  1. It should be an open world game. You get to choose to play as one of the mane 6 and you go on adventures or missions set by Celestia. And you need to learn lessons of friendship on the way. Also, there would be side quests where you can play as members of the CMC.
  2. Hey I was just browsing through the forums and I discovered this gif in member Shawn Parks' signature. Absolutely love this btw. Could anypony help me find more gifs like this? Like something very long and rectangular? I'm trying to find gifs of the other mane 6 for my friends' signatures.
  3. I don't wear clothes at all since I'm a pony. My coat is already enough coverage I think. But sometimes when I'm in the mood I'll put a funny looking hat on. I guess that counts.
  4. Sleepless in Ponyville. Or at least that's what I think it's called. It's the Scootaloo episode in season 3 where they go camping. Very funny episode to start imo. Or you should go with the MMMystery of the Friendship Express from season 2 just because of the movie references like the James Bond one. XD That episode in particular is what I'd show anypony to get them into the show.
  5. Yeah nothing illegal is going on here. The only thing that I can conclude from this, is that Hasbro is bunch of hypocrites for using assets from a game they don't support. Also if you're making art out of copyrighted material, you shouldn't be expecting to have your name attached to it. After all you're using somepony else's ideas to make something. So it wasn't really their own creation from the start.
  6. Well I know a lot of ponies who say "That's so gay" but don't mean to offend others who are gay. I have a few gay friends who are against this saying and they feel really strong about it. I do too. Even if you don't mean being gay is the same thing as being stupid, you are still implying it when you make your statement. Or at least that's how others can interpret it. You need to think before you say something. This kind of goes with people who use the word retarded to describe something stupid too. That's also really hurtful and needs to stop.
  7. It sounds like an idea that could've created a bigger conflict with Shimmer and Twilight but obviously it didn't. The whole mentioning of him being Shimmer's ex just seemed kinda pointless. I don't remember Shimmer and Sentry even interacting in the movie.
  8. Hi new friend!! Oh you're from Pennsylvania too? Awesome!!

Yeah, both the first and last episodes of seasons always seem to have that "rushed" feeling to me, but I guess they do have a schedule to adhere to. Yeah, that episode was pretty good. Heck, I think all of them were good, but naturally my favorite one is "Too Many Pinkie Pies," but that's because I have a Pinkie bias. X3

LOL same. Pinkie is my favorite but I have yet to see a Pinkie episode as good as the Cranky Doodle one. XD

True, and the Smile song has got to be one of the best songs ever made. ^^

  9. Not necessarily. They have boys kissing girls in kids shows. Instead of that just have boys kissing boys or girls kissing girls. It doesn't need to get dirty like that.
  10. I fully support the idea of including gay characters in kids shows. The heterosexualism needs to stop. Kids at a young age need to understand that it's ok to be in love with others of the same sex. If a kid sees a gay character on tv that doesn't mean they're going to end up being gay. That's ridiculous. They'll confirm their sexuality later when they mature just like everypony else. Another thing that needs to be put to an end is associating homosexuality with mature themes. That's just plain stupid. And I fail to see why parents would find homosexuality inappropriate for their children to be aware of. It's just love for Christ's sake. Love has no gender. So get with it moms and dads.
  11. Props for spreading friendship even with the use of violence. I think I've successfully gotten my little bro into liking the show. I didn't force him or anything. Just watched a few eps in the room and he couldn't stop watching. XD
  12. I enjoyed Equestria Girls also. I knew it would be good and entertaining. The only thing I didn't like really were the character designs and I thought some parts of the movie felt rushed. Other than that the movie was a pleasure to see. I agree it did have a really strong message and it was true to the MLP FiM. And pardon my French but you can't possibly tell me that song they sang in the cafeteria wasn't fucking catchy.
  13. Why Pinkie is the cuter then Fluttershy. Now tell me that doesn't make your heart melt. Now all of you who said Fluttershy is the cutest; go edit your posts.
  14. Well hi there! :D

  15. Not to beat a dead horse. (Pun intended) Lauren Faust has said Apple Jack's parents have passed away. I think it's even implied in the Apple Family Reunion episode where Granny Smith shows AJ, Big Mac, and Apple Bloom their family album.
  16. Well one thing I have to confess is that I say everypony in place of everypony. I'm pretty sure everypony does that so I guess it's not really a big deal.
  17. I noticed a lot of ponies are mentioning they like shipping in their confessions? I don't know what this is? Could somepony explain please?
  18. I agree with you there but I think despite not even knowing the full story, the character designs alone send a message to the little girls that differs then what My Little Pony FiM teaches. I don't think the shows match because of that. I don't even need to to reference Faust's vision for MLP to even support my argument. You ponies who mentioned that her vision isn't relevant anymore are right. It's true. However I strongly think the writers have done a fantastic job keeping Lauren's MLP like what it was when she was still involved. So what if they changed around character personalities/development. It still feels like the same show it always was and it still teaches the lessons in friendship with exciting adventures and what not. So basically it's no longer a question of if EqG is faithful to Lauren's vision but just what MLP in general stands for. I do believe Lauren's vision is still alive in MLP and shouldn't be ignored just because she isn't involved with the show. She wrote the bible of the show after all.
  19. Now I'm not accusing you of saying I'm wrong but I thought I was pretty accurate with what I said. I don't think I played around with Faust's words as she's mentioned the points I've referenced a number of times. On Twitter recently she was ranting about how Disney drastically changed the look of Merida to make her more feminine with a curvier waist and such. So she has that mentality. I can't assume she'd automatically think the same for EqG. But I have a strong feeling she doesn't like what they've done to her characters. Has she even publicly thrown out her opinion of EqG?
  20. Agreed completely. I would think AJ and RD would both be wearing jeans. At least they got one piece of clothing right; Apple Jack's hat.
  21. They're trying to appeal to a teenage demograph They're trying to appeal to a teenage demographic? Strange, but the fans younger then 10 are still going to see it anyway since it's based on the show.
  22. Ok I posted something similar to this in another topic but I thought it should probably have a topic of its own. Let's forget about whatever story Equestria Girls has in store for its audience. I'm goona talk strictly about the characters of Equestria Girls. Are they faithful to Lauren Faust's characters? The ones she designed herself. Where they given the same kind of artistic integrity as their pony counterparts. I sure as hey don't. Here's why. Lauren Faust has made it clear in interviews that she wanted to prove to everypony that a little girls' show can be enjoyed by ponies of all ages. When she created My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, she wanted to create a show where the characters weren't all about tea parties, checking out boys, and just standing around just to look pretty. She didn't want to make a show to teach girls that they had to be that way. That's why in MLP you have female characters who are really girly, sort of girly, and tomboyish but are all still great friends. It teaches girls that they can be themselves and that they don't have to conform to any certain stereotype. Then you have the exciting adventures, and the clever humor to go along with the characters too. That's why we love the show. Now, here is my criticism for Equestria Girls. The character designs are horrid. I think this is the opposite of what Lauren's intentions for MLP were. The mane 6 ponies have been reduced to 6 pretty faces, each with small midsections, and elongated legs. They all wear their hair long and they have similar clothing too. Notice they all wear short skirts with boots/legwarmers. This just kills a big chunk of their uniqueness, as I'm sure 6 friends with all different personalities wouldn't all choose similar clothes like that. Now pretty much the only way the human mane 6 can express themselves as individuals is through their actions and personality as their bodies and clothes are basically the same shape and look. The human character bodies are so idealized and sexualized that is pretty much takes away that magic MLP FIM has and the vision that Faust intended. Yeah we all know Hasbro is out there for the money but it still doesn't change the fact that this MLP spinoff was created with the wrong artistic integrity. I wonder what Lauren thinks of to this day what has happen to her characters as they have become pretty much the very thing she wanted to avoid when making the show from the beginning. What do you ponies think? This is all my opinion. The movie can still be good as I'm sure the writing will be strong as the tv series. I just feel that the heart of the characters design falls short in this one. That's all.
  23. I don't like calling myself a brony but I am one by definition. I'm a 22 year old male who just watches the show on youtube every now and then. I don't do anything else for the fandom like fan art or make music, or cosplay.
  24. Why would any of them be of any race that we're familiar with? They're fictional characters from a fictional land called Equestria. Why would we associate characters from that fictional setting with ours?
  25. I don't believe you. Not at all. I also wouldn't believe you'd register for a site for a series you don't like. That just doesn't make any sense. If I didn't know better; I'd say you're trolling.
