    I am a girl and I don't hide it at all. I have posted a picture of me with one of my pony items in the merch thread too. I don't feel like I am treated differently at all on here. In real life people seem to think I am too old to be into ponies (my mom mainly) but they seem more accepting of it since I am female and since I grew up with the early ponies so there is the nostalgia aspect of it as well. I feel like offline it is probably harder to be a male interested in MLP. I have been treated very nicely here and have been welcomed by both male and female fans although sometimes it is hard to tell if someone is a boy or a girl on here because many guys have female characters on their avatars and sigs.

    I went to Sears with my fiance and he got me the 20 percent cooler shirt with Rainbow Dash on it. It is from the young men's section on the website and I found it on a sale table in the store if anyone is looking for one. The table was in the men's section with the other licensed tees for cartoons and such. I may take a picture of me wearing it soon if anyone wants to see.

    That really stinks, Daniel! SanchezLev, I found the game by searching for my little pony in the Amazon App store. You could probably find it for your iPhone the same way. It is really cute. Nightmare Moon has covered much of Equestria in darkness and frighted the ponies away from Ponyville. You have to build shops, earn money and gems and unlock all the ponies. I went to the comic book store today to see what pony merch they had. They had a few other things but I picked up these comics: They are the main series 1 and 6 and the micro series number 3. Now I have to find the rest so I can read past issue 1. I didn't even notice one was micro series when we bought them. Oh well I guess I can collect both now. They also had blind bags, brushables, a wallet, a belt, undies, hats a Pinkie Pie mug and a RD bathrobe. The store is called Newbury Comics. They have multiple stores in Massachusetts but are also in CT, RI and NH.

    I would make the plushie as close to show accurate as possible but I would still buy that fabric for another project if you love it so much. I think based on how you described it maybe it could work for Trixie's wizard costume but I would have to see a picture. I don't sew though so take my opinion for what you will.

    I have that game on my Kindle Fire. I love it! I need more friends and I wish it didn't take so many levels to unlock Rainbow Dash!

    Keep on practicing so you can get better and better. She is a little chubby, maybe Pinkie Pie fed her too many cupcakes lol. Very good job if you are new to drawing ponies or drawing in general.

    I went to 2 Family Dollar stores (I don't know if that is a nationwide chain on only in my area) I got 4 brushables total buy 1 get 1 50 percent off. I think they are really cute even if the hair isn't even close to show accurate. I am a little scared to mess with them though. Then later I went to a Toys R Us Express and got 3 more Wave 4 blind bags. I have 5 in total now. With the brushables I got Rarity, Twilight, Lyra and Trixie! The blind bags I got Fluttershy, Twilight and Chance-a-lot. Why does Fluttershy look like a Dashie recolor? I mean they seriously couldn't make a new mold for one of the mane 6? I love Dashie but it seems unfair that Fluttershy doesn't get to have her own hair!

    If you have a video camera you could also make youtube videos. Skits are popular on there. You can create your own characters or if you have a friend that does animation you can do voice work for them. It helps to get yourself out there and build a talent portfolio.

    If you like to read and need practice you could try volunteering for Librivox.org. They are always looking for people to read public domain classics for their website. It will help you with trying out voices. I haven't really gotten into it but I have considered it and I have a headset. I don't know how to get into it professionally but you could look into reading for audiobooks and record demos of yourself and audition in person. Do you do any stage acting or film or tv? Is that something you care interested in or are you looking to voice cartoon characters?

    The latest pony thing I "bought" was actually the free game for my Kindle Fire. It is also available on iPhone and iPod as well and probably regular Android. It is a lot of fun. I need friends so if anyone has it you can PM me and I will add you on Facebook if you want. There is another way to connect with friends but I haven't found it yet. So far I have unlocked Twilight, Pinkie Pie and some other secondary characters like Big Macintosh and Lyra. Next up is Apple Bloom! Tomorrow I am going to Target with my fiance to look for blind bags. I got the last 2 at the other Target hopefully this one has more.

    I think the Pinkie Pie sugar addict episode is a good idea as ponyvangelist suggested. She is also a cider-holic lol. Remember when she had like a dozen mugs of cider and poor Dashie didn't get anything. I am sorry this sounds like I am hating on Pinkie Pie. But I do think this could work with her character. I doubt they would do actual drugs or alcohol though. The Apple family almost wound up homeless though but that is a serious as it has gotten unless you read into things and see episodes as symbolism for more serious issues. Like the changelings being terrorists or something. Personally I like it to be light to be an escape if I am having a bad day or something.

    John Cusack pony. Holding a boombox like in the scene from Say Anything. I would try it myself but I have no experience drawing pony anatomy. Once I get some practice I may try though. I love John Cusack. ETA I forgot to say please.

    I took the survey and put in all kinds of info in the comments. I suggested Doctor Hooves and Derpy, removable wings for Twilight, Wonderbolts outfit for Rainbow Dash etc. I also voted positively for Luna and Celestia. I would love to see the villians... but I doubt that will happen. DISCORD! He would be a pain to design, mass produce and stuff. But Nightmare Moon would be awesome too. I want a Dashie plushie so bad... she is moving in on Twilight's spot of favorite. I don't know why I just have been loving her more and more. I felt an immediate connection to Twilight for being a bookworm but I find that I enjoy rewatching RD clips and episodes and I just love her character design and voice. I am also undecided how I feel about the whole ending of season 3 with Twilight...

    Children are learning what gay means at a younger age these days an most of them are surprisingly mature about it and think it is no big deal. Promoting love and tolerance is a good thing on a children's show I think. Shows aimed at families have shown homosexuality before. People are going to find something to complain about no matter what the episode is about. It is the same with books and movies. I don't think that is a good reason to not include gay characters. I don't think it needs to have it's own episode but I see nothing wrong with somepony having a very special somepony of the same gender. Kids can handle it believe it or not! I am pro gay rights and legalizing gay marriage. I am straight. I don't have any children but I have nieces and nephews and I am surprised by how young they knew about what gay meant but they think it is no big deal. It obviously wouldn't be sexual if there were gay ponies on the show. Just doing things that couples do like walking together, having a picnic and calling each other cute nicknames like sweetie pie and snookums. Most kids view love in a different way than adults and would probably even think it is sweet. I don't think it would be good for it to be a mane 6 character though... as that would be too controversial.

    I found this little pretty at a thrift store about 10 minute walk from my apartment: According to the Strawberry Reef guide she is: Petal Dove 2004 So Soft Pony (my tag says 2003) "Baby Alive" She was only 1 dollar and the lady charged me another 50 cents for the carrier thing she comes with... but no bottle any where to be found. I will keep looking when I go in there... who knows maybe it will turn up. Still a great deal! I put batteries in her and she actually works! She giggles (a couple of different ways and makes a sucking noise if you press the button in her mouth. Her mane was tangled but I combed it and she looks nice. Does anyone know how to use the carrier thing? (a bit OT but I got the Domo in the bg today too also for only 50 cents!)

    Oh my... I want to collect the blind bag ponies (maybe not every single one... but the mane 6, families and secondary characters) as well as the 3 piece mini sets to get the unusual characters like Zecora ect. I would also like plushies of the mane 6 or at least my top 3, Twlight, Dashie and Fluttershy (kinda tied for second I love both of them. Love Fluttershy's timid quiet and loving animals personality but I love Dashie's color scheme, episodes and overall personality) If I had the money I would get the RD BAB. We have one at the mall near us. Some tshirts from We Love Fine... about 5 of them lol. The slim wallet from HT if I can still get it... it is on clearance online... but I don't want to pay like 10 dollars shipping. The Doctor and Derpy tee from HT Slap bracelets Walmart plastic cups (only have 1 but they are under a dollar each) This is which shirts I would get if I had about 150 to drop right now. (and the free stuff I would pick lol)

    I just don't understand the big deal. You sound like a good kid. You get great grades and don't get into trouble. So what if you want a toy pony? You deserve that plushie. With all the bad things going on with some young people your parents should feel lucky to have you. You could try to learn how to make your own Dashie. There are patterns for hand sewn ponies on Deviant Art and you can make them out of felt, fleece or other fabric. You could also make some for friends for practice. I found one that looked simple that I want to try myself. I can't remember the designer but I saved it so I can look for it if you want. You would have to figure out the mane but the body is the same.

    My collection so far was all bought this month. I will post to the collection thread once I get more and get my old ponies from my parents house. most of those are probably G1. All of this was bought within the last 2 weeks I think. Today I got 2 light blue blind bags. Wave 4 I believe. I am new to this. I checked the bags to make sure they were different codes but I didn't know which ones. I ended up with 23 and 24: Shoeshine and Pinkie Pie (metallic)! I also got a cup from Walmart. Blind bags were the last 2 in Target but Toys R Us caries them too. I saw the Shining Armor and Candace (Target only) and the 12 pony (Toys R Us only) and wanted them... also all 3 places had the 3 pony mini sets. Zecora looks so cool. Here is a picture of the back of the cup and the 50 cent coloring book (from Family Dollar) The pictures are decent but most of the cutie marks are filled in black... except for Rarity and Fluttershy. There are about 20 or so coloring pages with activity pages on the back. I colored in a few already. I can share a picture if anyone wants to see them. Next on my list is a wallet, a tshirt or 2, a keychain and buttons and pins. I also can't seem to find the slap bracelets anywhere. Anyone seen them in Western MA?

    I don't think they hate Rarity. She has had some great episodes and moments. I also don't feel like AJ is a background pony at all and in fact I feel like they did quite a lot of the Apple family in S3 with the CMC having a lot of screen time and the episode with Big Mac and Cheerilee. I don't really feel like all of the mane 6 have had an equal number of episodes but I think that is okay if the story progresses. I feel like they need to do more with her but they haven't gotten around to it yet. I think her jealousy may pop up again with the Twilicorn thing. I would like to see her travel for her fashion design... like have a big runway show somewhere like how AJ and RD have traveled for their talents. I also want to see them give more of a history of Celestia growing up and how she came to be a princess but I don't feel like they hate her either.

    So far all I have is a coloring book I found for 50 cents at the Family Dollar store. I want to get the slim wallet from Hot Topic, a Twilight shirt and a Doctor Whooves shirt. I would also like to get some plushies maybe from Build A Bear and smaller items like pins and stickers. I hopefully can go to Build A Bear and Hot Topic soon. The Twilight shirt I like is from WeLoveFine and it says read a book. I am enjoying looking at all of your merch pictures.

    I want the plushies! I can't wait to see more pictures and find out if they will be available in America. I want Twilight but I would love the other ponies too.
