One thing Shadow Play did better than The Movie was not Worfing the Princesses again (granted, unlike with The Storm King, The Pony Of Shadows's plan didn't involve them).
That's kind of an ingrained rule of mine, should I ever write a fic: "If you can't include the Princesses without Worfing them yet again, then just leave them out altogether."

Speaking of The Pony Of Shadows, he was literally just Nightmare Moon all over again.
Even The Storm King, disappointing as he was (especially in contrast to his portrayal in the pre-Movie comics), still managed to stand out more (and had the scene-stealing Tempest Shadow as his enforcer anyway).

No matter how much RT tried to knock it down, I enjoyed the movie far more than most others.
To be fair, that's only the Tomatometer (Only 46%? Really, guys?); the Audience Score, on the other hand, sums it up much better (a solid 85%).

I'm completely neutral about him.

Pointless, repetitive filler... but still fun as Tartarus (save for the Tank-abuse).

*Knew @Dark Qiviut was just trolling.*
*Still got one-upped (was expecting pictures of leaky pipes instead).*

That's roughly the same score I've given it.

Overall, mostly great movie; just with a few nitpicks.
Quote- The Storm King is an average villain and probably one of my least favorite pony villains. Not all that interesting, and he shows no development whatsoever. He doesn’t even get to escape so that one day he can return and once again raise hell in Equestria, nor is he reformed. Instead, his death is implied when his crystallized self falls and shatters. Kind of a boring outcome. Still, Liev Schreiber’s voice acting is good. He did a solid job.
Sad thing is, The Storm King was better and more unique in the prequel comics.
P.S.: Agreed about Liev Schreiber (dat Sabretooth, tho).

Me after initially thinking this was going to be a quick crackfic about The Storm King:
-
The film's Storm King = disappointment compared to the one from the comics.

I know someone who could go on and on for hours about how Celestia is actually an evil tyrant for "forcing" other ponies to think like her and that Chrysalis is the most relatable and moralistic character in the show,
If they were talking about Bizzaro Equestria, they'd be spot-on.

While I do hope Spike's in Once Upon A Zeppelin, it would take multitudes more than just his absence for me to start screaming, "RU1N3D F0R3V3R!"

I never realized it before, but you resemble a Snakepone version of Link...

Discord stays the same because his life literally depends on it.
Actually, the whole fading-away thing seemed to begin only after he 180'd his dimension itself.
See Fisher King and Fisher Kingdom (TV Tropes) for the gist.

Only real complaint:
No epilogue montage about the non-Aku future.

Kind of a Dethroning Moment Of Suck to just waste The Guardian and his portal like that.

Sorry about your great-grandmother.
Lost both of mine, so... yeah.
