    "Hello, Diego," Lightning replied politely. "I'm Lightning Strike. I'm a 5th year Hufflepuff. It's very nice to meet you." Squirrelflight hopped over onto Diego's lap and purred. "I think she likes you," Lightning laughed. "I'm really excited to start classes again. I'm sure you'll love it at Hogwarts."

    Lightning Strike calmly flew towards the Hogwarts Express. She was excited, but she was able to keep her cool, having been an experienced Hogwarts student. Lightning was pushing her baggage truck and her cat Squirrelflight mewed. Lightning's mum trotted behind her. They reached the train. "Bye Mum," Lightning hugged her mother. "Bye, sweetie," Lightning's mum hugged back. "I promise I'll write loads of letters!" "I don't doubt it." "You'll write back, right?" "Don't I always?" Lightning and her mother laughed and hugged one more time and she boarded the train with her stuff and sat down in an empty compartment. She didn't really care who joined her, as long as they were likeable.

    ((Sorry for inactivity, I had tons of school work!! Woah, Stormlight, that's deep. XD)) Dusk could see that Stormlight was deep in thought so she quickly flew into her bedroom and grabbed her book, and then returned to her seat, all in a matter of seconds. She opened up where she had left off. She needed to pass the time somehow, and reading was just the trick.

    Dusk looked at Stormy and smiled. She was glad that somepony had initiated a conversation with her instead of the other way around, for once. "Yeah," she said. "It's just that I've got nothing to say to anypony. I can never think of anything to start a conversation, so I just kind of sit quietly by myself." Realizing what she'd just implied (that she doesn't really have any friends), she sighed inwardly.

    The loud beating of Void's wings (though she was used to it) managed to waver Dusk's concentration from her book. She looked up and got off her bed. She opened the door just a crack, to peek out into the corridor. Masque was talking to Stormy. No big deal, except that it looked like he was using some sort of magic. Whatever. She opened the door all the way and stepped out of her bedroom, closing the door behind her. She flew down the stairs quietly and went over to sit in a chair. She had nothing to say, so she just sat there awkwardly.

    Dusk blushed again. She found his last statement about the black market odd, but she shrugged it off. He didn't seem like he would steal anything and sell it. He was too nice. She shouldn't worry. Dusk was always worrying about things. She felt kind of awkward now so she flew to her bedroom and closed the door behind her. She grabbed a book off the shelf and began to read on her bed. If I Stay, was the name of the book. She opened the book. The cover was done very well. She was hooked at the first sentence. She couldn't stop. She would eventually lose track of time.

    Dusk blushed as Masque comforted her. She felt a little better, but still a little embarrassed. She was a very sensitive and self-conscious pony. She was very friendly and sweet, but still had a sort of low self esteem. Her inner sadness and shame came out now and then. "Thank you," she whispered, with a sort of voice crack. The voice crack wasn't ugly sounding, but sort of cute. " She smiled at him.

    Dusk smiled a toothy smile. Now her fangs were really visible, but she didn't mind. He seemed nice enough. "Nice to meet you! Actors are cool. I guess that explains your Cutie Mark, because actors portray different personalities from their own. So, you guys kinda hide behind a metaphorical mask when you're in character. Isn't that right? Oh, uh, sorry. I get a little carried away. I can get a little too philosophical." Dusk smiled nervously. "I enjoy acting once in a while, just for fun. It's really fun and interesting to explore different characters and put myself into their horseshoes. Woops, there I go again." Dusk was feeling sort of self-conscious right about now. She looked down at her hooves, almost ashamed of herself.

    Dusk looked towards the newcomer. She smiled warmly, unconsciously letting her fangs show, and greeted the stallion. He was handsome, and his voice very smooth. His Prench accent was very romantic; not that she loved him or anything. "Hi, there," she said. "I'm Dusk. And you are?"
