  1. Yes, provisionally. The thing that stood out most to us are the twin abilities ragestar and voidstar, which, despite their drawbacks, are simply too overpowered for our current roster to accept in this RP without edits. They'll have to be edited considerably before Crimson Grinn is accepted. Once that's done, however, you're in, and free to join the Slice of Life, or jump right to a battle.

On a side note, some RP'ers in Bangcolt have made note of your characters central focus on his wife and kids. After a long decision, you've been given permission to both include them and play them in Bangcolt as well, if you wish.

Oh, I can just restrict Crimson from using Ragestar or Voidstar, it's no issue.

Also, Vanylla isn't my OC, she's my friend's OC. So I can't play her in the RP.

  2. @@BEWARB,

So, question about your OC. What's the status of his wife? It seems like if he were in the RP, for character consistency she'd be there too which in my personal opinion, wouldn't mind having the both seeing as you can clearly create and manage an OC. So, kudos. I'll say I'm impressed, he was a bit cliche but still composed very well.

I don't believe I have the authority to call you in or out unless I'm told otherwise, but as far as I'm personally concerned, you'd be in XD Just curious about his wife...

Thanks! And yeah, I know his backstory and CM story and everything are full of old cliches, but I originally typed that up nearly 3 years ago, and haven't really updated his backstory much since. As for his wife, I'm not the one who controls her, nor am I the one who created her. That honor would go to my friend, SimplyRarity (she may or may not have changed her name).

And not only is he married, but he also has three kids, whom were all made by SimplyRarity.

  3. Is this RP still free to join? Because I may be interested, if you'll have me. My OC's profile link is located in my sig, if you wanna take a look.

NOTE: I haven't gotten around to updating his info, so his CM story is a bit... edgelord, to be quite honest. Also, before anyone asks; no, he is not a bad guy or a villain of some kind. Despite his very bloody beginnings, Crimson is actually quite friendly.

  4. Honestly, I doubt it. Your info on your page says that you joined this year, and I've been extremely inactive this year. I used to go by the name Ragestar, or RAGE, until I changed it to what it is currently. :P

So I honestly see no reason why I'd be familiar to you, unless your a big role player and you happened to be scrolling through some older RPs I was in. But if I am familiar to you, then cool! XD

  5. 1/10

Sorry, I don't know you. Mostly because I don't really interact the newer members all that often. Although, its understandable that you don't know me, because I haven't been on much this year. I mostly lurked around the RP section, anyway, so I'm not very famous to begin with.

  6. The reason most people here won't recognize me is for two reasons; 1, I've changed my username and avatar (though my profile page is still the same) and 2, because I mostly stuck around the RP section (but I haven't RPd here in forever...)

    Oh, and 7/10 I know who you are, but I don't know much about you. Sorry... ^^;

  7. then why are you even responding

the connection is there, and very strong.

What connection? The show is nothing like any of those cartoons. The only similarities that come even close is with Scott Pilgrim, due to its random silliness.

On another note; I just binge-watched every episode (so far) of Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and I friggin love it!! Its random and hilarious, with interesting and fun characters. My favorite character so far is Star, because of her hyperactiveness and bubbly attitude. She can be devious...but adorable, too, lol.

I also love how there is a growing, underlying plot! Its growing and becoming more prominent and focused on that plot as it goes along, a bit like how Steven Universe did during its earlier episodes.

  8. Manga is better, imo. The plots are more diverse and unique, the characters are more deep and don't completely change, edit, or remaster their backstory/personality every few years. Also, 9.5/10, they are more consistent. Most mangaka, and their team, stay with a franchise until its done. With comics, its come and go, every few years, changing details about the story and traits of characters with revolving writers, like freaking clockwork.

That, and the art styles and fight scenes are better, as well. At least, that's how I feel about it...but hey, what do I know?

  9. Sorry it's taken so long for me to get the requested OCs done! I made the mistake of letting my brother borrow my computer when my computer was on low battery, and he lost the stupid charger and I had to get a new one. Because posting images is not working, I'm going to upload the OCs on this thread. I have the first 3 done! Here they are:

    It looks awesome!! Thanks!! ^^

  10. "I might die, but at least I lived a full life...my only regret is that I won't get to see my kids grow up...I wish I could see my family one...last...time..."

*Stands up, legs wobbling as he ignites his body in white flames*

"Even if I am destined to die, I'm still gonna defeat you! I won't let you go on to hurt even more innocence...now come on!! Lets go out in a blaze of glory!!"

  11. You haz comic geek friends? :o Where did you captu- err I mean find these friends at?

That's interesting because it seemed like he had a stunted education and ended up learning more and becoming more normal as part of the Teen Titans Team.

Idk, they just kinda found me, lol.

And thats because they were using a different version. Comic book characters have many different incarnations.

Ok, First of all, how the hell can you compare Steven Universe to Korra? O_o

2nd, You want an example of new cartoons that don't suck?

    1. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

    2. Dan VS

    3. Littlest Petshop

    4. Gravity Falls

    And the list goes on.

Hey, Steven Universe can be random and annoying, true, but its simply not comparable to a cartoon like Uncle Grandpa. Also, SU has a unique, interesting story, and a lot of likeable and fun characters. Its not as good as Gravity Falls, but its not horrible, either. Actually, its quite good, in my opinion. Once you get past some of the more slow or bizzar eoisodes, it gets really good.

  12. Adventure Time, I get why people think that. But Steve U... I dare you to watch the episodes Mirror Gem and Ocean Gem... I think you will be impressed. B)

Anyways, as for Uncle Grandpa... I find that it's the kind of show that you can enjoy if you just shut off your brain for a little while. I don't particularly like that in a show, but I have enjoyed some episodes of UG. TTG, on the other hand... that monstrosity is flat out terrible. The only time I ever came close to enjoying it was its MLP parody, and then it was still really bad.

TTG was made for the sole purpose of marketing a once quality, popular comicbook cartoon to the very young audiences of today, in hopes of similar results. Instead, we get unfunny slapstick, completely out of character Titans, and a big middle finger to the great characters, story and fans. Bad show is bad.

Nice avatar, btw. Gravity Falls is best cartoon!!

  13. When he was with the Doom Patrol I don't think he got a real education. IDK i haven't really read that arc but it seems like they crippled him in knowledge.. probably thru excessive training.

Does BB go under any aliases when he becomes an adult hero? Also haven't seen much about Raven either.

Well, I honestly don't know of his adult life or persona. I don't read the comics, yet I know a bit about them and his original personality, due to comic geek friends, lol.

In the original comic, he got a normal education and was raised by his parents until he was about 10 or 12, iirc. In fact, his family was rich, believe it or not, lol.
