Maybe because I'm a fanfiction writer?

I've written a few romance fics. 

Not sure what to add to this, given that I haven't seen this "video."

But all I can say is that people are entitled to their own opinion. They see the slightest bit of affection, and instantly go nuts. And, as a fangirl myself, I can get that. 

(Also, I'm 21, so...)

It's just how any fandom works.

Take Alex Russo and Justin Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place and keep in mind that they are SIBLINGS! 

Apparently their ship (Jalex) is pretty popular, and it is definitely a mainstream ship. So much incest... ugh. Just because the two (Who, once again, are brother and sister) are close in their own way, doesn't mean that they will ever get together. Seriously, like... ew.

I accidentally stumbled upon a Jalex fic and got so confused when they ended up kissing. 

People tend to read into on-screen stuff too much, and  boom... shipping time!
