    I'm so tired. This afternoon, what with the explosions, has exhausted me.

    Explosions at the Boston Marathon finish line. Oh dear god, that's my city. I grew up on that racecourse. Dozens of people have been injured, some of them severely.

      They don't know whether or not it's deliberate, but there were two explosions at the Boston Marathon finish lines. They're saying at least three dead, and children were injured. Boston bomb squad is on the site, and the Antiterrorism is positioning themselves all around the city and major landmarks.

      What is the world coming to? What reason does someone have that makes them want to kill someone? There is no excuse for this if it is deliberate. I don't care if the society has made your life a living hell. There is NO excuse.

    I know, it took me a little bit to understand it too. I think he means that if there were two powerful warring armies, that it would be cool to see the Mane Six settle negotiations instead of bucking it up like they did in The Last Roundup.

    Oooh. Gotcha. So then why wouldn't Luna or Celestia do the negotiations instead of sending in six teenagers? As you said before, they weren't such great shakes at being "Elements of Harmony" in The Last Roundup.

    Super Smash Bros. on N64 is still in my old games collection! Definitely my favorite old multiplayer game. xD Lots of good times with friends - back when having a Nintendo was awesome.

    No offense or anything, but you might want to try writing your posts with a bit more punctuation. xD It took me three reads to understand what you're talking about. Anyway, I like that idea! I also like the idea of Alicorn Twilight needing to negotiate peace between warring armies, since it's something a princess would need to do. Also, I'd love to see the other five give her advice about it. Only problem is that I doubt Celestia and Luna would let two other nations quarrel like that when they're princesses of Equestria.

    So if they're nobility they get a free pass? X.X And if anyone gets all the fillies, it's Fancypants. That dude's got mares all over him, and he's nice about it too. Anyway, this isn't a Blueblood thread. This is a Gilda thread! And I agree with @Silverwisp the Bard, I'd like to know where all that aggression comes from. My headcanon is all griffons are like that, because griffons don't raise their young, they just lay the eggs and split. :3

    I would love to see a Gilda episode where she tries to prank Pinkie Pie back, but they all backfire because of her Pinkie Sense, and the fact she can defy the laws of physics. xD Even if she's not redeemed, I'd like to see more Gilda.

    Wouldn't it be awesome to have a massive comeback from all the episode antagonists? Like Trixie, Gilda, Flim and Flam, and Iron Will? And you're right, , destroying her pedal copter could've killed her! I didn't think of that. o_o

    Off topic: Flim Flam Brothers are my very favorite episode-centric antagonists. <3 I love that song. On topic: I do actually know some people like Gilda in real life, and they are just as rough and annoying, yet nostalgic because you knew them growing up. So I do like her, I just wonder why people despise her so thoroughly. Well, I mean, besides making Fluttershy cry.

    , I'd forgotten about Pinkie's reactions in that episode. It could be argued that Pinkie was just finally happy to have made RD her friend, since it appeared in the beginning of the episode that they didn't like each other very much. I personally think she needs a redemption episode, or at least an episode where she comes back to Ponyville to assist the Mane Six in some way. Hey, that could be an episode! A moral about misjudging people the first time and the need to give them a second chance! Wait, that was the moral of Bridle Gossip. Still, it was a good moral...

    I was wondering everyone's opinion on Gilda Griffon. For me, I pretty much hated her since she made Fluttershy cry, and Pinkie's opinion of her was spot on. But...then I saw this comic... Your thoughts on Gilda? Is her reputation deserved, or does she need a redemption episode in S.4?

    Yeah, PG-13 is pretty risqué, for, well, ponies. Ever see the last Twilight movie? (Don't.) Anyway, I saw it, and it had a lot of stuff for a PG-13. O_e

    It seems like I'm the only one who didn't like this movie...It was cute and all, but I really felt the unnecessary padding in the movie and thought it was really drawn out. Plus, I thought they could have done better leaving the Once-ler faceless, thereby cementing the symbolism that it could be anyone. By giving him a cute character design (thus hooking millions of irritating fangirls) and giving him a backstory, it lost the sucker punch I felt the book gave. I liked the messages - I just think it could have been portrayed better.

    Thank you. It appears we're the only two who've had some contact with child abuse, and funnily enough, we're the two advocating for peace and change instead of violence and torture. (There's symbolism here, but I'm not fully caffeinated enough to figure it out...) I'm sorry for you and your friend. As I've said before, I had a similar problem with my best friend, and it's possibly the most helpless feeling in the world, to be young and unable to prevent something bad from happening to someone you love. People, there's a lot of hate on this thread. A lot of people foaming at the mouth and demanding horrible things to happen to people. But the instant we do that, we become just as bad as they are. We can't solve anything by imitating what they do, but we can start fixing things by trying to see why.
