    This week's been hard. Lots of little things (allergies, anxieties, dehydration) wearing me out. Having my focus wane this much is concerning. I've been jumbling my sentences all over the place. Reflecting on things brought a tinge of sadness (mainly from exhaustion and resignation), but spending time with friends took my mind off of it. Gonna resume studies soon, but hoping to take a long rest tomorrow.

      Thanks, Serbon. It didn't last long, but sadness itself is rare for me. When I imagined my senses slowly fading, it made me reflect on what I'd be missing. My mind hadn't gone there in a while, but the extra exhaustion pushed it forward. Even then though, I wouldn't sour the moments I had. Each moment stands on it's own, and I'll make the most of them.

      For me, the best cure for sadness is work. Any kind of work, just to be useful, and to focus on the present moment. And when I am desperate I cut air with my katana :/

      I honestly enjoy working (studying, reading, etc), but my anxieties can make it difficult to focus. It's improved considerably this past week though. The progress feels real, but so can the pain sometimes. I'll keep at it though. There's no way I'll just stop here ;)

    Dehydration may be a symptom of my primary problem, or a separate issue all together. Either way, hope to resolve it all soon. There's a lot I want to do :)

    It's been my background for a pretty long time. In class today, my friend suggested I change it x3 When I asked what part bothered him (color, message, etc.), he goes, "The color...the message..what they're doing". Haha. Maybe he felt extra self-conscious by it today, or it was an easy target for our ongoing random conversation. Whatever prompted it though, I laughed a little. Just reminds me why I have it. I love it, so it stays

      My parents still bemoan my attention to detail in conversations (and things in general) ^_^'

       

      A hobby of mine in high school was finding new words. Kept a pocket notebook and dictionary on me at all school hours, and expanded my word bank quite a bit. Words contain ideas, and I was on the hunt. Ended up giving excessive attention to how I structured sentences- wanting to express complete and clear ideas.

       

      The rest of the profile holds strong, too. Convincing myself as...

      The rest of the profile holds strong, too. Convincing myself as I spoke as much as who I spoke to. And as much as I loved formulating ideas (English/Psychology/Philosophy), I chose math-intensive fields. Being able to create things drew me; and I felt the former was best derived from experience. I love Computer Science for merging logic and creativity. Win, win!! ^_^

      Well...I went on for a while there, lol xD Psychology, indeed.

       

      I've been at the other end of the spectrum recently. Acting on impulse and feeling instead of incessant thought and anticipation. Bringing it to the middle ground now x3 I want to be in a proper state of mind at all times; namely, to connect with others as much as possible. That "mistake" just reminded me of why I want to improve. I'll get there soon.

    Maintenance staff helped a lot. Flood is gone. A strong fan dries the rug. Mold is bleached (at last xD). Might avoid my room for the night, but glad all that stuff was handled.

    When I first watched the episode last night, AJ seemed pretty overbearing. Didn't appear out of character, just overplayed. Was a tad too sleepy to give it much thought though, so I let it silently settle as I went to bed. After reading other's opinions about the episode, hearing interpretations about Applejack's behavior, I ended up re-watching "Apple Family Reuinon" before revisiting this one. Main reason for that was to see the scene that hints at their parent's death, but also for a fresh reminder of how AJ has often overdone things. The former could certainly add extra immense depth, yet everything still flows well without it. Plus, AJ expresses how seriously she takes her role as a big sister and how she was the one who wasn't ready (rather than Apple Bloom) from the beginning. All in all, the episode was thoroughly enjoyable the second run through. Really wanted to enjoy it, and now I do
