  1. Does she have a boyfriend? If not, I may ask her out on a date-she's very cute. Great job man.
  2. I would be fine. As a Gunslinger of the line of Eld, I am equipped to deal with fantasy scenarios of every description. My theory would be-if there's a way in there has to be a way out-or maybe a way across to one of the less sucky universes where ponies and bunnies frolic in the sun.
  3. I don't know man-It's hard enough keeping track of all the characters now-how will it be if some of them are in what amounts to a completely diffeent world? Imo there's enough character development with the one's we've got already to keep the show going for years, and obviously people have cottoned on to the show in an unprecedented fashion. If it ain't broke...

Yep-that's pretty much what I said too.

  5. O.k-I'm down. Seriously-it wasn't that long ago that society couldn't handle people of different colors marrying each other. Most places still won't allow same sex marriage-even though the poor bastards have the same tax burden as the rest of us-yet are not entitled to the same benefits in our so-called 'enlightened' society...anyhow, I'm getting sidetracked; How do you imagine most regular people would react to a union like this? They'd freak, bcause it doesn't fit in with what they consider to be normal-failing to realize that 'normal' is a perception which is continually in flux.
  6. Nah. That's just being thrifty. Nothing like nicking straws.
  7. Forgiveness can only be earned by you constructing a pony out of the thousands of straws you must have by now, then posting a picture here of said pony. Redemption awaits-get building.
  8. I have seen the man of which you speak-Wingnut by name. Seen him very well.
  9. So, How are you keeping, my dreadlocked pony friend?

Probably won't be anytime this month, but I think I'll eventually give the morning routine a shot - after all, if there's anyone I'd trust as an authority on working out, it's you. I think more than anything, the challenge will lie in actually *getting* out of bed that early, but I guess once I finally got into the swing of it, it'd become less and less difficult.

It's like anything else-you get used to what you consistently do, and your body responds accordingly. There are pros and cons to any time of the day being the time you train-it all depends on your lifestyle. But quality sleep isn't anything to sacrifice-besides anything else, your muscles do a lot of their recovering and healing while you're asleep. Any help I can ever give you, just drop me a line Bro. We're all on the path together.

      Will do, man. :)

  10. I Used to have to go to the end of the garden and cut a switch off of the tree. And God help me if it wasn't big enough-dad would go cut one for me, and I'd get twice the beating. I got thrown across the room, kicked-you name it. He even put me in a choke hold once and made me pass out. The weird part about it was that when I was getting bullied in school, and went to him to teach me to fight back, he wouldn't. When I asked if I could go to boxing training, he forbad me to go. I went anyway, then started Goju-Ryu and Zen-Do-Kai. Started lifting too. The next time he threw me I tucked into a roll and came back at him. I'll never forget the look on his face. He beat the crap out of me, but I got a couple of good flush shots in-and he never touched me again after that. It sounds bad, but it made me who I am today-and it's kept me motivated in my lifting and fight training, making me a good protector for my family. I don't ever want to be weak and defenceless again, and I train my ass off to make sure I'm not.
  11. Bloody hell! Could you turn your horn down a bit-I'm trying to sleep here.
  12. Good to meet you-nice swag! Hope you take time to check these boards out-the folks here are awesome! See you around town!
  13. I appreciate the vote of confidence, but you seriously don't want to see the mutants I produced. The poor things looked like Salvadore Dali had run them out on a particularly bad acid trip. Like Clint said: 'A man's got to know his limitations'.
  14. Looks good to me-you really caught Hooves nicely there. Mac is also very well done. I did give this a try a couple of times-it just isn't in my wheelhouse i'm afraid. Still enjoy checking out you guy's progress tho. Well done!
  15. I know that it's fan art of a sort, but I'm rather protective over my little friends-and don't like to see them portrayed like that. Not a fan of the clop stuff either-imo the show attracts because real life is full of violence and hate-and the show is an escape from it. I feel that there's enough violent art out there without taking this happy little show and defiling it as well.
  16. I grew up with vinyl being the only medium available to buy music in. Hell, I remember when CDs first came out-one of the first albums available on CD in England was 'Brothers In Arms' by Dire Straits. I still love vinyl-although it's probably more of a nostalgic thing for me as opposed to real or perceived superior sound quality. I like the crackles and pops you get with vinyl-takes me back to being a kid.
  17. Kind of a crappy day. Time for a Mare-A-Thon I think.

Eh-I'm already doing better than earlier. Just the overworked blues is all. NBD. We all chew on that dirt to one extent or another.

Most certainly...I've got a constant mouthful, myself. But a workout followed by dinner, a beer and ponies usually puts me in a brighter mood. :)

I'm starting to think we were separated at birth Lowline.

  18. As a follow up-Artemis may have convinced me to go to the next Con. And they said it couldn't be done.

Well, here's the post he made that got me thinking about it-http://mlpforums.com/topic/68804-bronycon-2013-experiences-pictures-discussion/page-4#entry1731075

I guess the adults were all down the pub drinking Irish beer when the videos were shot. We'd probably have a blast.

Be sure and check out Chaotic Discord's post also-he has a video of them making the Larson Bomb banner in the middle of it-you get to see everyone interacting together on it. Really cool.

  19. As I said, I thought it couldn't be done. The spectre of being the creepy old guy amongst a bunch of kids-no thanks. I'd really like to meet the folks on the forums in person-it seems that we have a lot in common in most cases. And thanks in advance for the drink my brother-I'll get the next one.
  20. @@Artemis Well, you may just have achieved what I thought was impossible. You've made me interested in going to a con. Thanks for taking the time to share what was obviously a special time for you. I guess I was concerned that I would be perceived as kind of a weirdo if I went-especially after seeing the videos of the events. So many kids, so few adults. I guess I never considered that the adults would be down the pub hanging out. Who knows-Maybe we'll have a drink together at the next one.
  21. Wow. I can only second what @~Chaotic Discord~ said-There is a ton of content out there, even for MLP purists who dont like Equestria Girls. There's fan art, show discussion of every sort and a general attitude of friendship in the ever expanding fandom. Of course the show is a big part of the fandom-but i'd say that it's also grown beyond the sum of it's parts if you would only look outside of your seemingly pretty narrow focus.
