The first thing I noticed upon wandering into this thread was that the post format looked strikingly familiar. And then I saw the art... my god. I am incredibly jealous of your ability. If a slot opens up, I think I'll have to make a request. O.o

Did this sketch for someone on Tumblr. I think it came out okay, but my lord that hair was tough... Also did this sketch in Psych class. Mainly just wanted to try the pose and perspective so a lot of the proportions are really off.

@, here's your request. I had tried a pose like this once before and it ended up a disaster. I'm kind of surprised I was able to pull it off. Though, the back legs really messed with me and I don't think I got the perspective right.

Current Status: Closed I've been doing a lot of sketching while sitting at work doing nothing. I still need a lot of practice, but I often can't figure out what sort of pose I want to try or even who to draw. As such, I figured I would open a sketch request thread. The link below points to my drawings folder on deviantART so you can get a basic idea of the kind of thing you will receive. They will likely be done with pencil and paper, though I might throw a digital sketch in every once in a while. Here's a sketch I did of Fluttershy. The main purpose of this sketch was to try and figure out a method for drawing wings and I think I figured it out.

Thanks for the feedback, guys! Here's another that I did for someone on Tumblr. Not really happy with the front legs, especially the lifted one. Can't seem to get that kind of pose right. And here's one I did of Velvet Remedy, my favorite character from Fallout: Equestria.

Ugh, I am so jealous of your abilities. TEACH ME HOW TO COLOR AND DRAW HAIR Only thing I can see in terms of a critique is that the closer front leg's perspective looks a little weird.

Another sketch done at work. I accomplished two things I wanted to do here - draw a pony laying down and draw a picture of Octavia that I'm at least mostly happy with.

Understandable, but he is right. Getting a job where you have to interact with people on a daily basis does help a lot. When I said it got better after high school, a large part of that was because I got a job at a full service gas station. I doubt it would have gotten that much better if it weren't for that job.

I've struggled with bad social anxiety for as long as I can remember. I've been through everything that you've mentioned. I once had a panic attack before I had to do a presentation in front of the class. It's gotten better since I've been out of high school, but it still affects me.
