OK, I am (once again) attempting to form a band - this time, I'm trying to go for a new wave/glam punk/power pop type thing; I already found a bassist, and I'm doing lead vocals + keyboards. all we need now is a guitar player and drummer. Any takers?

That hits hard bc yes, the gods may not be literal beings but they are still transcendent, powerful classical Jungian archetypes that are both a part of us (i.e. our collective imagination), and greater than us (i.e. the sum of our understanding of human experiences and the natural world's beauty).

OK, so you know the "I Play Pokemon Go Everyday" kid? Yeah, he's still around. And he released an EP last year. It's actually pretty cool knowing he's not only moved past those infamous "meme" tunes, but that he's a legit good singer!

OK, so I've thought about doing my own take on G4.
-It would be based on Lauren Faust's original pitch for FiM (a primarily adventure-based series akin to G1)
-In keeping with using Luna's original name (Selene), I'm changing Celestia's name to match (Queen Helia)
-Equestria's a federated monarchy akin to the Earth Kingdom. Not only that, but the conflict between the two sisters? It takes the Gondor inspiration for Canterlot and runs with it.
-Spike's a teenager/young adult right off the bat, avoiding the unfortunate implications of Sparity (or in this fic's case, Firework - the ship between Spike and Sparkler).
-Discord...well, I'm taking a page from some of the darker reimaginings and making him an eldritch abomination. Or rather...a piece of a larger eldritch abomination akin to Aku.
-Strengthening the G1 vibe that Faust originally envisioned, there are many connections to the former - the Elements wee forged by the Moochick from the Rainbow of Light, Hydia and the Witches are/were antagonists, etc.
-Ponyville is now Fillydelphia, and is a big city instead of a small town.
This series will fluctuate between six-part adventures and smaller 2-3 chapter slice of life stuff.
-Firefly and Surprise (RD and Pinkie's counterparts) are stepsisters in this continuity.
-Scoots and Sweetie Belle don't exist in this continuity...at least not initially.
Also, humans exist in this continuity.
But they're more akin to the elves of LOTR.

I know with genderfluid people this can change but, what are your preferred pronouns for when they aren't up anywhere? I usually default to they/them for people who I don't know the pronouns of at any time (including fluids), but making sure it's not neos/standard she/her (since being transfeminine I'm guessing you wouldn't go by he/him very often).
I'm technically genderflux myself but that's far from necessary knowledge for understanding my gender at a basic enough level to get my pronouns right.
