Starting a weight loss plan! Anyone got any tips on what to stay away from, food wise? Or exercise tips would be nice...i'm planning on doing walks around the neighborhood + circuit exercises.

My mom is making steak and baked potatoes for dinner. I won't put any butter on my potatoes and put little BBQ sauce on my steak. Tis it.
I really do have a habit of eating too much, or procrastinating. I really want to take control of that, for I kinda let myself go.
