  1. I finally got in to actually see my psychiatrist today. (I had only been conducting phone consultations during the facility’s closure from COVID-19).

    - I am getting off of Seroquel (300mg). This medication has worked quite well for me but it has given me problems with my blood glucose levels as well as weight gain. I am very much tired of dealing with those side effects so it’s on its way out. I should be off of it completely in a few weeks. I have to decrease my dosage gradually.

    - Lexapro stays the same (10mg).

    - Due to a recent relapse, my dose of Naltrexone has been increased to 100mg.

    - Lamotrigine stays the same (100mg).

    - My body has become much too tolerant to sleeping medications. I was on them for so many years that my body just got used to the effects. As such, I have been dealing with insomnia on and off for over a year. I have been on Trazodone before (up to 500mg) but was put back on it (100mg). Hopefully, it works(?)

Here’s hoping these alterations in my medicines works for the best!

It might take some time to adjust. Try to not stress out too much. And good luck!

If you were to slowly ease off the sleeping meds, do you think you'd be able to overcome your insomnia?
