I don't understand how people can live in the greatest nation and then complain about it.

Some more:
- We still have a $7.25 federal minimum wage. That's a starvation wage. Unacceptable. At the very least, it should be $15/hour minimum and adjust to inflation.
- Some states are imposing a limit for pregnant people for the ability to have an abortion at 20 weeks. Unacceptable. Every state should have an abortion clinic readily available and should have the option regardless of the trimester.
- As a country, we still have a lust for fossil fuel, oil, and coal. Coal's use is dying. Fracking and fossil fuels pollute the air and our drinking water. We should be pressing forward clean energy. Solar, geothermal, wind.
- Police brutality is still a major problem. Why do you think BLM exists in the first place? It's not to be cute. It's to put the police departments accountable. In this country, out police is militarized. Most of the AA community doesn't hate police for no reason.
- Several states have a modern-day poll tax in the form of Voter ID laws. They're there for one reason and one reason only: to discourage the poor, most of whom people of color, from voting.
- Why do many Americans buy medicine from Canada? Because it's very expensive to pay for the same meds here in the States.
QuoteHealthcare is not a right. You do not have a right to someone else's hard work.
If you're someone who needs a doctor, you should have the right to the doctor whether the doctor likes it or not. Our healthcare is treated as a luxury. A privilege. A person's health shouldn't be treated like a game.
