  1. Lord, my coworker irritates me. What grown-ass man swivels around in his chair like a 5-year-old in a professional work environment? -_-

There is a time and a place to act childish and it sure as hell isn't during work, lunch or break time on the other hand I don't care but well I don't want to be cleaning up someones mess because they weren't doing their job. Most stuff like that dosen't happen where I work, but there has a been a couple of occasions where baggers have left trash on the check stands and that is one of the quickest an easiest ways to piss me off. Being a backup checker in addition to a dair...

...dairy clerk already puts me a bad mood so shit like that had on a couple of occasions made me lose my temper.

It's like the man said: "Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice. Pull down your pants, and slide on the ice".

  2. You're very welcome! Bit of a selfish question, I guess, but would you mind terribly if I uploaded this to my deviantart? I'll be sure to credit you as the creator of the OC.
  3. Normally this would have taken me a couple more days, but upon learning it was 's birthday, I made a point to have it finished today. Hope you had an awesome birthday, and I hope you like! The color palette I got from her profile page was a little too harsh on the eyes in terms of brightness, so I desaturated it a bit to mute the intensity a bit...i-if that's okay with you...
  4. Kinda want to participate in No Shave November...but don't want to look like a total slob for an entire month. What to do, what to do...

Forget looking like a slob. I don't want the itch that comes with letting it grow. :/

      @Art

Yeah, the itch was terrible enough the first time I let my goatee and 'stache grow out. Can't imagine having that feeling all over my neck. XÞ

  5. Not counting my three estranged half sisters (my biological dad got around), I grew up with two older half sisters and one full-blooded little sis...not that "bloodedness" is something I care about one way or the other, but others are mentioning it, so I might as well. -My eldest sister is generally pretty chill - which is to be expected from a pothead - and we get along pretty well even though I only see her once every couple of weeks. She's probably the one I look up to the most, being the original source of my own sense of humor and just an overall inspiration. -My other older sister and I have a rockier relationship. I don't hate her or anything, and we've always got along well enough, even though she's kind of a high-strung prima donna. But lately she's been giving me a ton of shit about being a brony, calling me "gay" and just about every other bit of ignorant nonsense you'd expect from someone who hasn't quite made it to the 21st century with the rest of us. We're not currently on bad terms, and it'll stay that way just as long as she keeps her mouth shut about my hobby. -My little sis, simply put, is just awesome. We used to fight ALL the time when we were younger, but nowadays we're basically BFFs...as cheesy as that is to admit. I'm the first one she comes to when she's got a problem, and vice-versa. We constantly reference silly TV and movie quotes from when we were little, so we've got a ton of inside jokes between us. We also have a tendency to make hideous faces at each other, often making a contest out of it. She was the first to find out I was a brony and, despite some initial teasing, is very supportive about it and has even checked the show out for herself. She's positively awesome.
  6. Enjoy your extra hour of sleep tonight, my fellow 'Muricans...as well as the 5:00PM sunsets from here on out. Nighty-o!

      I know I'll enjoy it! Nigthy-o Thrashy!

  7. Doesn't sound like much of a problem, it just might take a few days since I'm only free to work on this sort of stuff in the evenings. (Unless I want to slack off a bit at work to doodle the pencil drawing when nobody's looking, which is more than likely what I'll do. ) I'll PM you for further details.
  8. The one that readily jumps to mind is fish sticks - as a kid I'd just shovel them down with loads of ketchup, but now the thought of eating them just makes me cringe. I guess another thing I've outgrown are certain breakfast cereals, namely Cocoa Puffs, Sugar Smacks and Quisp. Wouldn't say I hate them, exactly, but they're definitely at the bottom of the list whenever I'm looking for cereal at the store.
  9. Thank you kindly, sirs! Sentiments like these certainly give me some incentive to keep drawing. Thanks, glad you like my designs! And yeah, the leg joints have always been really confusing to me, especially the fore legs. It's not so bad when I'm just drawing a pony standing on all fours, but when one is doing something with their fore legs, I'm never quite sure where joints should fall. Thanks! And I'm sure you could do good art, given some time - just gotta practice and keep at it. To be honest, the first few ponies I ever drew came out looking like some kind of mutants. XD Anyway, I'm not too big into requests to the point where I'd open up my own 'request shop' thread, but I'll occasionally be free enough to give them a try, if people really like my (cheap imitation of Faust's) style that much and want me to do something for them. If you have something in mind, let me know and I'll be glad to take a crack at it.
  10. Latest upload (05/24 & 05/25): OC: Inclement Blitz; OC: Brechard A'ight, so I made me an art thread over at Everypony and thought to myself, "Hey, self, why not at MLPF?" ...Well, I came up with a couple of reasons why - biggest one being that I could never measure up to the amazing artists on these boards such as Motion Spark, Kenniks, KitKat, CITRUS KING46, et al. - but I guess since I've already gotten some positive responses from folks at EPF, I might as well throw my proverbial fedora into the artist's ring around here as well. That said, if you like what you see, feel free to subscribe to this thread...I mean, i-if that's okay... If you don't like what you see, then I honestly can't blame you. Now, wizzout furzer ado, I geeve to you: Classic Thrashy (which some of you have probably already seen about a bajillion times by this point): A vector of @Ampharos's OC, Thinkin' Inks: A vector of 's OC (don't remember ever getting her name...) My first OC, Flurry Frostworks: Flurry again, wearing a dress so horrid that Rarity would immediately faint at the sight of it: Le Thrashy, keeping cool (a.k.a. "failed mustache experiment"): Thrashy is not amused (now with 100% more tail!): And that's about all I've got for now. I'll update this thread as I make more arts. Love and peace, yo.
  11. I don't know about "produce", but I could see her easily being usurped by a new queen, similar to how a new queen bee will supersede the old queen when the latter has outlived her usefulness. After suffering such defeat, I highly doubt the changelings still look favorably upon her as a leader, and I could totally see her authority being challenged by a disgruntled changeling who thinks she could do better, leading to Chrysalis eventually being dethroned. If something like this were to happen, it's possible that it could force Chrysalis into a position of trying to convince the ponies to let her help them ward off the new queen's attack, as I'm sure she wouldn't exactly be happy with her demotion and would do almost anything to be top dog again. Interesting episodes would come out of such a scenario, to be sure.
  12. A couple of weeks ago my little sis came home from Hot Topic with this for me: ...And yeah, I do wear it all the time, in case you were wondering. Anyway, I've been wondering what the heck's up with the 4DE Pinkie plushies; I pre-ordered one back in July and haven't heard a peep about 'em since. At the time, I could've sworn it said they were going to be released some time in October, but now they're saying late November...I guess just in time to coincide with se04's airing? I dunno. All's I know is, I'd better have mah plush before Christmas, or I'ma be one very displeased pony.
  13. If people argue that all new things are inferior to the old by default, they're certainly fooling themselves. However, even though I agree that there was plenty of garbage in the past, I still submit that past garbage doesn't stink quite as badly as modern garbage. And conversely, even though there are plenty of modern gems, I still don't think a majority of them shine quite as brightly as classic gems. This is just my subjective opinion, of course, and at the end of the day we just have to accept that nothing can truly be looked at without any subjectivity whatsoever - there's always going to be a hint of "I like this" or "I don't like this" whenever describing what is either wrong or right with things both past and present. That said, I see no problem with those who just so happen to prefer the old to the new, or vice versa. Hell, here's a few of my own subjective opinions that are sure to rub some of you the wrong way: -Awful '80s pop garbage like Bon Jovi is still easier on the ears than modern pop garbage like Maroon 5 -'80s NWOBHM, thrash and power metal bands contributed more to metal as a whole than any of the screaming, Cookie Monster bullshit that floods the scene today -Video games from the NES era all the way up to the N64 era still hold far more imagination and replayability than any of the CoD clones that get shat out year after year -Absolutely-fucking-NONE of the movies that re-imagine classic films EVER hold a candle to their original inspirations (Wonka > Burton's Charlie, Carpenter's The Thing > the 2011 abomination, Hitchcock's Psycho > ...you get the idea) I'd really like to touch upon this last bullet point. Although I'll fully admit that the music and video game scenes do have quite a few innovators that do stack up to the classics, Hollywood is NOT such an innovator...at least, not anymore. Yes, there's the occasional Inception, but aside from that, our film industry has devolved to such a point where even B movies on SyFy are actually more original than the big-hit blockbusters. That's right - something like Sharknado actually treats viewers with more respect than something like Michael Bay's Transformers movies. That is pretty fucking sad right there.
  14. I'd assume Pinkie would taste like cotton candy, Rainbow Dash like Skittles, and Rarity like marshmallow, so...between the three, I'd probably choose Pinkie. Because I likes me cotton candy.
  15. TFW your ponysona somehow looks more badass than the real-life you.

  16. You, too? Well, happy birthday to you, man! :D

  17. Well, guess I came back just in the nick of time...happy birthday, sugar cheeks! AJ, could we get a round of cider for the birthday gal? http://iambrony.steeph.tp-radio.de/mlp/gif/133571559300.gif

I've been on a vitamin regimen for a while to see if I can't kick my constant fatigue/possible narcolepsy problem, so I hope it staves off my annual December cold + sinus infection. Always turns the happiest time of the year into the most miserable, man. :(

  21. Like Tabitha's, myself. Not to step on anyone's hooves, but I don't see how her making Derpy sound like a "typical mentally challenged person" (which I don't think it sounds like at all, I'd describe it as 'dopey') is any more objectionable than the perfectly acceptable voice of a certain Ed-boy that no one seems to bat an eye at. No offense to Grey as a VA, but something about her performance doesn't sound quite as 'natural' to my ear as Tabitha's. But that's just me, yo.
  22. Either I'm an abraisive prick, or I just keep running into folks who can't wrap their heads around my personality. Probably the former, though. :\

Thanks, guys. From this point forth, I'm really gonna try to buckle down and focus on spreading positivity to my friends here, instead of allowing the negativity of others to taint my own mood and turn ME negative. I'm lucky to have you guys by my (metaphorical) side. :)
