    Here's Final Verse, the first sculpture from my September commission batch! Her BDSM gear was quite a challenge to make (check out the heels!) and I'm pretty satisfied with it! (*´ω｀*) All the detail is hand-painted (including the cutie marks and the stocking lace) ♥

    I managed to identify my very first (and, sadly, long lost) piece of official pony merch and I'm very curious about that particular toy line! There's very little info on them on My Little Wiki: These PVC figures are stamped BULLY, W. GERMANY, EUROPE and ©1987, HASBRO. Bully also made pencil sharpeners and snow globes featuring these figures. Does any of you G1 fans know anything more about them? First of all - how many figures were there in the set? I only know each pony came in two variations - Unicorn and Earth Pony. There are very few photos of these figures on the internet and it's the three ponies shown above that usually pop up in Google image search. But my lost pony had a different cutie mark, so I'm guessing there were more ponies available. Secondly, I know they were manufactured in Germany by a company named Bully (which later changed the name to Bullyland) and distributed in Central Europe back in the early 90's. Did they ever make it outside of Europe? Were they available in other regions of Europe? And finally, what's with the designs?! I don't recognize any of the ponies in the picture... Do they have any official names or are they just random, nameless recolors? All of the Bully ponies had obscure black cutie marks (my lost figure had a single pawprint for a cutie mark) that looked like very simpified versions of actual cutie marks we know and love. Bully used to manufacture (and still does to this day, look it up!) lots of licensed PVC figurines. Disney, Muppets, Smurfs, you name it. And I remember they were all very accurate and well-manufactured, each character was easily recognizable. They were more like collectible items than regular 'ol toys... But the Bully ponies look like bootlegs to me, even though they have a Hasbro stamp on them. What happened there? Does anybody have any ideas?

    Yep, they're available in theaters! I live in Poland and I went to Multikino, tho not sure if this chain operates outside of my country!

    Ok, these are available now and THE QUALITY OF THESE FIGURES IS STELLAR! They are super expensive tho, I don't think I'll be able to get the other two figures anytime soon ;_;

    Exactly. By making her chest flat, they make her look more masculine so that her appearance fits her personality. I don't think it's the shy anime girl trope, like some have said. This might be rooted much deeper. I think artists depict her with big boobs and hips because she's the motherly type, the most caring, gentle and warm one of the mane six. And we subconsciously attribute big breasts and hips with motherhood (I mean, just take a look at all the ancient goddesses of fertility and childbirth!) Big breasts are supposed to represent her caring, motherly nature.

    SUDDENLY THE MOVIE IS ADVERTISED EVERYWHERE, I'M SO RELIEVED!!! The major toy retailer in my country offers a -20% discount on all pony merch on the opening weekend if you show a ticket to the MLP movie at the counter!

    I work at an animation studio, we'd probably fistbump and discuss the film afterwards XD Seriously tho, I see your point. I guess the stigma attached to MLP is the main issue here. Like @Steve Piranha said, nobody bats an eye about people watching Disney's (or DreamWorks, for that matter) animated features. When I went to see Moana earlier this year the theatre was full of people and the majority of the audience were adults. Sure, there were parents who came to see the film with their kids, but I also saw LOTS of teenagers and college students, both male and female. Lots of dudes came to see a Disney princess movie and nobody was bothered by it. Everyone knows that Disney films are quality entertainment for people of all ages and genders, so nobody minds if adult men show up to see them. It really should be the same for the MLP movie. Jugding by the trailer, this is going to be an awesome ride with pirates, spaceships and a monkey demon villain. Tons of action sprinkled with slapstick. If sailing adventure of a Polynesian princess is suitable for adult men, then how is magical adventure of talking horses not? XD

    We're getting the dubbed version in Poland, too... ...WHICH SUCKS because I don't like our VAs and I'm not used to them at all. I'll go see the dubbed movie in theatre and then wait for the original version to come out online >:V

    3! It's an anthro, but it still has the cute pony muzzle. I prefer them over flat human faces, to be honest!
