    So I listened to the US version of Rubber Soul with @CloudMistDragon earlier. I think it works better since it focuses on the more acoustic side of the Beatles, and is, as such, a much more intimate and personal record.

      Agreed. One of my 3 favorite Beatles albums. It’s even my favorite on some days.

      @Captain Clark In some respects, a couple of the Capitol albums are better than the UK releases (such as the aforementioned Rubber Soul, Meet the Beatles, and Beatles '65), IMO.

      I actually don’t think I have ever listened to any of the UK versions. I suppose I should give them a shot eventually.
