  1. My mother made me a mask and I had to take a picture and prove I was wearing it to her.

She also got the face shield. I think people need to be shielded from my face more.

I feel like an especially lame version of the terrorist teams from CS GO with this mask on.

    You take the point.

40 rolls of toilet paper stolen from Kapfenburg Castle

    Aktualisiert am 28. März 2020, 12:59 Uhr Updated March 28, 2020, 12:59 p.m.

For weeks there has been news about stolen toilet paper or disinfectants. Now thieves have visited Kapfenburg Castle.

More current information about the corona virus can be found here

Thieves stole 40 rolls of toilet paper from a locked room next to a public toilet in Kapfenburg Castle in Lauchheim. They also took paper towels and soap with them, the police said on Saturday.

According to the information, the strangers had access to the premises between Tuesday and Friday. The financial damage is small and in the lower double-digit range. The police officers who were called in did not have the words, as it was said.

    What the hay

The civil war already began, it has.

  3. @Randimaxis

I'm writing a Sailor Moon inspired fic and I was wondering if I could borrow Deuce

  4. Sonic, the restaurant, has She Ra toys. So there I was, an adult male, buying a complete set. Meh, when I worked in the oil field I bought MLP toys at McDonald's with my coworkers watching. :Tempest:

  6. Feels weird to not have any new sports aside from WWE inside an empty performance center.

  7. Back in the 80s, people were worried that D&D turned kids into Satanists.

Because as we all know, kids are incapable of separating reality from fiction

IMO, All Bottled Up did the "Starlight misuses magic" angle best.

Even as someone who generally likes Starlight, I agree that The Cutie Re-Mark was her worst.

  13. Della was forced to participate in "social distancing" for 10 years and was still able to celebrate. You can, too.

    They sounded like cannons.

  16. I thought of something interesting:

You know the popular trope in zombie flicks that if you get bitten or scratched just once, you'll turn into a zombie? Barring immediate amputation of the bitten area of course.

Suppose that wasn't true. What if instead of automatically being doomed to an unlife of zombieism, you had a chance of receiving a "dry bite"?

This is something snakes occasionally do. When you're bitten by a venemous snake, there's sometimes a chance you get a dry bite- a bite without venom. But there's a difference between venom and the zombie plague.

The odds aren't great of course. Maybe like 20% you'll survive or less. Even if you do survive, you'll still feel like crap and look like you're dying until you fail to reach the last stage, which is death. The only way to tell you're going to become a zombie is when you actually become a zombie.

Suppose your friend or a family member got bitten, then. Do you quarantine them and use valuable supplies when the odds are great that they'll become a zombie anyway? Or do you mercy kill them at the start, knowing that there's a chance of them recovering? If the latter, would you lie awake at night, wondering if you killed a soon to be zombie, or your buddy who was going to recover?

I think this dry bite idea is a lot more frightening than "if you're bitten or scratched you're dead."
