse kick to the wolf's face in retaliation, knocking its head clean off and shattering it.
