  1. "Maybe I'll actually get around to reviewing what I consider Prince's golden era - 1980 to 1995. The question is it I'll be able to commit to reviewing a decade and a half of music that ranges from excellent at best and decent at worst."
  2. The Beatles, ranked from favorite to least favorite:

    -Paul

    -George

    -John

    -Ringo

I'd put John above George, but I agree otherwise! :)

I still haven't heard all of their songs, though – maybe my order might change a little.

  3. I love Fredrick. He's so calm and unbiased.
  4. Can I offer you "alternative" persuasion methods to get a sale? Blues musician.
  5. Nope. Moving away from sociopolitical stuff, what theme park(s) would you like to go to with your SO?
  6. I consider myself a hippie (in the most basic sense: I believe in anti-authoritarianism, free love, protecting the environment and animals, and decriminalization/regulation of drugs). But to me, the answer doesn't lie in anarcho-primitivism, "going vegan", or any of that. The answers lie in not going back to the past, but looking forward towards the future. Through science, technology, education, self-determination, and reason.

      Apparently.

But I think someone else voiced her.

  8. *hugs* Bestest friend ever.

  9. So, I decided to take the 8values test again, and I think these results are more accurate to my beliefs.

  11. Both. In terms of modern rockabilly/psychobilly, I'd recommend The Cramps, Reverend Horton Heat, and Tiger Army.
  12. I'm thinking of doing a review of Sailor Moon: The Movie (a fan film @Emerald Heart showed me). Anyone else wanna join me? Seriously, this needs more love.

@Emerald Heart Nah, I'll provide a link so you can edit it.

  13. Sailor Moon: The Movie, recommended to me by @Emerald Heart. It's a fun fanfilm that distills the Dark Kingdom arc down to its bare bones, and has...basically everything you could possibly want from a Sailor Moon film adaptation. I'm reminded of MMPR: The Movie (from 1995) and the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film especially, given its small budget and cast.
  14. If you ask me, the fact that you relate to Discord tells me that you're a free spirit who doesn't like the status quo and wants to change things up.

@Renegade the UnicornNo idea why that High School Musical song came to mind, but ok.

@Renegade the UnicornNo, but whenever some talks about the status quo, Stick to the Status Quo gets in my head...

  15. I'm thinking of having my next entry in Tales From the Punchbowl be on socialist revolutions, why and how they do more harm than good, and why the answer isn't overthrowing capitalism entirely but rather reform and gradually phasing it out from within.

Capitalist won't let go as long as they are powerful, how do you take that powere from them? Make the people, the ones who give them money, overthrow them.

@Bastian I'm a free market anarchist. I believe revolution is only necessary as a last resort, and that socialism is a gradual process built upon reformation and persuasion, rather than an instantaneous one built on violence and oppression of the people it tries to guarantee freedom for.

  16. Never change, Brian. You're a precious gift to humanity.

Doing good, thanks! Despite still fighting with a leaking pipe in my bedroom. :P

I should hopefully have it sorted out this evening. Had to wait for some stuff to be delivered this afternoon.

And how are you, good sir? :kirin:

  20. ...As a libertarian socialist who hates Marxist-Leninism, I hereby apologize on this fellow's behalf. Seriously, though, are you really trying to insert far left wing politics into MLP? Because in trying to portray Equestria as a racist, anti-socialist absolute monarchy that tries to vilify Celestia and the values she (and the show itself) stand for, you make your intended message incredibly biased and fall apart under its own anti-logic.
  21. @Bakugou Is My Man ❤ Toby nodded, taking in what Usa had told him. "Duration is key." he muttered under his breath, as if he were taking mental notes; which, in fairness, he was. He had a unique Quirk, after all, and he needed to learn how to lengthen its time. As Toby went to bed, he began thinking of ways he could do so. Meditation and exercise seemed like a good place to start. He woke up the next morning, performed his usual morning routine - shower, get dressed, brush teeth, eat breakfast. When those were finished, he made his way to the rendezvous point, waiting on the others.
