      Safer to put them into some warm or lukewarm water then to rub them, depending on how cold they are. I heard that if they are very cold and you rub them it may cause tissue damage, no idea if that is true or not.

      wear thick gloves, i've got some like mittens, toasty as hell but i can't use my fingers for anything, almost like having hooves XD
