  1. Rainbow Dash This is the sole reason why: who could ever possibly say no to that face? there're versions of other ponies making that expression, but it's not the same...
  2. she's obviously a changeling, not homeless, just keeps her cocoon on the outskirts of the Everfree eventually she will kill RD and impersonate her, living her life
  3. Pinkie's 4th wall breaking is really over-exaggerated... Spike had a couple really obvious 4th wall jokes in Lesson Zero and nobody paid attention, Pinkie's never been that blatant about it
  4. I'd like to see an episode where someone hurts Fluttershy (Gilda?) and Discord completely LOSES IT, and turns their brain into apple sauce.
  5. This was... an odd episode, not much of a plot, and I think it's a good example of how great the show is, that even a rather lackluster episode is still extremely funny and entertaining. I also liked the focus on the CMC just hanging out and having little adventures. Contrast to say... The Cutie Pox or Sisterhooves Social, where they're kind of angsty. Not that that's necessarily bad, just that it's nice to see them relaxed, having fun, and annoying every living creature they come across. But am I the only one who thinks that seeing Twilight turned to stone was one of the most frightening images on the show? The most powerful cast member suddenly rendered completely helpless? Eeeesh.
  6. Sombra could probably give him a run for his money. Assuming of course he isn't totally immune to shadow magic, Sombra's genre savvy enough to outsmart Discord and powerful enough to counter his reality-warping powers.
  7. This was the first episode that really made me laugh out loud, as well as the first episode by the great M. A. Larson, who'd later write some of the best episodes, like Chronicles, RoH, and Luna Eclipsed. I think the whole communication issue is quite well done. It takes the 'Pinkie's so random lol' gag and turns it into a real problem - that she can't get her closest friends to understand her when all of Ponyville depends on it. They're not avoiding the serious implications of a character like Pinkie, in that way this episode is foreshadowing Party of One. Also, am I the only one who realized Twilight's freak-out was a Blazing Saddles reference? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txEbV9A415E
  8. ALL of the Mane 6 look ADORABLE as fillies, but my favourite has to be Rarity. D'AWWW, JUST LOOK AT DAT WIDDLE FACE... Anyways, I discovered something weird in this episode. So, one of the effects of Twilight's magical freak-out is that Spike momentarily becomes a rather grown-up dragon. In other words, an age spell. Two seasons later, we find out age spells are nearly impossible to perform. No wonder Celestia was so impressed, eh?
  9. Applejack is one of the characters that really grew on me. I didn`t like her at first (Southern accents irk me) but her character is just so damn awesome. I love all the main cast, but AJ feels like someone I would really get along with and respect in real life.
  10. thank you for saving me from writing out a response myself I mean if he was on a pony video he clearly just wants attention, so good job, you gave the hater exactly what he wanted
  11. Ships I will never understand: FlutterMac. They'd never DO anything, just look after the fields and animals. DerpyTurner. Just seems like 'pair the spares' to me. SoarinDash. The one named male Wonderbolt gets together with Dash, really? He had like two lines. This feels really forced and contrived. Ships I think are underrated: Trixiejack. In one episode, Trixie tied AJ up and gagged her. Next time around, she wanted AJ to give her a facial, then restrained and tickled her. I'm just sayin'. DashPie. There are SO many great moments between these two. Griffon the Brush-Off, Party of One, Wonderbolt Academy... they are just so sweet together. Pinkie is one of the few characters that brings out Dash's rarely seen mature side. Derpyshy. C'mon. You know you want it. Spitfirilee. Uh, Cheerifire? OK ignore the awkward name. I know it's weird, but these two suit each other really well. Both highly competent and mature workaholics with hidden depths. RariLuna. Once you see it, it's beautiful. They're both unappreciated artists, worried about how others perceive them, and have just enough ferocity to make them interesting. Luna's shy, grounded nature complements Rarity's airheaded yet caring attitude. Luna needs someone to fawn over her and Rarity needs a strong, sensitive, knight in shining armour. They would be so good for each other. And of course, the greatest OTP of all time: Gummy/Tank.
  12. Eh, having a non-Ledger Joker would either result in a different performance ruining the point of including the Joker in the first place, or a watered-down imitation. Frankly I think that film was too long anyway, and with Scarecrow, , and Alfred all needing more development and screentime cramming Joker in would just make a bigger mess. They should've included a throw-away line about him dying in prison or something so he doesn't simply vanish though.
  13. I've got an above-average intelligence and I don't talk very much. It's not about being 'deep' or 'wise' necessarily, or being uncomfortable speaking. For me it's just because I don't really have anything I need to say, and I don't like chit-chat very much. Big Mac has no problem speaking when he has something he needs to say.
  14. I have a genetic disorder that makes it easy for me to dislocate/subluxate my joints, when I was a kid I used to subluxate my knees every so often, that was pretty painful. It wore off quickly, but it was pretty scary knowing that a small twist or blow would leave me unable to move, clutching my knee in pain. I haven't done it in years now, but I'm still sensitive around my knees. Oddly, I've dislocated my shoulder twice, and both times there was no pain whatsoever. Just felt mildly uncomfortable.
  15. how is this an unpopular opinion? actually liking the ending would be an unpopular opinion, heh (IMO the original ending (pre-EC and Leviathan) was weak, but the worst part of the game is definitely the horrible journal)
  16. pretty good actually, ears are set a little too high and eyes are set a little too far back, but it looks really nice, lots of character in the face
  17. Skunks are freaking ADORABLE. Particularly baby skunks. Look: HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE THEM? ...ahem. Anyways. More opinions. I really hate the Derpy/Dr. Hooves shipping. It doesn't make any sense, there's no justification for it in canon, and I've never seen anyone do anything interesting with the idea. Mysterious Mare Do Well was a fairly good episode. Everyone makes a big deal over Dash's friends' trickery, when it was really just a harmless way to teach by example instead of lecturing. And everyone made a big deal over how Dash acted out for attention, when that selfish side of her already surfaced in Best Night Ever. Really I have no idea why this episode pushes everyone's buttons so badly, but it gets a lot of undeserved flak. Scootaloo was a really bland character until Sleepless. She was just a miniature RD. I think Dave Polsky's the worst writer on the show. The only episode he worked on that I really liked was Too Many Pinkie Pies, and he wrote two of my least favourite episodes (Feeling Pinkie Keen and Games Ponies Play). I really don't care about Equestria Girls. Not going to see it, but I'm not letting it affect my enjoyment of the show. Sombra is a better villain than Chrysalis. He's scarier, smarter, actually tried to stop the heroes instead of just monologuing until they defeated him, and defeated Shining Armor in a 1v1 fight. Chrysalis had the worst invasion plan ever and barely tried to stop Twilight from escaping, unlike Sombra, who managed to trap her TWICE while still being miles away from her. Gilda was a bad character. Lighting Dust is the same character done a thousand times better. OK, that's all I've got for now. FLAMESHIELDS ENGAGED.
  18. Lots of people enjoy seeing those, in fact with Dead Space there are a few particularly gruesome kills that are almost impossible to get if the player doesn't intentionally let themselves die. And it's not like this is showing up in Animal Crossing. If you're playing Dead Space you should be a fan of jumpscares and gore. Likewise if you're playing Mass Effect, you should anticipate dramatic death scenes for characters you've taken the time to know and love. As long as game devs know their audience there shouldn't be any problem.
  19. except canterlot wedding sucked and um... yes turning into a demon is kid-like Sleeping Beauty Aladdin Road to El Dorado just off the top of my head would like to see you explain how 'love and tolerate' means 'go see a movie I'm not going to like' and how that means I'm giving bronies a bad name
  20. Cookies are better than muffins. Waffles are better than pancakes. Hazelnuts are disgusting. Sweetie Belle is best CMC. Zecora's an overused character.
  21. Music Man is WAAAAAAAAY better than Rain. Paul McCartney never regularly performed a song from Singin' in the Rain. Jus' sayin'.
  22. I only gave MLP a chance when 50% of the internet said how awesome it was unless you're one of the very few 4chan users who watched it at the beginning, same applies to you I need a REASON to give it a chance, something to counter the many reasons it looks bad (RD in a skirt, Twilight's boyfriend, prom crap)
  23. Dedicated PC gamer here, thinking of getting a PS4. The backwards compatibility is a big plus for me, since I never had a PS3. Add on a long list of great exclusives, and yeah. It's very tempting. I have a ton of PC games to enjoy first though.
  24. here is the short answer: no here is the much longer answer: noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo in addition, nuh-uh to summarize: nope
  25. Nirvana's a good band, but that's it. When they're at their best, they're awesome, but like 90% of their music is just bland. And there are a LOT of people who think Nirvana's the greatest thing ever. pretty much my opinion as well, it's nice, but just doesn't have the same depth as most of their others, even Pablo Honey is longer and has catchier songs.
