Only one more day of work and I have 2 days off

First day returning to work! It went well. It was very busy yet steady. I made $40 in tips too!

I have to roll into work tomorrow to go over a safety training video. This is because we are taking on new, strict policies to help prevent potential spread of COVID-19. The video so going to be 3 hours long but I’ll be getting paid to watch it so that’s good!
The new policies are going to be tricky though because we tend to get very, very busy and I don’t see this accommodating clients properly. Alas, we must be safe.
- Clients will be checked in outside of the building.
- Only one dog can be bathed at a time.
- No walk-ins.
- Salon hours will be cut.
- Masks must be worn at all times.

I forgot the new mask rule was put into play today. I drove all the out to Target only to be told I couldn’t come in due to lack of a mask so I had to drive all the way back home just to get one.

One of my biggest pet peeves in the brony/pegasister fandom is the use of the term “the mane six”. I get that’s a play on words but I can’t stand the improper use of the word... It’s “main”, okay? I’m a huge grammar/spelling freak so every time I read it that way, a part of me just wants to scream.
I’m not hating on anyone lol. This has been on my mind for years and I was like: “Fuck it, people need to know this”.
