Okay. I want to get a better grasp on drawing stuff out of my mind. apparently that's a very useful skill and I want to develop it. So I though ponies would be a nice way to develop that, because they give me something to draw. But I suck. I'm not even gonna post my previous pony drawing attempts here. They really really suck. I never got the body proportions right, so my pony's legs would always come out too short, too long or be looking kinda weird. But then I thought: I'm gonna major on engineering. What would an engineer do in times like these? REVERSE ENGINEERING! So I went on MLP Vector Club and chose a vector of a simple stallion. Doctor Whooves was a good choice. Standard pose, no big surprises. A good start, I think. Then I proceeded to put a piece of paper on my screen and trace it out. And with the traced picture in hands, I then added guidelines. This is where the reverse engineering comes in. You usually draw the guidelines and then you draw the pony. I'm doing the reverse here. Anyways, it looks like this: Guidelines all set, time to try drawing it normally. I first draw the guidelines in a similar size to the reverse engineered one. Then, with it as a reference, I proceed to draw the actual pony. I then add a generic mane and tail and this is what comes out: I then realize I messed up a bit on the muzzle. It's supposed to be a tad bigger, so I'll fix it soon. When I get everything sorted out, I'll probably do a lineart and color it, which will then be posted here. So stay tuned! EDIT: Scratch that. I made a new one: The front legs are kinda thin and I realized there's a slight downcurve on the chin line. I also accidentally made the butt circle too huge, so now he has a giant flank. But it's cool. As I'm drawing these I'm creating some steps on how to achieve a good perspective on some parts. Like, ear on the horizontal head guideline, thigh starting at halfway between the quarter circle, etc... Soon I'll have all the reference points I need. Oh, and note to self: The bottom left circle needs to be 75% of the head circle with the right side of the head circle as a reference. Otherwise his chest won't look as puffy. EDIT 2: Made a third one. I payed extra attention on the things i pointed out previously. Apparently it worked, because I'm very satisfied with the result: That's the one I'm gonna lineart and color.

And that is why I use minimal wallpapers like this one: Pony shape, but since it's not detailed people won't associate it with MLP.

It's very awesome. I had a blast with the spell system. There are a few bugs here and there, but it's playable. And it runs a lot better than Legends of Equestria. Just saying. Logitech G710+ here. Awesome keyboard. Very silent keys (compared to other keyboards). And they feel great too. I don't like those switches that don't add any resistance to your push. AND IT HAS 18 MACROS THAT I CAN USE! The only thing about it is that the spacebar sometimes gets stuck because I don't press exactly in the middle. But I bet that it's something dirt related, so if I clean my keyboard it should be fixed.

Dragon. They're awesome. How do you think a personality type of one kind may resonate with another completely different personality type, considering that they are very different from each other and common sense would say that personality types that look alike should resonate better?

Yes, I can sing in English. ... What? As a Portuguese speaker, English is a foreign language to me! :v And yes, I can also sing in Portuguese too. I wish I could sing in Japanese, though. It sounds so cool! But I would need to know all the syllables and be used to saying all that really fast, because everybody knows Japanese songs fit as many syllables as they can in just one beat of the song to make the lyrics fit. =D

Okay. Urm... Apparently the past me didn't know Thunderlane was his waifu. So yeah. Thunderlane. And Soarin. Because they're pegasi. And because Thunderlane has a cute butt. And Soarin has nice wings. Also, implying I'm not gay already. But that doesn't matter, since Thunderlane has a cute butt.

I honestly have no idea. I usually search for the Thunderlane tag, and whatever comes next is something else. Actually, one day I was looking at a Thunderlane video on Youtube, and in one of the comments there was a reference to a fic. I got curious and went to check it out. Turns out the story was a part of a whole storyline. And I really wanted to read the Thunderlane fic, so I started reading everything in the storyline. The thing is... The author had a really good SoarinDash fic going on in that storyline. I got hooked. Yep, I read the Thunderlane fic, but I'm staying for that SoarinDash. XD

For animation programs, you can either use Adobe Flash or Adobe After Effects (AE). The latter has a very cool puppet system if you rig them right. Take a look at the "Two Best Sisters Play" series. They're animated on AE. If you look around the creator's channel, you may find something about how they animate them.

I learned how to write in cursive. It sucked, but I know how to. The think is, for me to be able to write in proper cursive, I need to have something that scratches the paper, otherwise my hand is gonna slip and it's gonna look bad. After some time, I started altering some of my letters. I stopped doing the full loop on the G and started doing a much fancier thing instead. My T became separated from the rest of the letters and acquired a small stylish curve at the end. My "an" and "en" are still written in cursive. And I write both the cursive and the print versions. Cursive in stuff like "er" and print in stuff like ""rr". It's basically a weird stylish mix of a really crazy cursive and print alternating type of font... thing. But I don't think it's useless. It looks pretty if done right and can look quite fancy when used in certain situations.
