music Am I the only brony that prefers to listen to 80s music more than today's music?
GrooveBroove replied to Lewis the Brony's topic in Media Discussion
I LOVE 80's music OP. Whenever I'm working I always throw it on. Most of the time I get compliments on my taste especially for my age (22). Most people figure my age wouldn't like music from that decade. While I mainly listen to the top hits from the 80s just about all music from that decade I prefer -
Just got done watching it recently and really liked it. Some parts felt a little awkward (the beginning with no voice dialog) but as a whole I thought it was done well. The twist there was definitely a lot of fun to see. Not to mention all of the VAs did a great job. Also I loved all the jokes there for the fans.

Yeah I think I might go and mess arounf with some more. I'm liking the dual blades at the moment but i'm not going to settle on anything until I try them all on real hunts. -

MLP is a top priority says the Hasbro Vice President.
GrooveBroove replied to Sir.Flutter Hooves's topic in Sugarcube Corner
Considering the reports on how well the toys have been selling (Which aside from marketing into mainstream movies is their biggest source of revenue). It's in there best interest to keep the show going how it is and to keep the brony fans happy as well. That's not to say giving us everything we want, but the moment they start to shun us they're going to pay for it dearly in terms of sales. -

Does anypony even like the old generations?
GrooveBroove replied to Zach TheDane's topic in Classic Generations
I know I don't. However I won't go out and say I hate them. Since like it's been said, without the original show we wouldn't have what we currently do.- 192 replies

gaming What is your favorite game or game series?
GrooveBroove replied to ~TheStealthyPony~'s topic in Media Discussion
Metal Gear Solid since it got me into gaming and honesltly developed a lot of the tastes I have now. Second would be Resident Evil since it just gives me the things I like. -

GrooveBroove replied to Goodra's topic in Media Discussion
I ended up picking up both the 3DS and WiiU versions. Have been mainly playing on 3DS but am now jumping onto the WiiU versions. Game is fun though I definitely still suck at it since i'm running with the Great Sword. -

gaming Ghost Recon Online - Anyone playing or interested?
GrooveBroove replied to Jessper's topic in Media Discussion
Ok sounds good. Ill let you know what times I can get on once I start. Probably will be a little iffy since you're in Euro but not to much. -
I'd definitely would want to be in a scifi setting. Since its just sonething I'd really enjoy. Thinking about it I wouldn't mind Mass Effect so long as I'm not worrying about a reaper invasion.

gaming Official Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate Thread!
GrooveBroove replied to Goodra's topic in Media Discussion
Was playing the demo today and finally beat plesioth. My group needs and first and anyone willing to play with us is fine. We're all just normal beginners mainly playing for fun. We're on the WiiU so you can just add me (my WiiU name is my forum name) -
(Mod feel free to move if needed not quite sure where comic discussions would go) Just recently read through the first 4 and micro number 1. I have to say the mainline comics are absolutely great. Could easily see these being adapted to the show if needed. I especially like how they flesh out chrysalis though I don't want to spoil much. Also there's a lot of humor there for bronies especially those of us who are older and know a bit more of pop culture. As for the micro series I thought it was ok. It was nothing bad but it felt like a filler episode you'd see in an anime. Not much happens and nothing there really affects anything. Hopefully the later issues aren't like that.

GrooveBroove replied to Jessper's topic in Media Discussion
Hmm I wouldn't mind playing some. I've been pretty interested in it, especially since it looks better than most f2p. Just PM me when you want to try and play. (Dont worry I play for fun to) -
gaming Video game voice acting!
GrooveBroove replied to ~Sugar Sprinkles~'s topic in Media Discussion
House of the Dead 2 is so bad it's good. Absolutely love hearing the sheer lack of uncaring in every actors voice. Really adds a bit of B level charm though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAWxw0wmeNQ -

Something I was thinking about today. Seems like it would be an obvious thing to do, especially from a business standpoint. I was thinking something along the lines of what we get with the CMC episodes. So we'd see background ponies but mane6 and CMC would still have their place. Lastly the biggest thing would be Hasbro to keep everything the fanbase has pretty much universally agreed on with the background ponies. Also not to set it up and take it back like they did derpy.
