I'm no poetry expert, nor know much about the subject in general, but I do know when I've read something that came from the heart. The first one of the two hit me especially hard (I'm a very emotional pony.). As I read it the first time, I envisioned myself and my special somepony, and by line 8, I already could feel my heart begin to hurt a bit. Once I hit the ninth line, I felt crushed by the weight of what I was reading, and shed a tear. Having nearly very lost loved ones hurts enough, I couldn't imagine what actually it would actually feel like, for me, Departing evokes a taste of that emotion.

I don't have any OC. TPAM plays the mmorpg Torn.

Hi all! For starters, this isn't the kind of game that will appeal to everyone, but hang with me a moment. A (very) quick summary: Torn city is a text-based crime game, where you can do whatever you want, and be anypony you want to be. This isn't some un-established game with a limited player count, there are thousands of people to play with, and against. I'm part a 25 player strong faction, the Canterlot Cartel. Ideally, we're hoping to introduce new people to the game, and if they enjoy it enough, and make it past the first 10 or so levels (not hard) , we'll try and bring you aboard!
