I'd say it's necessary to have at least some. We're long-distance now, but I think visiting as frequently as possible is the best way to make a long-distance relationship work out in the long run (as well as having a general plan on when/how to close the distance). I wouldn't be in a relationship with someone I could never have physical contact with, even though I'm fine without having it every day. Have you ever became friends with an old ex?

What have the rocks been up to lately?

Maybe they thought they wouldn't be so cold and didn't think they needed a jacket? I know I've made that mistake Same as usual I suppose! Always something going on. It's finally getting cooler here which is really nice. I've been well, busy though. Yeah I've seen the last three episodes; a friend asked me to watch them with him . I've barely seen any of the other episodes in the past few seasons so the "ending of the end" episodes didn't make a ton of sense to me, maybe I need to go back and watch more episodes, I doubt I will though.

general What generation are you a part of?
SparklingSwirls replied to JeyWiz's topic in General Discussion
I was born in 1999, so that makes me gen z I suppose. The biggest thing people from each generation have in common is that they love complaining about the newer generation I wonder how gen z will complain about... gen aa? gen alpha? I don’t know what’s next -
I don't think so, maybe some does What Steam game should I play next? I like fun, light-hearted games.

I've watched MLP since February of 2012. Sure the epilogue was a bit of a letdown (I think anything would be a letdown considering how high all our expectations were/are) but it's only one episode out of... *checks* 222. The show has been worth it for giving me a laugh or a smile from time to time. I haven't watched many of the episodes in later seasons (and the ones that I have watched I've mostly forgotten about) but I used to always look forward to the new episode coming out each Saturday. And I can of course thank the show for all the great friendships I've made along the way, both past ones and current ones.

I try not to think about it too much, but when I do think about my death, I try to not worry about it. I could see death being something not to be feared if I had lived a long fulfilling life, given friends/family plenty of happy memories to look back on, and was able to leave this world in peace and comfort (dying in your sleep would be the way to go I think).

I have nothing against polyamorous people, but I have trouble wrapping my head around it. I feel like it would be easier for someone to get jealous (yes I read the link, but for most people, there’s only so much “openness and curiosity” they can handle before they start to feel left out). And... how can you know that you’re treating each of your partners equally? There’s only so much time in a day. People are certainly able to make it work, but as someone who views relationships through the lense of “committing to one special person” it kind of takes some of the “specialness” out of the relationship (I don’t think I can explain this properly...)
