My name is Allan and I'm a 26 year old male Brony from Scotland in the United Kingdom of Great Britain.
I got into My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic a couple of months back. I had meant to check it out for a long time, I knew it was a huge cult thing and seeing a young chappie with a t-shirt of Rainbow Dash with "Sup Brony?" on it had rather enchanted me. The thing keeping me from finding out about it was that I didn't have the internet. One morning, while heavily intoxicated, as is my want, I checked out the very first episode, The Mare In The Moon.
At first I was skeptical, but after Twilight Sparkle had closed the book, I realised that the animation style was more flash-like. Apart from the mega-cuteness of the colourful ponies and the well written plot, I loved the gags in the show and being terribly honest with you all, I do feel that people abandon who they were when they were younger, so watching cartoons is something that people should rediscover. Above all, ponies just make me so darn happy - and I suffer from clinical depression, so ponies are VERY, VERY important to me.
I just recently finished watching up to the end of Season 3. Read the first part of Fallout Equestria and have just started buying merch. I have one Rainbow Dash shirt, 5 tins of MLP spaghetti shapes, some kiosk ponies (Twilight Velvet, Magnet Bolt, Crimson Gala/Red Gala and Shoeshine) as well as a proper Pinkie Pie. I also intend to check out earlier Pony.
Most people find it pretty odd and yeah, I get some pretty terrible jokes about it being creepy, but it's no more strange than the women who love Spongebob Squarepants. Apart from that, these people point blank refuse to even watch it.
Hobbies. Uh, well, I listen to a lot of music. Mainly Post-Punk, New Wave and 80's, but I look forward to getting plenty of Brony stuff.
Nice to meet you all.
