  5. The Fiery Joker is awesome, and one of my top favorites. CraigAA1028 is funny too, and makes good videos. Thanks for mentioning them.

Another one of my favorites would be PeanutButterGamer.

I forgot mentioning PBG. He's awesome! Another good Youtuber is Jaltoid. His (now their, since his friend joined in) animations are pretty neat :D

Also, how could I forget to mention Jacksfilms?! THAT GUY'S AMAZING! Specially his "Your Grammar Sucks" Vids.

@Blue Moon, enjoy the video above :D

  6. Well, I can't deny the fact that you can't lend games with digital distribution. But there's no need when both can buy the game cheaper. Let me explain something that has been part of digital gaming and consoles don't have:

A lot of people complain about the fact that you can't lend or rent digital games. As a matter of fact, people say that they want to own their games, which you might already know that you will never do. You DON'T own those games, you just bought a playable copy of that particular software, but most people don't know that the game will never be owned by them.

Now, once you get that out of the way, there are great benefits in digital gaming. Well, at least with Steam (consoles really need to step up in this distribution platform):

    1) Digital distribution reduces costs: While most disc based games for consoles costs $60 brand new, the moment they arrive digitally on PC they cost between $50 or $40.

    2) More games for your money: If you wait a little, the console version will cost less, sometimes even $40 after two months. But if you wait on PC, you can get tons of Steam sales and the prices drop drastically (I can get a $50 game for $30!). This of course depends on the developers and publishers, but why would they do this? Well...

    3) More money goes for publishers and developers: Something that people have not understood is the fact that buying used games is hurting the developers and publishers. This is due to the fact that used games market is not regulated. You'll see people buying used games for $55 instead of $60 for a brand new copy. They save money, of course, but this only benefits the distributor. Not even one cent of that money goes to the publisher and developer of that game. You might remember Square Enix stating that they lost money with Tomb Raider. This is because a lot of people waited for the $10 price drop or to buy used copies of that game. Since there's no such market in digital gaming, they can afford to reduce the price from time to time. See the recently released MK9: Komplete Edition on PC, costing $30 (and soon it'll cost even less!).

    4) Your digital collection is stored: You say that you want to own the copies of those games and that with digital gaming you can't. Well, the problem is that if you scratch, lose, drop or do something bad to your disc, then you'll have to buy another copy of that game. With digital distribution (or at least with Steam) you can access those games anywhere. Did you buy a new computer and you want to play your games on it? It's ok, download Steam, log in and your purchased games will be available to download and install in any computer you want. The only way to access those copies is with your account. What about game saves? Cloud System. You just have to sync your save files (which is done automatically unless you configure it differently) and download those files on your other computer.

    5) What about DRM?: Well, you can play offline (as long as the games are not always online, of course) for a month before having to use internet again. You don't need to be online all the time.

That's the frustrating thing about DRM and why a lot of people hate it. I don't have a Wii U either but from what I've heard, playing someone else's console is the only way to share downloadable games. Same for the 3DS. So I think the only limitation here is whether or not you're wiling to let your friend borrow your console.

Or you can let your friend log in with your account. But is not the best solution. Sadly, consoles need to figure out a way yo be more attractive to consumers. Right now, Steam is way more attractive. But you need a decent PC, though :P

  7. Ok, my two cents here (or three, I'm really good img-1379355-5-xtWXQl1.png):

Maybe you can drawn some minor character that has had some kind of deep meaning to the series. I can think of Cranky :D

    Cheers!

  9. I usually don't listen to songs, but music tracks (technically speaking, a song must have lyrics and voice, if it doesn't contain those, it is a music track), so this list will contain a bunch of tracks:

Lets start with "Small Field" by Danny Norbury. The whole album makes me cry, actually, but this one is just so... Melancholic and sad. Please, please, play it. It is one of the best tracks ever made. Oh, and buy the album.

"Hurt", performed by Johnny Cash. I'm a fan of Cash's music, but this one in particular is just heartbreaking. I know that this one is a NIN original, but Cash's interpretation is superb and just so overwhelmingly sad.The last song he ever recorded, like the last letter to his audience.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o22eIJDtKho

"Ende" by Robag Wruhme. This one really nailed the whole "epic ending" thing in an album. It is really deep and heartwarming, and at the same time feels like the best ending to an incredible journey. Something that stands out of this track is the fact the he used the recordings of his friends mumbling and playing around with the microphone, and at the very end we can listen to his son's voice. Sweet <3

Now, this one might seem odd at first, until you acually listen to the lyrics. "Moan (Trentemøller Remix)" by Trentemøller has a really sad story behing its groovy beats, bubbling bass and lovely synths. Just listen to the heartbreaking lyrics (I actually did everything the song said tongue.png so I relate).

"Be Quiet And Drive (Far Away)" by Deftones is the most surprising song in this list. A lot of people always talk about the aggresiveness in this track, but the desperation of Moreno's voice is almost tangible. You can listen to his voice and relate inmediately, specially if you've ever though about running away from a place that you feel is hurting you (oh, those good 'ol fashion adolescent days...).

I'll edit to add some other tracks later.

  10. Relax, man. I knew what you were trying to say before. XD

You're saying that God didn't politically create the United States. Which, you're right, knowing about the founding fathers and all... I was just playing with your mind by saying God physically created America. But I wasn't serious about that at all. tongue.png

LOL! yesterday I trolled someone here. Now someone else trolls me :P I hope you don't get a warning as I did, though.

Now... Just to stay on topic: I seriously think that it is sad that people don't know at least the aprox. amount of years that USA has been an independent country. But this happens worldwide (in my country all the time). I just think people don't care about this anymore :/

  11. Well, God did create America (by my religious beliefs). Without the creation in the first place, people wouldn't have had made their settlement there. [/smartass]

Eenope. God created Earth and universe, according to chrstianity. The concept and foundation of United States of America (America is the whole continent, but I have to acknowledge that I didn't clarify that on my previous comment) was made by humans.

You can still say U.S.A. exists because God created Earth, but that also means that China, El Salvador, México, India, Africa, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, U.K., etc. exists also because of God. Now, again, THIS DOESN'T HAVE TO DO WITH RELIGION. You celebrate independecy because it's important to remember that people fought for freedom, both theirs and yours. Can you thank God for freedom? Of course, depending on your beliefs, but please remember that you're celebrating independecy.

  12. Well, my last post was deleted due to not being on-ññtopic, so now (just to be on-topic):

I think that this is something that happens in every country. Here in El Salvador there are lots of people that don't know about the guys who made independence possible. They also don't know the national anthem and more stuff. Even worst, they simply don't CARE about it.

It makes me sad to see so much people that don't know something as basic as that. I don't want 'em to tell me specifically how many years have passed since independance was achieved, but at least an estimate.

The worst part? They DON'T KNOW THAT AMERICA WAS FOUNDED BY HUMANS. I saw some people saying that America was created by God. Seriously, GOD?! mellow.png Sometimes people has to let go religion. I mean, it's ok if they believe in God, but what does he have to do with independancy day?

derpy_emoticon1.png I just don't know what went wrong...

  13. I do have one suggestion: her legs are really pumped. Make her go less to the gym next time :3 (is she friends with Chun-Li from Street Fighter? That'd explain it all).

  14. Whooossh .3.

Hey may i Ask chu a question? Its about Movie Nights. I Dont know how to get in. :c Maybe you can help me? Please? It would be So Awesome! img-1615188-1-wub.png

It is really simple, really (?). Every friday there're Friday Movie Nights. So, I really don't know the time it starts in your country, but in mine is at 3:00 p.m. Apparently it is going to be cancelled and for a couple of weeks we won't have FMN (Which is sad :/).

Anyway, whenever it comes back, lets watch ponies and movies together :D

  15. You do realize that most human hearing caps out at ~20 Hz?  I've got a pair of HD280's with a low-end response of 8Hz, which is almost completely useless.  Most music never goes below 30Hz.  The frequency response should not be used as a measure of quality.  It's only a small factor,

I do know that fact, but it is still impressive. And btw, most reviewers have give these headphones either 4/5 or 5/5, which is considerably awesome when you consider that they cost $1000. I think that it means you pay for something of real value (every reviewer has praised its sound).

Now, I know that for a lot less I can get something good, but still, I'd like to see why they're so praised by reviewers.

  16. I think Shimmer can be the second best or even THE BEST villain in all of the series. The reason? She did it all for herself.

While a lot of people think that Chrysalis is the second best, I think that she had some valid and heartwarming reasons for doing what she did (she had people to feed, so there's some sort of excuse for her behaviour). King Sombra is, sadly, underdeveloped (but if he comes back in season 4, prepare your hooves, because he has shown his capabilities as an outstanding villain!). Luna/Nightmare Moon was a good villain but she was used just to introduce a contrast to the magic of friendship and how being alone is not as powerful as it. Trixie is not exactly a villain (I think that the mane 6 made her the way she is), but she sure can be corrupted to become one.

Now,going back to Shimmer, she is truly evil at some point of the movie, showing that she was really capable to trick people to believe she wanted to be only "popular," when she was actually planning much, much more. A lot of people say that she's like an "Evil Twilight", but that's not what I think. Twilight was all alone before, but she always wanted to be a better student in order to be recognized. Shimmer just wanted to be praised, without even improving her magic skills.

The things that stops her from being the best is the fact that her potential was kind of wasted in EG, and that, even though she had great ideas, she's not as intelligent as Discord (the way he tricked every pony in both of the confrontations they had was just superb).

Anyway, I hope she appears again in the show. Right now, she's the third best for me.

  17. I think that Flash Sentry was a really awesome character!.. That the writers didn't use in a good way. He's really good in some parts, but he was underdeveloped and too generic.

Sunset Shimmer was also underdeveloped, she has a lot of potential for a backstory (and her character design both as pony and human is so LOVELY!). I think we need to see Flash Sentry more often in the show, maybe as a background pony who makes Twilight feel "nervicited".
