I see someone likes my superhero universe concept.

I mean, none of my heroes are inherently "good": Infinite is a well-intentioned but self-righteous and hypocritical extremist with major identity and self-esteem issues, Aquaria operates on inhuman morality, Lettuce (while good-hearted) causes unintended mayhem in his path, Ishtar (similar to Infinite) is an ambitious chessmaster, but unlike him, is just misguided and twisted rather than trying to justify and/or deny her goals, Infinigirl (like a lot of teenagers) seems to have a self-centered view of the world, Eisheth is a succubus who is literally just doing her job, and Marvelous is a kid with a lot of issues outside his control that he's struggling to accept and understand.

Holy crap.
Infinite has unintentional parallels to Xanatos.
I mean, think about it.
Not only are they voiced (hypothetically in Infinite's case) by Jonathan Frakes, they also have ambitions for humanity (albeit with understandable and more benevolent intentions in Infinite's case), with plans on top of plans to accomplish them.

Whoo, now I'm finally finished with all seven profiles of the Victory Legion, I can finally get into the worldbuilding proper.
-
I'm also thinking that, as part of the Renegadeverse, there's a benevolent form of a super registration act. It's voluntary, but most of America's superheroes do it anyway to cover any damages during battles, and they get government benefits and protection in return.

So, what do you guys think of the idea that Walt Disney is not only still around in my superhero universe, but that he managed to build his original vision of Epcot?
-
Might end up doing profiles for the Victory Legion's primary archenemies.
In order, they are (with the corresponding hero in parentheses):
Justice Lord (The Infinite) and Columbia (Infinigirl)
Jestia Spade (Lettuce)
Carmilla (Eisheth)
Prince Nechtain (Aquaria)
Tiamat (Ishtar)
Nyarlathotep (Marvelous)

Huh. Didn't know you liked Harley Quinn.

Dat profile pic tho

Eh, screw it. Imma just post Eisheth's and Aquaria's profiles anyway; besides, there's nothing too too explicit in them - at best it's a hard PG-13, at worst a light R.

Y'know, in trying to make the Renegadeverse a reconstruction of comic books from the years 1938-1973, it's likely I'm going to have to acknowledge a certain elephant in the room: the racial stereotypes those comics had an uncomfortable surplus of.
Namely, the Asian and black stereotypes (particularly the ones rooted in Yellow Peril and blaxploitation respectively).
Oh dear, this will certainly not be fun.
-
I don't feel like it's my place to comment on that, but if comic books go back that far, than I'm sure racial stereotypes were a product of the age. Mistakes of yesteryear can become victory stories of today when those characters are reinvented into something better, something they should have always been. I can't say how often that happens since I'm not in the comic book fandom or industry, but it has a greater chance of happening these days.

Fun fact: Imperial Japan in the Renegadeverse has gone back to a neo-feudal state of government, resembling a highly anachronistic samurai movie, essentially.
And yet it's one of the five major world powers in the setting.

OK, so the reason I haven't updated my superhero fiction blog is (primarily) due to concerns over potentially inappropriate content in the profiles of Eisheth and Aquaria. How should I go about solving this?
