Wolf Children is about two kids whos father is a werewolf and its meant to be a cute,silly and moving story.

Hourou Musuko is about a boy named Nitori who is a boy wanting to be a girl and about when he moves to Middle school and when he meets a woman who wants to be a guy. the anime is slightly serious as it addresses teen habits and the day-to-day battle of Trans teens and other minorities and touches on love and romance

I'm usually into darker anime, but off of the top of my head my favorites would have to be:

Fairy Tail

Black Butler

Code Geass

SAO

Durarara

I could probably name a few more if I needed to. Some of these I'm guessing you've already seen though. I'm planning on watching Angel scythe after I'm Done With Fairy Tail but I'm not sure how good it is.

I tried watching Fairy Tail, but it never really appealed to me, so I didn't see the hype. >.<
