Also itchiness is a form of pain, however slight, so the scratching feels good the same way it feels good to massage sore muscles. So thats another reason it feels so good to scratch that itch.

How and Why did Celestia come to power?

I think, like many others that Celestia and Luna came to power by defeating Discord. I do think that both Celestia and Luna would hace to prove themselves a bit more before becoming princesses. Because although they have the power, they need to prove they have the dignity and tact to rule. All in all i think they took leadership of Equestria -

I think it would be hard to agree with her at first, but if she told me I would probably start watching Cadence's habits. I would probably then agree with her seeing the princes act so odd. Of course I too might wright it of as nerves because they can do such strange things to someone's mind. So, I guess I could go either way. -
