      Capitalism is what's forcing you to work, not the government. A good tax code should be adjusted to income levels so it's not crippling for anyone. Plus, people in sovereign states with universal healthcare tend to like having it, regardless of their opinion on the quality of care, so it's not exactly forced on you. You'll need that healthcare eventually, and it's better when you don't need to worry about affording it. I don't know what this universal healthcare will need to look like to work in the U.S. cultural landscape, but I consider denying people healthcare based on economic stature or bankrupting people in order to receive needed care to be far more morally reprehensible than taxation.

      Also, you're implying you own a gun, do you really need it?
