  1. @@Nomadic,@, Willow Starsinger "No, it's okay. I was just reminded of my past, is all. I.. thank you, though. I'll treasure it," Willow nuzzled Denarius, taking the stick in her mouth. "I guess when it comes to.. well, defending friends, I get mad," Willow nodded, wiping her eyes. (Lazy post on my part.. ) @@Tricksters Pride, Aphrodite "I hope you're not lying," Aphrodite chuckled, "this boss seems too good to be true. Where is he, anyway? We could be wandering the streets for hours," Aphrodite looked around her, expecting to see the boss leaning against a lamppost. (Lazy post - I'm about to go to school!)
  2. @Nomadic, Willow Starsinger "Well, Kricket could've been crushed or lost or hurt by somepony else!" Willow raised her voice, then sighing. "I don't know. It's nice to have something to care for. Besides, Kricket is.. my friend. It's been hard for me to make those, since.. since.." Willow's eyes clouded with tears, thinking of that terrible memory. "I can't just leave him behind to perish. It's probably why it came back to me in the forest. I'm still trying to pay him back for that." Willow picked up Kricket and put it in her mane. She followed close behind Orion, waving Zintiik over to her.
  3. @@Tricksters Pride, Aphrodite "So, how did you get to know this boss of yours?" Aphrodite asked, wondering who exactly this new stallion is. "What's he do?" Aphrodite strolled through the empty streets. She didnt find this strange - she hated other ponies anyway. She didnt try to get noticed by other stallions - rather, pushed them aside - ever since she's been separated from Blast. It seemed liek he was the only stallion she liked.. No more thinking of that. She had a job - and a reputation - to maintain and she doesn't want the past to get in her way.

  6. @@Tricksters Pride, Aphrodite "Thank you, that'd mean a lot." Aphrodite followed the stallion out the door, once again wondering how her old companions are doing. How was Blast or Kingfisher? They were probably fine without her. She only wore them down anyway. She hoped this new job would bring her good.. @@Nomadic, Willow Starsinger "Well, I wasn't curious of the light. I just wanted to save my friend," Willow started, thinking she sounded ridiculous. "I know it sounds silly, but Orion conjured up a little dragon Aspect to keep me safe when we were in the forest. A few days later, when Orion lost the power of the Litany and it was transferred to me," Willow gestured at her wings,"Orion's spell freed the Aspect and I kept him as a pet ever since." She took Kricket out of her saddlebag and handed him to Denarius as she trotted along the path.
  7. @@Tricksters Pride, Aphrodite "So, where can I find your boss to ask about it?" Aphrodite asked, eager to meet her new boss. He sounded pretty friendly. Do a good job, get more bits, make more money, finally get a home. Simple as that. She could already see her future, sitting in front of a television in a small hotel room. Actually, it wasnt that good. But being a bodyguard sounded all the better. She could get paid to do something she was good at!

  9. @@Midnight Scribbler, Willow Starsinger Willow was surprised by Scribbler's sudden recovery, and carefully let the stallion down. She knew what it was like to go and find somepony to protect them. In the cases of knowing Orion, Kricket or Zintiik were gone, she would have rushed away from the group to find them. It was very important to her that they don't get hurt. She didn't know the others well though, but she felt that she could trust them. Well, at least under the circumstances that they haven't hurt her or insulted her in any way yet.
  10. @@Tricksters Pride, Aphrodite "How many bits are we talking about here?" Aphrodite asked curiously. "And who is this boss? What's he like?" Aphrodite wasn't sure about this. She's never been offered a job before, and most of the jobs she used to have were to create things. Of course, she got fired from all of them because all she could do was hit and destroy. @, @,@@SilverHeart,@@Midnight Scribbler,@@Nomadic, Willow Starsinger "Shh, it's okay. Don't panic, just go to sleep. You don't want me to drop you now." Willow tried to be soothing in such a situation - she wouldn't want him to squirm and have her drop him to his death. So, she tried a levitation spell. She wasn't ever very good at magic, so she just had enough magic to hold him in place. But then she felt a sense that she's forgotten something. She looked back, trying to trot as she did, heeding Orion's warning. Denarius is following her, and so is Zintiik. So that's Orion, Denarius, Scribbler, Zintiik, and.. "Mirror!" Willow shouted, a downpour of snow starting to rain on the group. "Orion, could you hold up the bridge much longer?"
  11. @Tricksters Pride, Aphrodite "Work?" she hadn't even thought about looking for work. Well, she is practically brokewith only enough bits to buy one last meal. "Why do you ask?" Aphrodite asked, curious about this job offering. She really did need the job though, no matter what job it is. She just needs a few extra bits. (Sorry this was a bad post. I'm just about to go to school :3)
  12. @@Tricksters Pride, Aphrodite Aphrodite stared at the blade before rendering what was going on. Once she saw the stallion going for a blow at her head, she headbutted the stallion with her horn. "That ought to teach him," Aphrodite said, smirking mostly out of victory. "Maybe I still have it in me," Aphrodite thought out loud. (OOC: That enough?)
  13. @,@,@@Midnight Scribbler,@@SilverHeart,@@Nomadic, Willow Starsinger Willow shivered from the cold, trying not to let Scribbler fall off of her. Willow carefully hopped from platform to platform towards the path. "Zintiik, where's Denarius?" Willow asked, trying to find a way to get onto the path. Willow felt she was about to collapse from the cold, but if she went down, Scribbler did, too. Willow hefted Scribbler across the path, watching her hooves so that she didnt fall. Willow watched Orion make the path. She wished at times that this wasnt her life - she wished she could just poof home. With her parents - and Orion. But there were ponies in need - and she has friends. It was worth it, but Willow has grown distant from Orion. Her own brother - trying so hard to protect her - but to have her run into the face of danger. She could have sworn she felt the judgemental looks shot her way when she jumped after Kricket.. With every insult her brain threw at her, Willow slowed down her pace and energy. She kept going though. Just slowly, but not giving up. She kept herself encouraged by telling herself that when all of this is over, she will be home. Or maybe she won't make it home. @Tricksters Pride, Aphrodite Aphrodite flashed the quiet stallion a small smile before kicking the shady stallion and holding out the short blade. "I'm not afraid to use this," Aphrodite growled, kicking the shady stallion in the shin.
  14. @,@,@@Midnight Scribbler,@@SilverHeart,@@Nomadic, Willow Starsinger Willow prepared herself to meet her fate. She shut her eyes tight, grasping onto Kricket, seeing that Zintiik dove in after her. She blushed, knowing that he actually did that for her.. But she was greeted by the ground. "Huh?" Willow stood up. The first thing she did was stuff Kricket in her saddlebag and tied it up securely. "H-how..?" Willow inspected her surroundings, noticing that Scribbler collapsed on the platforms. "Thank you, Zintiik. For diving after me," Willow smiled, nuzzling the bug and hopping onto the platforms toward Scribbler. She hefted him onto her back, double checking to make sure his weight didnt crush Kricket in the saddlebag. The bridge was vanishing now, due to Scribbler's magic draining from his body. "Orion! Can you help?" Willow asked, wheezing as she made her way down to the bridge. She didnt worry about Zintiik. She knew he could just fly his way over. @@Tricksters Pride, Aphrodite "No!" Aphrodite pushed the stallion into a bar chair, hoping he would leave her alone. "How many times do I have to say it? I don't want your charity!" Aphrodite shouted at the stallion, sitting at the bar in a displeased mood, not meeting eyes with the shady stallion.
  15. @,@,@@Nomadic,@@Midnight Scribbler,@@SilverHeart, Willow Starsinger "Um, no, I'll be fine," Willow smiled at Zintiik. She really denied because she was afraid that Kricket would've bit him and he would've spiraled out of control. It was for both of their well beings.. Willow noticed a path being formed a few platforms below her, and saw that Scribbler was doing the work. She saw Orion and Denarius making their way towards the pair, but Willow decided to not think of it. Kricket could be in danger.. "Kricket, please come down! Kricket?" Willow's eyes were shiny with tears, for fear that Kricket could get crushed by the platforms or fall. "P-please come down!" Willow looked cautiously down at the bowels that would greet her if she fell. Willow looked at the poor Aspect and decided that she should take the risk. So with a jump, Willow caught the Aspect and faced what will come to her.
  16. @@Tricksters Pride, Aphrodite "I think I could manage on my own, thank you very much," Aphrodite said in a cold tone, butting heads with the stranger, shoving him away from her. "Besides, I'm not going home with somepony.. er, wasted." Aphrodite continued to order drinks from the bartender and forced herself not to taunt the stranger any longer. (A bit of a lazy post.. I guess it's enough though.)
  17. @,@, Willow Starsinger "K-Kricket! Come over here, little guy!" Willow cried anxiously, beckoning the Aspect with her hooves. After a few minutes of no response, she shut her eyes and jumped toward the drake, expecting to feel no earth beneath her. She met the ground though, and got closer to Kricket. "Kricket!" Willow paced herself so she wouldn't go too fast and jump over the edge. The Aspect was far away though, and she struggled to keep her hooves on the ground. @@Tricksters Pride, Aphrodite (Now for her triumphant return!) Knowing it's long since she's been forgotten from her past journey, Aphrodite was happy that she finally didn't have pressure on her anymore or was in a life-threatening situation. She's went to the bathroom before boarding the train and lost her chance to follow the group. Now, she's at a tavern wasted until somepony remembers she was gone. She huffed at a nearby stallion that was inching closer to her, glaring at him until he felt uncomfortable and trotted away. Aphrodite didn't know what to do anymore. She didn't live in Canterlot or have enough pocket change to buy a ticket to her hometown, so she's been wandering the streets and sleeping by an alley for a while. She often wondered what the group was doing without her. What about Blast? Has he noticed? What about the crazy alicorn stallion.. Orion? She decided to not think of it. It seemed that drinking was the only thing that kept her sanity..
  18. @,@, Willow Starsinger Willow tried to face the ground before her, not trying to look down as the changeling fled above her. She didnt blame him. It was everypony for themselves in the outside world. She began to give up hope until she felt two hooves wrap around her. She catiously looked up, expecting to see Celestia above to take her away. But Zintiik was there. "Z..Zintiik?" Willow hugged the bug, partly out of not wanting to fall, but mostly out of gratitude. Willow felt safe with Zintiik beside her. After all, the only pony she knew that would do that was Orion, but she was surprised when Zintiik embraced her. Wasnt changelings supposed to think of ponies as prey or at least ditch them when they needed help the most? Wouldn't they fly away heartlessly? Well, they did in the stories Orion had told her when she was younger. Now that she knew a changeling though, it felt different. It felt wrong to trust a changeling, but he wouldn't lie to her.. right? Willow buried her face in Zintiik's chest when she remembered something. She abruptly pulled away from the bug and stood up, wobbling. "Kricket! Oh Kricket, where are you?" Willow called out, standing dangerously close to the edge of the small island.
  19. @,@,@@Nomadic,@@Midnight Scribbler,@@SilverHeart, Willow Starsinger "I.. I don't know. I don't know where we are, or how--" Willow was interrupted by a screech from Kricket - something he hasn't done to her in a while, so she realized it must've been important. She looked at the ground that Kricket was trying to point to. She didnt think much of it at first; until the ground shifted under her. "Z-Zintiik!! Kricket!?" Willow thought that she should fly away from it; but it was too dangerous for her first time flying. She desperately pawed around the ground, trying to sit down so that she wouldn't fall. She noticed the rest of the group catching up to them and saw that Orion was calling to her. "Orion!" Willow cried, growing dizzy as she looked down. She was afraid of heights, after all. She covered her eyes with her hooves and shuddered helplessly, trying not to look down. All while this was happening though - her wings were beginning to vanish.
  20. Talking to like 5 people on messenger :o

  21. @, @@Nomadic,@@Midnight Scribbler,@,@@SilverHeart, Willow Starsinger Willow smiled, noticing that Kricket was flitting around her mane.. until she noticed that he flew away. She gasped, louder than she expected, and made a mad dash after the Aspect with no hesitation. "K-Kricket! Slow down! You don't want us to get lost again, do you? What about Orion? Oh, he'll be so angry!" Willow frowned, trying not to frighten the little Drake. Noticing Kricket was having fun though, Willow stopped for a while and rested. She looked back and noticed that the group was nowhere to be seen. Willow glanced at Kricket to see him flitting around a tree cheerily, then thought about what Orion will do to her. She's already run off enough. Don't run off again. Well, she had an excuse this time. She didn't want Kricket to get lost, and.. well, what's the use? Orion won't trust her.. and, well, she has saved herself a lot of walking. So Willow watched the Aspect fly around, wishing she could do so.

  23. @,@@SilverHeart,@,@@Midnight Scribbler,@@Nomadic, Willow Starsinger Willow wobbled around, barely making her way out of the cave. She tuned Orion and the others out while she leaned against a rock outside to finally sleep from being so cold outside - and sleep deprivation. Last night she couldn't stop thinking about their situation and wondering why they were on this trip. Willow hoped they wouldn't stay too long in the cold and the adventure wouldn't be too long. So Willow lay down by a tree to sleep. (( Lazy post! ))
