My opinion on Facebook is declining at a very fast rate. Unfortunately I believe staying on that site has affected my writing skills and as a result, the majority of my posts not only on here, but everywhere else has taken a hit in terms of sounding well-thought out and very constructive.

Not a commercial failure, but it does have a rather profound effect on many people. Which is why although there are some fair-mannered people on that site, the majority lies within the realms of attempting to garner attention through the means of (at times, hypocritical) statuses, attempting to be someone they're really not, and sometimes even providing false information about themselves.
