That tends to be what happens when you hurt people's pride. Not that I'm personally accusing you of anything but just saying. Doesn't matter if it happens directly or indirectly, good intentions or bad if intended at all.

*shrug* What can I say? Whenever I see somebody constructing a monument to their own ego, I feel it's my civic duty to topple it. Some may see me as an asshole for it - and they're probably right - but somebody has to say the emperor has no clothes. Telling people the things they don't want to hear, while perhaps hurtful, is my well-intentioned (and probably misguided) way of bringing people back down to earth. *vie, I guess. It'd be nice to live in a world where everybody likes me, but if that means abandoning my principles? No deal.
