  1. @@Melke Sole nodded and took the extra scythe "Sounds like a plan, just try not to let me get impaled." He joked, before charging toward the bird-like monster, and threw another orb of chaos magic at it's core. "We're wasting time we don't have to spare on you, Jeeves! Why not save us some time and friggin stay still!" He taunted, as he circled the beast for an opening. Whatever Dyr was doing with those flowers and that odd stance, he hoped it would pay off.
  2. @@Melke (The forums went down right before I could post this last night lol) "Give me a break, I'm like twice your size" he replied, as he stood up and rolled his shoulders with a slight wince. He looked back up at the bird with a glare as it regenerated, piecing itself back together like nothing happened. "That core is pretty Damn tough" he admitted "and it looks like destroying it is the only way to put this sucker down for good." Looking back at her he sighed "I think I can destroy it, if you can give me an opening" he suggested "unless you've got a better idea, that is" he added nonchalantly.
  3. @@Melke Sole was smiling as he took the scythe and twirled it. "Oh, I like this plan" He said, before feeling the magical powerup. Just before he could thank her, the diamond shards rained down on them like a hail of arrows. He did his best to ignore the crystal spears of death as he made a beeline straight for the metallic bird. Utilizing his temporary power boost, he dodged and parried any shards in their path and closed the gap. "Sorry Jeeves, time to carve the turkey" He joked, as he poured chaos magic into the scythe, and swung it straight down, fully intent on cleaving the monster in two.
  4. Can anyone please tell me what the frosting happened to the crystal gems forum?

  5. @@Melke (I'm so sososososo sorry! I never saw your reply for some reason, and I only found it now because I went back and searched for it T.T) Sole wasn't sure how 'creative' He had to be, but he didn't feel that creativity was a strong point for him. "Why can I never just blow things up anymore" he joked, as he focused his magic into his talons. "Let's start things off simple, and see how it goes" he thought to himself, using his magic to form a small ball of pure chaos. "Since he seems inorganic, then I guess it's okay to use this" he said, summoning a fist-sized purple orb and punting it at the beast's head like a soccer ball. "I call it 'Entropy'. Whatever this hits, it'll randomly change the area it touches into something else... probably cotton candy" he explained briefly. "I guess you could say it'll... soften him up a bit" he said, grinning at his own groan-worthy pun.
  6. @@Melke Sole was taken off guard by Dyr's 'favor', and was quickly hooked and pulled inside like a fish. Before he could think of a witty remark, like "ouch" for example, a disembodied voice and the shiny new threat interrupted his train of thought. Looking up at the bird-like monster, his first action wasn't taking up a fighting stance, as he normally would. Instead he laughed right in it's face "Your name's Jeeves? Seriously?" He said between fits of laughter. After another moment or two, he sighed "Damn, I needed to hear that. It's been a while since I've fought something with such a stupid name" he mocked, before cracking his knuckles and preparing for a fight. "Hey, is 'Jeeves' here immune to my magic as well?" He asked Dyr, using the beasts name sarcastically. He all but ignored the voice. They'd have to take care of the present threat first anyways.
  7. Merry Christmas, everyone. Hope y'all have a great day!

Awww you too :3 Merry Christmas!!! <333

  8. (I apologize for my inactivity, I've been pretty busy this week lol) Sole nodded "You don't have to convince me, Dyr. I agree. If we're gonna walk into a trap, we might as well do it intentionally." He said, grinning with anticipation. Whatever awaited them on the road ahead, it'd be much worse then the few skirmishes they've had so far. He couldn't wait to test his power against a being from another dimension. "After you" he said jokingly
  9. @@Melke Even though he approached the ruins confidently, Sole made sure to keep an eye out for any signs of an ambush. The last thing they needed was to get caught. "Other then being the previous home of some powerful magical artifacts, they're just some dusty old ruins abandoned by the local royalty. As far as I know, at least." He said with a shrug. "Maybe he's feeding off of residual magical energy?" He suggested hesitantly
  10. @@Melke As Sole absorbed this new information he nodded "alright then. So as long as I don't get ganked or sent to lala land then your good? That'll be a piece of cake... probably." He said sarcastically, as he tore his eyes away from his own mark and began to walk towards the castle ruins. "So, can you still sense him?" He asked her curiously.
  11. @@Melke Sole sighed in relief and cracked his neck, before jabbing his talon (thumb?) behind him. "This way, not long from here" he said quickly, before noticing the mark on his talon "Sweet, we get a free tat" he said sarcastically. He didn't really care if it was permanent or not. He'd had something similar once before.
  12. @@Melke As the chaos erupted around them, and Dyr spoke the formal request for a contract, Sole couldn't help but grin. This was so cool. "No conditions. You need my help to stay in this dimension, and I need your help to track down that Prospector guy. Dyr, I agree to your contract." He stated confidently. "Who knows" he added "we might even become good friends after this"
  13. @@Melke Sole quickly flew down and landed in front of her, stabbing the blade of the scythe into the ground behind him with his tail. After hearing what she had to say, he was a bit confused, but he was definitely not going to let her disappear. "I'm not sure what you're talking about, but if you need my help, just tell me what I need to do to help" He said bluntly. "We haven't known each other for long, but you seem like a pretty cool cat, so I wanna help you out" he said with a smile, acknowledging the pun as intentional. "So, what do I need to do? Give you some of my energy?"
  14. (I completely brain farted in that post, sorry. I was really really tired when I made it ) "Gee, guess I am a dumbass. They're magic is electricity based, you feathered idiot!" He chastised himself, before catching the wooden scythe. "My bad!" Was the only thing he could think to say in that moment, he knew that was a stupid rookie mistake, so he planned on making it up to his feline partner by cutting the goon to pieces. By amplifying his speed with magic, he was able to intercept the lightning bolt with the flat of the blade, before bringing it down in an arc to cut the crystal creature in half.
  15. @@Missklang Sole dodged all the lasers they shot at him, but he was quickly getting surrounded. Before he could be overwhelmed however, Dyr unleashed her attack. He had just enough time to close his wings and let gravity pull him back toward the earth like a feathered and furry torpedo. Just before he hit the ground, he forced wings open, cutting his fall short and allowing him to swoop back toward the sky with a single powerful flap of his wings. As Dyr had pointed out, there were a few left. Two to be exact. "Aye aye, Cat!" He replied to her sarcastically. However, that was easier said then done. They were on opposite sides, to his left and right, floating dozens of feet away. Not only that, but they were shooting lasers at him again. If he turned to focus on one of them, he'd be leaving his back exposed to the other. 'Alright Sole, just take them out at the same time, without fisticuffs or magic... so how do I do that again?' He thought to himself in annoyance, before having a sudden epiphany. It was still storming. 'That's it, the clouds!' He thought, immediately flying straight up to the nearest thunder cloud. It was a pretty small one, only about 40 feet in radius, but it was large enough for what he intended. "You may be immune to my magic, but your not immune to lightning!" He growled, before punching the dark cloud, forcing two bolts of lightning to surge out and strike the crystal monsters directly. 'Even though I said that, I don't know if it's true. I'm gonna look like a dumbass if I'm wrong' He thought to himself, hoping his plan worked out how he'd planned. That plan being blast these gems to powder.
  16. @@Melke Sole saw what she was doing with the seeds and her shield and thought he understood "They're attracted to light, Kind of like moths to a flame or lightbulb? I think I know how to get their attention" he said quickly, before flying high into the air, and concentrating orbs of raw magic into his talons to use as makeshift lights. "Hey, crystal clods! Bet ya can't catch me" he called to them, as he flew around, trying to get all of them to tail him. 'Whatever she's planning I hope it works' He thought in annoyance, as he narrowly dodged a laser "sheesh, I'm just trying to destroy you guys. You don't have to be so mean~" He said sarcastically
  17. @@Melke As Sole closed in on the castle, he kept an eye on the enemies around them, and for possible enemies in the trees below. The closer they got to the ruins, the more he felt like they were flying right into a trap. "If he hasn't activated his power yet, we should hurry up and take him out now." he said seriously "but first, we need to get rid of these guys. I'll land in that clearing over there, near the ruins, so we can fight them effectively." The way he saw it, even if they were being set up, they couldn't afford not to do something. The longer they waited, the more powerful their enemy became, and the more lives were at stake. It was a risk they had to take.
  18. @@Melke (Once again, I apologize for the lengthy gap between replies. I'm not as active as I used to be.) Sole sighed "No kidding" he replied, as he tilted to the left in time to avoid another laser. "Thanks for the save, by the way. How long will that effect last?" He asked "it's not permanent or anything, is it?" They were almost at their destination now, but the crystalline creatures didn't seem to be slowing down in the slightest. Once they arrived, he'd be more then happy to shatter them into pieces. For now though, he had to worry about getting them both there in one piece.
  19. @@Melke Sole tried to nod in agreement, but the vines made that difficult to do "fly now, kick ass later. Got it" he said sarcastically, before banking slightly to the right just in time to avoid another laser. He doubled his speed, and hoped the enemies had the aim of storm troopers.
  20. @@Melke Sole winced inwardly from the pain, but didn't show any discomfort visibly. Having feathers tugged out is one thing, having them burnt off by a laser, along with a small bit of flesh is on a whole other level. Minor injuries aside, he tried to concentrate on coming up with a plan "So if I get hit once, we're screwed? Okay then, no pressure" he said sarcastically, before chuckling. "Seriously though, I can't do anything to them from a distance, and avoiding long ranged attacks from almost a dozen opponents is going to be a pain. Think you can handle them from a distance, while I focus on flying and dodging?"
  21. @@Melke As she climbed onto his back, Sole was half tempted to crack a joke, but he was cut off as vines suddenly wrapped around his head. He hated them, but he didn't waste time complaining. Instead, he smiled "hold on tight" he warned, before taking off with a single powerful flap of his wings. In a matter of moments, they were flying toward the castle at the speed of sound.
  22. @@Melke Sole was about to open his beak to ask her a question about her nature magic, before he felt the surge of energy. "I'm faster then the average griffin, and I can fly even faster with magic" he said, in reply to her question "It's only a few miles away, I could be there in no time" he assured her, before spreading his wings, ready to take off. Dyr definitely wasn't joking when she said she felt a bad vibe coming from it.
  23. @@Melke Sole nodded in confirmation "yep. My mother was a griffin, and my father is a draconequus. After my mother died, I tracked down my father, and he became my first mentor. He taught me how to control my powers" he explained, as they walked through the forest "though my own version of chaos magic is a bit more focused on combat then causing mischief" he admitted. "And what about you?" He asked "I'm gonna go ahead and guess that you prefer nature magic, right?"
  24. @@Melke Sole was taken a bit off guard by the questions as he walked alongside her, but it didn't upset him. If anything, he was more surprised by her admittance of being at least partially evil. He was quiet for a few seconds, before answering her. "You don't seem all that bad to me" he said with a shrug "as for my name... yeah, sorry I didn't tell it to you sooner. I have a bad habit of forgetting to introduce myself" he admitted. "My full name is Sole Heart, but you can call me Sole. As for where I got my training, that's a bit more complicated. I've had several teachers" he explained quickly. "But enough about me" he said suddenly, changing the subject "where did you learn how to fight?"
