  1. A saxophone, something in neon (i love neon lights), a crescent moon (i love nighttime) or like my name suggests, coffee or something related to that, i like my café served drinks.
  2. There was hearsay here and there which i heard, but i never seriously paid any attention to it, like i said in my first/welcome post, i was truly introduced to it and started watching my first episodes through a mod which i regulary play. Which is called Garry's mod, basically you request youtube videos which are then displayed on the big screen infront of you, the map is just like a cinema. There are around 60-70 people in the same room during peak hours (weekends). It's fun watching it that way. Sure, there are some haters, but i dont pay attention to it. You can even buy a brony tag next to your ingame name... Or rent your own space for bronies to gather. The first thing i thought? It was MLP, i knew i had previous experiences from the 90's, earlier generations, i nearly always zapped away to another channel, and i had to shed that nasty aftertaste and give this a chance. But i'm a very open-minded person, so i never brush aside anything that easy. I was very much suprised by the quality and intelligence of it. About an hour after i started looking on youtube for related fanwork like art and remixes. I was hooked from the start. It definitely has a positive effect on the way my days go by. It brings back a lot of nostalgia for some reason, which a lot of recent cartoons dont do for me anymore, most of it is garbage. I did go through the stage of "Why am i liking this?" for a short while, then i just thought "Because you just do, embrace it"... Easy as that. Aside that, it brought back my desire to pick up art once again, which i havent done in ages.
  3. Feeling cold. As in, bring in winter wrap up cold! I'm not made for winter!

  4. Good to see you've managed to drag yourself out of that pit of bitterness. The show does have that effect of changing your views on life, and that aside it makes you tolerate the characteristics of other people some more that bug you. And overall shaping an happier you. If anything changes things for the better, whether it be a show, or music or whatever, as an outsider, you can always give it a chance, glad you did. When things change for the worse, either because of school or at home, you can get the habbit of thinking that everyone out there exists just to hurt you in some way. But there are always fine, likeminded people.
  5. Not really, i was pretty much open to all colors from the start to begin with, but i've got a thing for earthly colors, like a combination of beige/black/gold. And variations of dark blue.
  6. I pretty much lost it at "OMG I LUV THIS!". Now can we please get some muffin launchers and party cannons in there?
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mw-1vTEXZWQ Bet you didnt see that one coming.
  8. I'm not good at having favorites, since all songs have distinctive qualities to them. But i guess find a pet song at the top, followed by the Flim Flam song.
  9. I'm a sucker for old timey things, so i loved the Flim Flam song. For those who dont know, the voice actors were Sam Vincent (Flim) and Scott McNeil (Flam). The "You've got opportunity in this community" line sticked with me for hours.
  10. I've seen bodybuilder types reviewing entire episodes on youtube, it doesn't mean much. If some people wouldnt perceive the show as a threat to their manhood for some reason, the fandom could or would be even bigger. But dont let them start with the intro.
  11. Whenever i start working on something i raise my head; "Its time for *inhale*... ZE MAGICKS!"
  12. Greetings to you all, allow me to introduce myself as Java Jive, your local Café/Jazz club owner! Bringing life into the vibrant Equestrian night scene. On a serious note, i'm happy to join the herd. I first came into contact with MLP:FiM through Garry's mod, theres a server that plays something that resembles a cinema/theater, where people can request youtube videos which are then displayed on the big screen. Needless to say, thats mostly what you'll see on there these days. I watched an episode and was hooked in the first minutes! This was somewhere halfway around season 1. I admit, the name MLP brought back the nasty aftertaste from previous generations of epic corny proportions, but i found out where they went wrong, this one went right. It's intelligent, humoristic, colorful and has tons of cultural references and the latest Derpy scene proved a tight bond between those responsible for the show and the ones supporting them. I've seen it brings out the best in people, and brightens everyone's day! It certainly brings back some nostalgia from the 90's somehow. I'm also trying to improve on my art skills, i'm very new to it. I recently bought a Bamboo tablet, if i have a contribution to make in the future, i'll definitely let you know. Cheers, oh, and here's a free cappuccino... its on the house you know. -JavaJive
