    Where I grew up, the danger from big thunderstorms was mostly relegated to the power going out, and maybe some flooding. So, when one came, it was generally an event you could enjoy as long as you were safe someplace. I used to and still love them because they can be an awesome display of nature's power, and it's nice to take a backseat for 30 min - 1 hour or so and not have to be the toughest one on the planet.

    I think the following conversions would be *very* likely: Ellen DeGeneres (she digs animation; she'd love this show) Conan O'Brien (he wrote for animation, and would like the writing on MLP: FiM. He also went pretty gently on bronies in a recent skit.) The other writers for The Simpsons (most of them are the type who'd like this show, I think. Also, I want a pony cameo or a Lauren Faust guest-couch-gag animation on the show.) Danica McKellar (she's super smart. And I want her to voice a math-savvy pony on the show.) Hard conversions that might make a difference re: how the show is perceived: Ralph Bakshi John Kricfalusi David Letterman Barack Obama

    The film: Malice. The below is a description from Wikipedia of one of the most eye-roll-inducing moments I've ever seen in a movie: Tracy says they have to get rid of the witness [a young boy] because that is the only bargaining chip that Andy has on them. He refuses and slaps her for suggesting that they murder a young boy. Tracy attempts to pressure him into it but Jed won't go along, so Tracy pulls a gun and shoots him. That night, Tracy waits until the neighbor's nurse next door leaves. She lures Andy away from his house with a misleading phone call, then breaks in and tries to smother the boy. When she wraps cellophane around his face from behind, she realizes that it's a dummy and she has been set up. Andy surprises her. Detective Harris, who was disguised as the nurse, returns and makes the arrest. As Tracy is led away, she sees the boy and his mother return. It is revealed that the boy is, in fact, blind. EDIT: I should add that, if you ever saw this movie, you would exclaim: "Let me guess: the kid will end up being blind" before it's revealed.

    #1 looks confident, yet a little shy. Her beauty is understated. It makes her alluring. #2 is gorgeous. But, I dunno...looks like she'd be more of a dog lover.

    One of the first pictures I ever saw of MLP: FiM outside of the cartoon. I agree with what others have said: RD looks so happy / proud of herself. Really sells the image...

    Maybe too off-topic, but I've thought of scenarios in which the Ponies could make cameo appearances in both The Simpsons and Family Guy. The Simpsons would be pretty straightforward: Lisa, who's never had many friends, contemplates a life completely devoid of them. Fellow egghead Twilight Sparkle shows up near the end of the show to set her straight. (Lisa loves ponies & magic fantasy, and voracious reader Twilight would be her idol at age 8.) Maybe it happens in a dream sequence. Family Guy could have Chris Griffin, who loves to draw, start drawing the Ponies as a hobby, and making Lois worried that he'll never grow up. Maybe Chris is working on a piece of art with the Mane 6, and they start talking to him from the paper...

    If they did, I'm not so sure Trey and Matt would slam Bronies. Slamming other people for slamming Bronies without reason (other than saying it's weird) would make for a better episode because it'd be funnier - not just for MLP: FiM fans, but for everyone. That would also be more in line with the shows modus operandi, I think.

    I would really like there to be a "Breaking Malcolm" skit in which Bryan Cranston, dressed as Walter White in his meth gear, goes back to his Breaking Bad house, opens the door, and instead finds himself in the kitchen of the sitcom Malcolm In The Middle, where the family would ask "Hal" where the hell he's been. The skit would pretty much write itself. Reese would want to help him cook meth (and be his quality control guy by smoking it), Malcolm would flip out about the dangers of meth, complete with scientific jargon, and do a forth-wall look to the camera as if to say "my dad is crazy", and so on. Cranston would only truly crumble after Jane Kaczmarek verbally eviscerated him with some "are you insane?"-type rants and an ultimatum, which would promptly send him back into 100% Hal "yes, dear" character mode. "Good. And that's the last I want to hear about this silly meth business. Reese, stop hitting your brother."
