  1. There is really only one character I desperately want to see make a return in this movie. Please Insomniac...do not disappoint me.
  2. Ghost/Steel would be SO broken if it ever happened. Only two, 2x weaknesses as opposed to three immunities, five 2x resists, and one 4x resist. If you take into account the likelihood of the ghost Pokemon having levitate, the Ground type weakness becomes an immunity, leaving it weak to only Fire type moves. ...I want it.
  3. I realize that, but it is convinient to see all of this collected data in one place, instead of having to manually check every profile. Wow, that is awesome!
  4. A few years ago, my lifelong buds and I used to regularly play Magic The Gathering every Friday night. We had a core group of four, as well as two of my own friends from my high school days that would regularly join us. One of those friends was Ethan, a relatively shy one but loyal nonetheless. One week, he texted us that he was running late. We thought nothing of it at first, but Ethan never showed up. After that day, he cut off all forms of communication with us, and we never heard or saw from him again. I do not understand how or why this happened, and suspect I never will.
  5. Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there. This will be the last Mothers Day I spend with my mom before moving out in July. Manly tears will be shed, this much I know. My father is leaving on a fishing trip later today so we all went out to dinner last night at a local Ecuadorian restaurant, my treat. I also wrote my mother a heart-felt farewell letter, and bought her a $250 gift card to Ross as she loves being frugal.
  6. Ooo...awesome thread. Here is a rock remix of "U.N. Owen Was Her?" from the Touhou series. It is probably one of the (if not the) most recognizable songs from this franchise. I have provided the original, as well as the cover.
  7. That is a smart move, and specifically why I am not asking for an exact age. Also, now I am feeling a little old...haha Where are all of the older Bronies hiding?
  8. I am curious as to the general age group of those who post on these forums. Please, do not feel obligated to participate if you do not want to. Votes are not public. Unless you are absolutely comfortable with it, I would also suggest not posting your exact age, or any other personal information for that matter. That is irrelevant to this thread. Cheers.
  9. Wait what? The only people I have seen bashing on Black/2 & White/2 in general are the nostalgia-fags who loathe anything that is not Generation I and II.
  10. It is probably not a good idea to start off a thread about your favorite sport by inadvertently bashing one of the most popular sports in the world. Having spent eight years of my life playing American Football, four of them as the varsity starting center for my high school team, I love both playing and watching football. Oddly enough, I also enjoy playing and watching golf as well.
  11. I do not have any set in stone rules to live by; I have morals. The problem with rules is that they are rigid, and cannot be applied to every situation that may arise. Your rules are full of inconsistensies and oversights that you are probably not aware of. It almost sounds as if you are trying to live without making mistakes, and that simply will not happen. Part of being human is the inevitability that you will sometimes make mistakes. Where good morals come into play, is how you handle those mistakes and learn from them. Better yourself as a person by overcoming your mistakes, but do not attempt to supress your humanity in the process.
  12. There is so much butthurt over other peoples' taste in music in here. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Personally, I do not give a rat's ass about the "science" of music. That notion is just plain silly to me. The only thing that I care about is whether or not the music sounds good, plain and simple. Skrillex has produced some music that I like, and some that I do not. The same goes for pretty much every artist or band out there. My opinions concerning musicians are not derived from the music that they produce, but rather their overall character.
  13. The issue is that it was never scary to begin with, in my opinion of course. Also, there are definitely horror games out there that do not rely on heavily scripted events. Many of the creepier elements of the STALKER series can be attributed to the randomly generated open world. Also, Naughty Dog's upcoming survival horror game, The Last of Us, makes use of both an adaptive AI that reacts to the player's approach to combat or stealth, as well as randomly generated enemy spawns. Even Left 4 Dead, while not technically a horror game, makes use of a great in-game mechanic (The Director) to randomize enemy spawns as well as other elements of the game to maximize player tension. These are things we need to start seeing more of in horror games. I am not going to dismiss A Machine for Pigs until it has been released and I have had a chance to play the game myself, but I am very skeptical based on what I have seen of it thus far. Also...pigs. I cannot even begin to conceive any ways to make a pig frightening at all. ._.
  14. I personally believe Amnesia is one of the most overrated horror games of recent memory. The entire sequence of the game is one long scripted event, and once you realize this all of the fear goes away. For the most part, Gatherers only spawn when certain events are triggered by the player. I will say that Amnesia does provide a great sense of atmosphere and immersion, and because of this the game is definitely 'creepy' at times. However, the game is not scary. Amnesia is an unfortunate victim of being a decent survival horror game that was given far too much attention by overreacting YouTubers.
  15. This is an oddly specific question, and to be honest I love both cartoons about the same. I will say that as a child, Animaniacs did not appeal to me. It was not until I was older and able to understand some of the more adult references in the cartoon that I really began to appreciate the humor and writing.
