  1. Sure; I have a few leaked versions that I will upload soon. Also, sorry I haven't been updating this post - if anyone wants anything updated, I can do so.
  2. Put the Tor Browser Bundle on a flash drive; they can't ever stop you then unless they are far more tech savvy than any parents I know. Still, it's technically impossible to completely block Tor without unplugging the internet as long as you know what is restricted, cuz Tor can work around anything with a bit of technical knowledge and input.
  3. Just as a backup, I will be keeping this thread here... I might soon make a site of some kind dedicated to it for ease of use. Anything else been deleted that I've missed lately?
  4. Definitely worth it. An emotional rollercoaster ride not afraid to tackle huge real world and personal issues, despite being a fanfic. Some of the best characterization I have ever read in any book, including published ones. A story that builds until it reaches startlingly epic proportions and the fate of the world hangs in the balance. On the flip side, a lot of potentially objectionable content, including tons of language, disturbingly detailed violence, and (if you read Chapter 20.5, which is canon but not included in most postings of the main story but is included in all printed copies) a semi-graphic sex scene. None of this comes close to bothering me, as it is all for a very definite purpose and not attempting to be offensive for the sake of being offensive, but I know some people take objection to it. As I said before, one of my favorite books of ALL time, but beware the length, as you will get sucked in. Definitely deserves at least one read if you have the time, though, regardless of your knowledge of Fallout (none is necessary). EDIT: Also, full soundtrack here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLE7D1054465810EE3
  5. This is one of the best stories I have ever read, let alone fanfics. And not only does Kkat make no profit at all off of this, but Hasbro has no plans for publishing anything similar, thus they will not take it down. Also fair use (maybe?). EDIT: Also, it would be amazing if Dr. Dissonance were to release CDs of the soundtrack for Fallout: Equestria through CreateSpace. Maybe I will message him on Youtube.
  6. Placed an order for the first volume...we will see how it goes. I plan on posting a video or some sort of review when I receive it on Wednesday. ------------------------------------------------- Just got my book today, and the quality is very good. It looks very professional. The one problem that I have with it is the fact that the original, unrevised text was used for these printings, and thus a couple of typos appear. Nothing too horrible is wrong with the book, and it is a very nice hard cop of one of the finest fics ever written. Bottom Line: Buy it. It is ridiculously cheap for the quality.
  7. So, I know Past Sins and Fallout: Equestria have gotten prints, but has any other amazing pony fan fiction been made into a physical format? (/mlp/'s clop doesn't count) I would pay money for a physical copy of Background Pony for sure, and maybe a few other works. By the way, if you haven't heard, 3/5 volumes of Fallout: Equestria in softcover are available on Amazon for ~$8 per volume + Prime/super saver shipping. The other 2 will be released soon. I get my copy of the first volume tomorrow. I would love to contribute money towards awesome community members and get some physical merch in the process, so if printed fanfics are available, I would love to buy them (assuming quality). By the way, writers should really start using CreateSpace, cuz it's awesome and way cheaper than other printing methods, plus it's on demand. That's what the softcover print of FoE is using.
  8. Possibly, but later. Working on internship applications and scholarship renewal/application. I will continue to update this thread regardless. Let me know what else I should archive.
  9. What is the link for the Mentally Advanced Ep. 11? It isn't on the playlist...currently downloading Ep. 1, though. Should have most of those episodes uploaded by the end of the day. EDIT: Aaaaannd...thread revision. New links in the original post. UPDATE: Most of the Mentally Advanced Series that isn't available in the US has been uploaded. Let me know if I forgot anything; I am currently downloading Episode 12 to upload since it seems to be missing from the US Youtube. EDIT 2: Whoops...didn't realize Episode 11 didn't exist.
  10. I'll get on that FiMFlamFilosophy and The Mentally Advanced Series as soon as I get some sleep. Good to know some people are using the downloads. Feel free to spread the links around. Probably will update the thread title to just "Pony Archive" as well to indicate that I am archiving more than just FiW.
  11. Considering Feld0 brohoofed my comment on the news thread, I don't think it will be locked. Let me know if I forgot anything. q
  12. This thread is for the archiving of Pony-related fan works that have been removed from Youtube, etc. by Hasbro. Currently, the entire Friendship is Witchcraft series as well as the deleted MLP Online demo are archived here. Everything is uploaded in the highest available quality. Due to the large size of some videos, downloads may be in multiple parts. A program such as the freeware 7-Zip is required to open these multi-part files. Note: I do not own any of these videos. The copyright is owned by the original creators, and, if video from FiM is used, Hasbro. The official site of Friendship is Witchcraft can be found at http://sherclop.com/ Master Link (Folder with All Pony Stuff) Currently Uploading: none Table of Contents: SherclopPones (Friendship is Witchcraft) FiMFlamFilosophy (The Mentally Advanced Series and Rainbow Dash Presents) Pony-related Games (MLP Online demo)
  13. Care to give us more information about this fanfic before we say yes? I would probably read it eventually; I'm a fast enough reader. I couldn't guarantee extremely quick results, but I would get you feedback.
  14. This is a concept based on an idea I had years ago that I just found a rough draft of in a stack of papers. Read below if you are interested, but the spoilers are real spoilers, so you've been warned. How far I get with the actual story will be determined by the interest that people here show, although I will have way too much time on my hands this summer, so I may continue it regardless. Be warned that the spoilers are very much spoilers, so don't read them if you don't want to know. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Demons occupy another dimension. Demons exist in a sort of larval form in which they shapeshift in order to frighten people and draw positive energy out of their bodies. These larval demons inhabit a school or academy until they find their masters. The frightening/drawing out energy serves a dual purpose: in addition to providing a demon with sustenance, it enables him or her to find a master: upon coming into physical contact with their future master, their body will react and transform into their true form (which looks near-human). Upon discovering their true master, demons return to the academy or school with their masters. Humans almost always have no knowledge of demons and magic and thus new masters must be taught from scratch. The protagonist is a girl who has been secluded from regular human life for the entirety of her existence because Despite being home to mostly demons, the humans of the demon world are much more powerful in general than the demons and have regulated demons to the position of animals. This unfair treatment is a huge surprise to the protagonist, who resists this treatment for her own partner with every action. The story is a social commentary on the evils of racism, sexism, and prejudice of all kinds. ---------------------------------------------------------------- So let me know what you think and I will get to writing the actual story soon enough.
  15. Because of FiM, I recently started wondering if there are any other good animated shows outside of the REALLY mainstream stuff (Family Guy, etc.) that I have missed due to being outside of their target audience as well as not watching TV at all. Are there any other shows that deserve recognition like FiM got but didn't get any?
