He began to feel really hungry looking at all the food in the menus but he was also thinking about Sapphire. She seemed so nice and loyal. "So...tell me how you know this group of ponies?     Whirl smiled and got up to walk to a nearby restaurant. Most stores were abandoned except for a couple. Soon both ponies got seated. "So what should we do about this? Do you know where to find RainDash? " whirl asked as the waiter handed them two menus and water.

      I'm doing ok. Keeping warm since we had a storm come in last night, complete with lightning. So today it's much colder then it usually is this time of year.

    Rain sighed and groaned in his mind as he looked over at both of them and thought in his head. Oh great! I'm stuck with two Try-hards! I hate those ponies. "Showoffs..." He meant to mumble in his mind but it slipped out loud. He blushed and picked up his bags and smirks.

    "Yeah....that's a problem..It's not very normal here right now. The sun is nowhere in sight and it's...yeah.." He shivers and moves close to her to keep warm and blushes. "so......so...should we go to the castle? There doesn't seem to be any royal guards around..." His voice trailed off as always as he scooted closer to Sapphire.

    Whirl was still half asleep as he leaned slightly on her."huh?...uh?..Whoa! Sorry" He said standing up straight. "Whoa.....Canterlot looks deserted! ..." Most of the doors were barricaded and the castle looked dark with gloom. There were only a few ponies running around.

    Whirl smiled as she scooted closer and relaxed his blushing to a more moderate stage. The train chugged on through the hours. Night and Day was not clear yet. Whirl slowly fell asleep ......... After 6 hours, the conductor's voice blasted "Canterlot! !!! FINAL CALL!!"

    Whirl smile as he saw her Come on dude! Make your move! He thought as he moved over to her blushing like crazy. Easy easy now.... His mind was racing and he was blushing like mad. It's a good thing no one else is in this car He said as he slowly draped one wing over Sapphire's sleeping body.

    Rain throws his stuff on a nearby bunk and picks up his speakers and record player. "I'm RainDash, you can just call me Rain" He said shrugging. "My dad made me come. He said the Equestria High School Academy had great teachers! Like I care!" He said rolling his eyes and looking at his new roommates skeptically

Without any sun, the ponies would die. For the next hour the train chugged slowly in the dark land. Whirl looked over at Sapphire, "Wanna go to the sleeping car to get some rest?"
