If you want to eat a french fry watch them be made first, you will not want to eat them after that.

Dude, you should see our freezer. It's literally filled with a good 30-40 cases of those damn things. Each case of fries is about 20-24 pounds (can't remember). Think about that.

  2. Bleh, I'm bored, so why not? Ask my OC, Swordpoint, anything. The link to his bio is in my sig. Ask anything, but be prepared for the answer.
  3. @@Avolon, @, Swordpoint awoke as the sun was setting in the night sky. He stood calmly, stepping outside his tent. The army had not yet awoken, and he found himself looking into the night sky. It had only been approximately one week since the Appleloosan attack, and here they were, marching to war. He cursed beneath his breath and found Phylomon, Crimson, and Golden Age. Sanura still had not returned. He roused them all from their slumber. "We move once more. Awaken the troops."
  4. Given that there was absolutely no plot and it was just pointless murder of other ponies, I found it to be rather distasteful. That's a good sign that you just might be a serial killer.
  5. @ (OoC: You're tickling him? Really? lol) Swordpoint cocked an eyebrow as Pella tried to tickle him. He bucked her off of his back easily. "What did you hope to accomplish by that? I have trained for over forty years. Did you not think I would have the capability to overcome such a petty weakness?" When she'd landed, he leapt toward her, aiming for her midsection.
  6. @ Swordpoint's eyes narrowed. "Switch forms? Well... as long as you do not make any attempt to kill me. Do what you must. I fully intend to give you a fair chance. However, should you use some form of magic, know that I will no longer hold my own magic back." He glared back at Rainbow, giving her a look as if to say "get out of here." Rainbow saw Swordpoint's face, and she only shook her head defiantly. No way. I'm staying here no matter what. If someone tries to kill you, I'm stepping in. I don't care if they disqualify you; you aren't dying here.
  7. @ Swordpoint quickly sprung to his hooves. He glanced into the crowd and saw the object of Pella's attention. No... I told you to stay away, Rainbow! Damn! I should never have taught her how to see the magical energies of the world... now she has found me and placed her life in danger. "Change? What do you mean? If this is a trick intending to harm me, I shall have you know that you will regret it." Rainbow watched silently as Swordpoint noticed her. She knew he would be angry, but she didn't care. If he was placing his life in danger, he'd need someone to watch his flank... and she preferred to be that pony. Come on, Swordpoint... pay attention!
  8. @ Swordpoint pushed Pella hard with his back hooves, and she flew off of him. "I believe that she knows I am truthful to her. I am not the sort of pony who will abandon her. After all that we have shared, no one could ever take her place in my heart." Swordpoint charged Pella again, this time leaping into the air and tackling her, forcing her to the ground again. He still wasn't using all of his strength, because he was interested in her words. Once again, he leaned close to her. "I felt her, Pella... I felt Stone's life force somewhere in this place... but then it disappeared. I do now know if that means that she has been killed... or if she is simply being held somewhere that is beyond my perception of the world's magical energy."
  9. @ Swordpoint flipped backward and landed on his feet. "You would do well not to speak of such vileness," he said crossly. "A bond shared between a stallion and mare is one that should never be exploited for the personal gain of others." He dashed forward without warning, grabbing Pella and forcing her to the ground with his strength alone. With her pinned down, he moved close to her ear. "I am aware that Rail possesses his own agenda," he whispered. "He threatened me into participating, claiming that he would extend an invitation to Rainbow Dash if I refused. There have already been several deaths unrelated to the tournament in the vicinity. I sensed at least five energy sources dying, and there have only been three fatalities in the tournament. I do not know what he intends to do with me, but I am quite certain that he has dark plans for me regardless of whether or not I am victorious."
  10. @ Swordpoint weathered the impact, remaining upright. He then took a step back and waited. She is trying to exploit openings, and if I choose not to create any, she will be forced to attack blindly to cause me to lower my guard. "Yes, I have heard of such 'radiation.' The whispers of time spoke that word, in the far future, long after we have gone."
  11. @@SCS Hm. Seems to have magically fixed itself on its own. Odd.
  12. @ Swordpoint leapt back to his hooves quickly. He dashed toward Pella, but leapt over her once he neared her. He then wrapped his forehooves around her back, picked her up, and dropped her backward. "Tell me, Pella, how do you know Radio? And how fares my old friend?"
  13. Just pre-ordered Diablo III for Xbox. YEEEE!

Well not all of us can have fancy gaming PCs powerful enough to run it.

      ~StatesTheOblivious~

      Powerful? Well, okay, maybe...

But what I hate is that console will get everything we always wanted and Blizz didn't give us any updates about the PC patches in months...

      Yup. Hard life.

  14. @ Swordpoint circled with Pella. He waited patiently, prepared for her to attack. She is observing me. She appears to be looking for a weakness. He would allow her to make the first move. He still didn't know anything about her skill, except that she definitely was no pushover.
  15. @@repsol rave, @ "Afraid not," the Doctor said briskly. "I have to find another one if I lose mine... which has happened before." He followed his locator down the hall until it began to beep wildly at an elegant door. "This is it. She must be inside. Get ready, Repsol." He used his screwdriver to open the lock. "I know, I know, the lock's on the outside... but I just like looking cool." He opened the door to find Fire Sharp sitting on a bed with a smug look on her face. The room was trashed. "Hello, darling. Sorry I'm late."
  16. @ Swordpoint raised his eyebrow at the mention of Radio's name. "Radio? I have not seen her since the last tournament. I suppose she spoke of me. She is an honorable mare. As for your proposal, I will gladly fight in unarmed combat. I had intended to ask you the same." He suspected that Pella wasn't as delicate as she appeared, and that she held great power hidden inside her. I trust she will be capable of holding her own. Swordpoint approached her calmly and readied himself. (OoC: When you say wrestling... Do you mean like actual wrestling or the fake WWE kind?)
  17. @ Swordpoint entered the arena quietly. He saw Pella and immediately grew uncomfortable. "Wait... you are my opponent? You do not appear to be a fighter." He shook his head. "No. I cannot fight you. But if I do not... Other fighters may not show you the same kindness that I will..." He eyed her curiously. "What will you do? Will you fight me? Will you try to take my life? Or have you a sense of honor and righteousness?"
  18. I literally JUST installed Firefox. There's no add-ons whatsoever. I've also tried clearing my cache and refreshing multiple times. It looks the same every time.
  19. @ "Nothing is for certain," Swordpoint whispered, "but I was blackmailed into participation. Why would they need me? It cannot be something as simple as financial motivation..." He glanced around again. "I've also sensed at least five deaths. Five life forces snuffed out... and only two of them have been deaths in matches. Please, Thunder... leave this place. You are a good stallion, and I know this. I can see it in your eyes." He held out his hoof. "I am sorry for the pain that I caused you. I hope that you will forgive me. Know that I have already forgiven you." @ After the winners had been announced, Swordpoint glanced up. "Wait... I heard Cosmo and Crimson! They are here?!" A smirk came to his face. "My brothers of battle... joining me once more." He couldn't help but smile. He exited the arena calmly. @, @@TheBreech *NEXT DAY* Swordpoint waited in the lounge, hoping to see either Cosmo or Crimson. He wanted to speak with both of them.
  20. @, @ Swordpoint gave Thunder a nod, ackowledging his skill and determination. He was glad that the match had ended without unnecessary bloodshed. He sighed deeply and spread his wings, collecting magical energy until he had regained enough strength. He then cast his healing spell with full power, closing the wound on his chest and eliminating some of his burns. He would still need to visit the infirmary to receive proper treatment, however. "Thunder Dash!" Swordpoint called after his opponent. "You fought an honorable fight. I am sorry, but I cannot give in. I truly do not wish to be in this foul tournament, as I did not wish to be the champion of the last one." His glance darted from side to side before he approached Thunder. He moved in close to speak privately with him. "Leave here as soon as possible," he whispered. "In the last tournament, I believe financial gain was Rail's objective, and yet... this time I believe it is far more sinister. I do not wish to involve you in what I know must be done. Return to your family, and stay far away from this forsaken arena."
  21. I just installed Firefox to check on a supposed issue on another site, and I was like "Eh, might as well go visit MLPForums while I'm at it." HOLY CRAP is this site broken in Firefox. Screenshot of the devastation is attached. You can clearly see the scrollbar at the right is at the top. I didn't scroll it down at all.
  22. @ Swordpoint was prepared for Thunder's attack. He dodged it and pulled the small dagger from behind his wing, which he plunged into Thunder's chest, making certain to avoid any vital organs. He smashed his hoof on Thunder's back, plunging him down to the ground. He gave chase and crashed into Thunder on the ground, then stepping off of him and removing his dagger from Thunder's chest. He gently placed it back behind his wing. No severe damage... It appears that I succeeded in harming him without causing mortal injury.
  23. @ Swordpoint surrounded himself with a powerful barrier quickly. Thunder's impact against the shield sent him flying backward at an alarming pace. Burnt and in pain, Swordpoint tried to teleport, but found that he could not. Instead, he began to desperately flap his wings to slow himself. He managed to avoid a ring out by inches. He floated down to the arena floor and tried to catch his breath for a moment. This battle... Thunder is more powerful than even Frostbite. I must persevere... Celestia only knows what they will do to Rainbow if I fail... Or to me. He spread his wings, gathering more energy. He recovered some of his strength and shot upward toward Thunder. He grappled with the yellow pegasus and started headbutting him repeatedly. He smashed his hooves into Thunder's face over and over, hoping desperately to do enough damage to him. They were both weakening, and he knew that it was just a matter of one competitor doing enough to the other.
  24. @ Swordpoint was filled with immense pain. He fought it the best he could, but he couldn't teleport away. He could feel his energy draining, and he knew that he was cornered. Damn! I do not wish to do this now... I may need the armor later... But if I do not, I may well die here. In a last ditch effort, he used some of his body's energy to conjure his armor, which he then focused into pure energy. The armor glowed with a brilliant light, and then dissipated into Swordpoint. He was filled with power, which he used to shatter the barrier. Fresh blood fell from the wound on his chest, which was reopened by the barrier. "I was hoping not to have to absorb my armor so soon, but you left me with little alternative." His energy renewed, he charged Thunder, flames erupting around his body. The heat was incredibly painful, but Swordpoint forced himself to ignore it. As he crashed into Thunder, Swordpoint thrust the flaming energy onto his opponent, watching it engulf the pegasus. As he backpedaled, he examined his skin to find it charred. I truly wish Crimson had informed me of the dangers of the spells which he taught me...
  25. @ Swordpoint hastily conjured a barrier in front of him, reflecting the bolt back. He then tossed Thunder toward it and tried to gather some energy while he had a moment. It wasn't much, but it was enough. He used the healing spell to stop the blood loss from his wound, but he wasn't able to close it completely or stop the pain. He faced Thunder and waited, ready for his opponent's next move.
