      Actually, it was a lot like that. :laugh: Except over the internet of course. He didn't like how I reacted to one of his posts about him feeling chronically depressed. I found it to be him just shoving his feelings down other's throats, and he so much disagreed that he went as far as calling me "morally bankrupt" (yes, I do remember those words quite precisely). It almost got to the point where I ignored him. He apologized, and we quickly fell in love. :dash: Thinking about it, it was pretty weird how it all worked out.

    Seth MacFarlane's The Orville is more Star Trek than DS9 or Discovery for that matter. :P

      I've seen a couple of episodes of it and I can definitely agree it actually feels more like Star Trek and is WAY better than the garbage that was DS9.

      If anything, it evokes TOS and TNG than the later shows, which kiiinda grew too dark and edgy for my tastes, y'know?

      I really like when optimistic shows become darker. It actually makes for a really gripping contrast of tone.

    Saw Ferris Bueller's Day Off while in Texas, and I thought to myself, "Lucky's probably jealous right now."
